 TOP LANDING IN THE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL WITHOUT HAVING
 TO MAKE A 90 DEGREE TURN. PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING
 2010 FL ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTIONS THAT DEAL WITH
 RAMPS.
 1A) 405.3 CROSS SLOPE. CROSS SLOPE OF RAMP RUNS SHALL
 NOT BE STEEPER THAN 1:48.
  
 1B) 405.4 FLOOR OR GROUND SURFACES. FLOOR OR GROUND
 SURFACES OF RAMP RUNS SHALL COMPLY WITH 302. CHANGES IN
 LEVEL OTHER THAN THE RUNNING SLOPE AND CROSS SLOPE ARE
 NOT PERMITTED ON RAMP RUNS.
  
 1C) 405.7 LANDINGS. RAMPS SHALL HAVE LANDINGS AT THE
 TOP AND THE BOTTOM OF EACH RAMP RUN. LANDINGS SHALL
 COMPLY WITH 405.7.
  
 1D) 05.7.3 LENGTH. THE LANDING CLEAR LENGTH SHALL BE 60
 INCHES (1525 MM) LONG MINIMUM.
  
 1E) 405.7.4 CHANGE IN DIRECTION. RAMPS THAT CHANGE
 DIRECTION BETWEEN RUNS AT LANDINGS SHALL HAVE A CLEAR

 202.4.1 DISPROPORTIONATE COST. ALTERATIONS MADE TO

 AREA WILL BE DEEMED DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE OVERALL
 ALTERATION WHEN THE COST EXCEEDS 20% OF THE COST OF THE
 ALTERATION TO THE PRIMARY FUNCTION AREA. COSTS THAT MAY
 BE COUNTED AS EXPENDITURES REQUIRED TO PROVIDE AN

 COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RELOCATING AN INACCESSIBLE
 DRINKING FOUNTAIN.
  
 202.4.2 ACCESSIBLE FEATURES IN THE EVENT OF
 DISPROPORTIONALITY. WHEN THE COST OF ALTERATIONS
 NECESSARY TO MAKE THE PATH OF TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED
 AREA FULLY ACCESSIBLE IS DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE COST
 OF THE OVERALL ALTERATION, THE PATH OF TRAVEL SHALL BE
 MADE ACCESSIBLE TO THE EXTENT THAT IT CAN BE MADE
 ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT INCURRING DISPROPORTIONATE COSTS. IN
 CHOOSING WHICH ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS TO PROVIDE, PRIORITY
 SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THOSE ELEMENTS THAT WILL PROVIDE THE
 GREATEST ACCESS, IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER: (I) AN
 ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE; (II) AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE

 FOUNTAINS; AND (VI) WHEN POSSIBLE, ADDITIONAL
 ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS SUCH AS PARKING, STORAGE, AND
 ALARMS.
  
 PLEASE MAKE A ITEMIZED LIST WHERE $25,000.00 DOLLARS OF
 ACCESSIBLE UPGRADES (20%) WILL BE MADE TO MAKE THE
 BUILDING ACCESSIBLE TO THE CURRENT 2010 ACCESSIBILITY
 CODE.
  
  
 5) 2010 FBC 107.3.4.1 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS
 WHICH ARE REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9N-03 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
