 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 BUILDING
  
 1) ( REPEAT COMMENT ) THE WIND DESIGN DATA ON SHEET S-3
 OF THE PLANS IS INCORRECT. THE WIND SPEED IS 170 MPH
 AND THE 2010 FBC REFERENCES ASCE 7-10. FBC R301.2.1 AND
 FBC-R CHAPTER 43 THE LOAD SCHEDULE ON S-3 WAS NOT
 CORRECTED.
  
 2) ( REPEAT COMMENT ) SPECIFY HOW THE BALCONY FLOOR AND
 WALLS WILL BE WATERPROOFED AND HOW THE RAIN WATER WILL
 BE DISCHARGED FROM THE SLAB FLOOR OF THE BALCONY THAT
 WILL BE BUILT INTO THE ROOF OF THE EXISTING STRUCTURE.

 3) SPECIFY THE SIZE OF THE SECTIONAL GARAGE DOOR ON THE
 PLANS. FBC 107.2.1 THE OPENING WIDTH FOR THE GARAGE
 DOOR WAS SPECIFIED ON THE PLANS AS 9'-8" WIDE AND
 HEIGHT WAS NOT SPECIFIED. THE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR THE
 GARAGE DOOR THAT WAS SUBMITTED HAS A MAXIMUM WIDTH OF 9
 FEET. THE OPENING IS TOO LARGE FOR A 9 FOOT WIDE DOOR.
  
 4) ( REPEAT COMMENT ) THE ENERGY CALCULATION FORM THAT
 WAS SUBMITTED DOES NOT MATCH THE PLANS FOR THE EXTERIOR
 WALL AND CEILING INSULATION. PLEASE CORRECT. THE PLANS
 SPECIFY AN UNVENTED ATTIC WITH R-20 INSULATION APPLIED
 UNDER THE ROOF DECK AND MINIMUM R-4.2 INSULATION ON THE
 WALLS. THE ENERGY FORM HAS
  
 5) ( REPEAT COMMENT ) SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF PRODUCT
 APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY DCA RULE 9N-3 THAT HAVE BEEN
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD. FBC 107.3.4.1 THE FOLLOWING PRODUCT APPROVALS
 WERE MISSING OR INCOMPLETE:
 - SLIDING GLASS DOORS
 - OUT SWING METAL DOORS (#8 & #9)
 - OUT SWING WOOD FRONT ENTRY DOOR (#7)
 - THE BALCONY WATERPROOFING MATERIAL ( CONCRETE AND
 WOOD DECKS )
 - THE 53 INCHES WIDE CASEMENT WINDOWS ( NOA NO.
 11-1114.22 HAS A MAXIMUM WIDTH LIMITATION OF 36 INCHES)
  
 6) REVISE THE STRUCTURAL PLANS TO SHOW THE FOUNDATION,
 COLUMNS AND BEAMS THAT ARE REQUIRED FOR THE
 CANTILEVERED BALCONY BASED ON THE CALCULATIONS AND
 DETAILS FROM THE ENGINEER. FBC 107.2.1
  
 7) THE SLOPE OF THE BALCONY ROOFS COVERED WITH MODIFIED
 BITUMEN ROOFING ARE REQUIRED TO BE A MINIMUM OF 1/4"
 PER FOOT. FBC-R905.11.1 THE PLAN SPECIFIES 1/8" PER
 FOOT SLOPE.
  
 8) THE MODIFIED ROOF COVERING NOTE ON SHEETS A-1 AND
 S-2 HAS AN ARROW POINTING TO THE BALCONY WITH THE WOOD
 DECK, BUT INCORRECTLY STATES CONCRETE DECK. THE
 CANTILEVER CONCRETE DECK IS THE ONE ON THE OPPSITE SIDE
 OF THE SECOND FLOOR. FBC 107.2.1
  
 IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIME, PLEASE PROVIDE A
 RESPONSE LETTER INDICATING HOW EACH REVIEW COMMENT WAS
