 1. OUR RECORDS DO NOT SHOW A PERMIT FOR THE FIRST FLOOR
 APARTMENT, REAR STRUCTURE.
  
 PLANS ARE NOT CLEAR AS TO SCOPE AND DO NOT MAKE
 REFERENCE TO A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY. AS THE TUB WAS
 SHOWN AS "EXISTING", MY INITIAL REVIEW WAS DONE ON
 WINDOWS ONLY. PLANS DO NOT SHOW THAT THE ENTIRE FIRST
 FLOOR IS A GARAGE TO BE CONVERTED TO AN APARTMENT.
  
 ANYTHING WHICH WAS BUILT WITHOUT A PERMIT IS NOT
 "EXISTING." THE ISSUE OF THE REAR BUILDING HAS ALREADY
 BEEN BROUGHT UP IN THE PAST BY ANOTHER PLANS EXAMINER
 ON ANOTHER PERMIT.
  
 PROVIDE AN "EXISTING" PLAN FOR BOTH FLOORS. "EXISTING"
 IS TO SHOW CONDITIONS WHICH WERE LEGALLY PERMITTED.
  
 PROVIDE A "PROPOSED" PLAN WHICH SHOWS ALL PROPOSED
 CONSTRUCTION, INCLUDING ITEMS WHICH MAY BE ALREADY
 INSTALLED BUT WERE CONSTRUCTED WITHOUT A PERMIT. UNLESS
 PERMITTED, IT IS NOT "GRANDFATHERED" REGARDLESS OF WHEN
 THE CONSTRUCTION WAS DONE.
  
 PLANS ARE TO INCLUDE METHOD OF COMPLIANCE SELECTED, SEE
 FBC 2010 EXISTING BUILDING 101.5. THIS APPEARS TO BE
 BOTH AN ALTERATION AS WELL AS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY.
 PLANS SHOULD INCLUDE THIS INFORMATION FOR AN ACCURATE
 PLAN REVIEW.
  
 IT APPEARS THAT THERE IS ONE EXISTING UNIT (2ND FLOOR),
 AND A NEW APARTMENT IS PROPOSED, BUT NO TENANT
 SEPARATION WAS SHOWN. ENERGY CALCS WERE NOT PROVIDED.
 INSULATION, WALL DETAILS, ETC. WERE NOT PROVIDED.
  
 A COMPLETE CHECKLIST CANNOT BE PROVIDED AT THIS TIME
 DUE TO THE AMBIGUITY OF THE PLAN PROVIDED.
