 INCORRECTLY SPECIFIED ON SHEET CVR AS TYPE III-B AND IT
 SHOULD BE TYPE V-B. FBC 602
  
 2) THE OCCUPANCY TYPE FOR THIS SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING
 IS R-3 PER FBC 310.
  
 3) THE WIND DESIGN DATA ON SHEET S-3 OF THE PLANS IS
 INCORRECT. THE WIND SPEED IS 170 MPH AND THE 2010 FBC
 REFERENCES ASCE 7-10. FBC R301.2.1 AND FBC-R CHAPTER 43
  
 4) THE ROOF SHEATHING FASTENING NOTES ON SHEETS S-2 AND
 S-3 DO NOT SPECIFY THAT 8D RING SHANK NAILS ARE
 REQUIRED. PLEASE CORRECT. FBC-R803.2.3.1 SHEATHING
 FASTENINGS.
 WOOD STRUCTURAL PANEL SHEATHING SHALL BE FASTENED TO
 ROOF FRAMING WITH 8D RING-SHANK NAILS AT 6 INCHES ON
 CENTER AT EDGES AND 6 INCHES ON CENTER AT INTERMEDIATE
 FRAMING. RING-SHANK NAILS SHALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING
 MINIMUM DIMENSIONS:
 1. 0.113 INCH NOMINAL SHANK DIAMETER.
 2. RING DIAMETER OF 0.012 OVER SHANK DIAMETER.
 3. 16 TO 20 RINGS PER INCH.
 4. 0.280 INCH FULL ROUND HEAD DIAMETER.
 5. 2 INCH NAIL LENGTH.
 WHERE ROOF FRAMING WITH A SPECIFIC GRAVITY, 0.42 < G <
 0.49 IS USED, SPACING OF RING-SHANK FASTENERS SHALL BE
 4 INCHES ON CENTER IN NAILING ZONE 3 IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 FIGURE R803.2.3.1 WHERE VASD AS DETERMINED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION R301.2.1.3 IS 130 MPH OR
 GREATER.
  
 5) PLEASE REVISE THE ROOF ZONE PRESSURES ON SHEET S-2
 SO THAT THEY MATCH THE CORRECT PRESSURES WHICH AS
 SPECIFIED ON SHEETS CVR AND A-2. FBC - R301.2.1
  
 6) SUBMIT SIGNED AND SEALED STRUCTURAL DETAILS AND
 CALCULATIONS FOR THE CANTILEVERED 5 FOOT REINFORCED
 CONCRETE BALCONY SLAB FROM A FLORIDA LICENSED
 STRUCTURAL ENGINEER. FBC 107.2.1.3
  
 7) SPECIFY HOW THE BALCONY FLOOR AND WALLS WILL BE
 WATERPROOFED AND HOW THE RAIN WATER WILL BE DISCHARGED
 FROM THE SLAB FLOOR OF THE BALCONY THAT WILL BE BUILT
 INTO THE ROOF OF THE EXISTING STRUCTURE. FBC 107.2.1
  
 8) PROVIDE DETAILS ON THE WATER PROOFING OF THE WALLS
 AND SHOW HOW THE RAIN WATER WILL BE DIVERTED OFF OF THE
 ROOF WHERE THE EXISTING SLOPED ROOF MEETS THE WALL OF
 THE NEW TWO STORY ADDITION. FBC 107.2.1
  
 9) THE WINDOW AND SLIDING GLASS JAMB DETAILS 2 AND 12
 ON A-3 DO NOT SHOW BUCKS THAT PROVIDE FULL SUPPORT OF
 THE WINDOW AND DOOR FRAMES AS REQUIRED BY FBC -
 R612.10.2.1 MASONRY, CONCRETE OR OTHER STRUCTURAL
 SUBSTRATE.
 WHERE THE WOOD SHIM OR BUCK THICKNESS IS LESS THAN 11/2
 INCHES (38 MM), WINDOW AND DOOR ASSEMBLIES SHALL BE
 ANCHORED THROUGH THE MAIN FRAME OR BY JAMB CLIP OR
 SUBFRAME SYSTEM, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURERS
 PUBLISHED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. ANCHORS SHALL BE
 SECURELY FASTENED DIRECTLY INTO THE MASONRY, CONCRETE
 OR OTHER STRUCTURAL SUBSTRATE MATERIAL. UNLESS
 OTHERWISE TESTED, BUCKS SHALL EXTEND BEYOND THE
 INTERIOR FACE OF THE WINDOW OR DOOR FRAME SUCH THAT
 FULL SUPPORT OF THE FRAME IS PROVIDED. SHIMS SHALL BE
 MADE FROM MATERIALS CAPABLE OF SUSTAINING APPLICABLE
 LOADS, LOCATED AND APPLIED IN A THICKNESS CAPABLE OF
 SUSTAINING APPLICABLE LOADS. ANCHORS SHALL BE PROVIDED
 TO TRANSFER LOAD FROM THE WINDOW OR DOOR FRAME TO THE
 ROUGH OPENING SUBSTRATE.
 WHERE THE WOOD BUCK THICKNESS IS 11/2 INCHES (38 MM) OR
 GREATER, THE BUCK SHALL BE SECURELY FASTENED TO
 TRANSFER LOAD TO THE MASONRY, CONCRETE OR OTHER
 STRUCTURAL SUBSTRATE AND THE BUCK SHALL EXTEND BEYOND
 THE INTERIOR FACE OF THE WINDOW OR DOOR FRAME. WINDOW
 AND DOOR ASSEMBLIES SHALL BE ANCHORED THROUGH THE MAIN
 FRAME OR BY JAMB CLIP OR SUBFRAME SYSTEM OR THROUGH THE
 FLANGE TO THE SECURED WOOD BUCK IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 MANUFACTURERS PUBLISHED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
 UNLESS OTHERWISE TESTED, BUCKS SHALL EXTEND BEYOND THE
 INTERIOR FACE OF THE WINDOW OR DOOR FRAME SUCH THAT
 FULL SUPPORT OF THE FRAME IS PROVIDED. SHIMS SHALL BE
 MADE FROM MATERIALS CAPABLE OF SUSTAINING APPLICABLE
 LOADS, LOCATED AND APPLIED IN A THICKNESS CAPABLE OF
 SUSTAINING APPLICABLE LOADS. ANCHORS SHALL BE PROVIDED
 TO TRANSFER LOAD FROM THE WINDOW OR DOOR FRAME ASSEMBLY
 TO THE SECURED WOOD BUCK.
  
 10) SPECIFY THE SIZE OF THE SECTIONAL GARAGE DOOR ON
 THE PLANS. FBC 107.2.1
  
 11) THE ENERGY CALCULATION FORM THAT WAS SUBMITTED DOES
 NOT MATCH THE PLANS FOR THE EXTERIOR WALL AND CEILING
 INSULATION. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 12) SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF PRODUCT APPROVALS AS REQUIRED
 BY DCA RULE 9N-3 THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED
 IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD. FBC 107.3.4.1 THE
 FOLLOWING ITEMS WERE MISSING OR INCOMPLETE:
 SLIDING GLASS DOORS
 OUT SWING METAL DOORS (#8 & #9)
 OUT SWING WOOD FRONT ENTRY DOOR (#7)
 THE BALCONY WATERPROOFING MATERIAL
 THE 53 INCHES WIDE CASEMENT WINDOWS ( NOA NO.
 11-1114.22 HAS A MAXIMUM WIDTH LIMITATION OF 36 INCHES)
  
 13) PART OF A FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR A JELD-WEN
 FIBERGLASS DOOR WAS SUBMITTED. THE FL# AND INSTALLATION
 INSTRUCTIONS WERE MISSING. THE DESIGNER OF RECORDS
 REVIEW STAMP WAS NOT ON THE SUBMITTAL. THERE IS NO
 FIBERGLASS DOORS SPECIFIED IN THE DOOR SCHEDULE ON
 SHEET A-1. PLEASE CLARIFY. FBC 107.2.1
  
 14) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIME, PLEASE PROVIDE
 A RESPONSE LETTER INDICATING HOW EACH REVIEW COMMENT
