 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS AFTER MEETING WITH CONTRACTOR TO GO
 OVER COMMENTS.
  
 (1) EXISTING ROOF DRAINS ARE GOING TO BE REMOVED. NEED
 TO PROVIDE PLANS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE ROOF
 DRAINAGE SEC. 1503.4 OF 2010 FBC-BUILDING. ***NOTE:
 PERMIT OBTAINED BY THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO DO THE
 DAYCARE RENOVATION DOESN'T INCLUDE REMOVAL OF THE ROOF
 DRAINS AND DOESN'T INCLUDE THE STRUCTURAL ROOF REPAIRS.
 NEED TO PROVIDE COMPLETE DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS
 UNDER A REVISION TO PERMIT 13100594 OR PROVIDE COMPLETE
 INFORMATION UNDER SEPARATE BUILDING AND PLUMBING
 PERMITS.
  
  
 BELOW ARE THE ORIGINAL COMMENTS DATED 7/7/14:
  
  
 RE-ROOF BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS.
 CODE: 2010 FBC.
  
 1- TAS 105 FASTENER WITHDRAWAL TEST REPORT SUBMITTED:
 A) ROOF SKETCH SUBMITTED DOESN'T MATCH ACTUAL ROOF DECK
 SHOWN ON THE PROPERTY APPRAISAL WEBSITE. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC AND SEC.
 10.1.9 OF TAS 105-11.
  
 B) NEED AT LEAST 3 TESTS TO BE PERFORMED IN THE CORNER
 AREA AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 8.1 OF TAS 105-11. THE FIELD
 WITHDRAWAL RESISTANCE TEST RECORDING SHEET SHOWS ONLY
 TWO TEST DONE IN THE CORNER AREA. BUT, THE ROOF SKETCH
 SHOWING THE TEST LOCATIONS ONLY SHOW ONE TEST IN THE
 CORNER AREA (TEST T-2). ALSO, TEST #4 IS NOT IN A
 CORNER AREA. REVISE EVERYTHING AS REQUIRED TO MATCH.
  
 C) IF MORE THAN 25% OF THE ROOF SYSTEM IS TO BE
 RE-ROOF, THEN, ENTIRE ROOF NEEDS TO BE RE-ROOFED. SEC.
 611.1.1 OF 2010 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING CODE. ALSO,
 NUMBER OF PULL OUT TEST SHALL BE CONDUCTED ACCORDINGLY.
 SEC. 8 OF TAS 105-11.
  
 D) CONTRACTOR SPECIFIED ON PERMIT APPLICATION RE-ROOF
 WITH TAMKO PONDING WATER SPECS. TEST NEED TO IDENTIFY
 THE PONDING WATER LOCATIONS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 8.4 OF
 TAS 105-11.
  
 2) TAS 105 REPORT SHOWS AREAS WERE THE ROOF DECK IS
 BAD. NEED STRUCTURAL SUB-PERMIT TO PERFORM THE DECK
 REPAIRS. PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS/ SPECIFICATIONS FOR
 DECK REPAIRS. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
 CONTRACTOR DOING THE DECK REPAIRS TO HAVE PROPER
 LICENSE AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 489.113 FLORIDA STATUTES.
  
 3- RAS 117 CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED: ENGINEER TO REVISE
 THE SPACING OF THE NAILS AT THE SIDE LAP. NEED TO MATCH
 THE SPACING SHOWING ON OPTION #3 OF PAGE 11 OF THE NOA
 12-0716.14 SUBMITTED. REVISE CALCULATIONS ACCORDINGLY.
 THIS IS REQUIRED BY SEC. 8.1 OF RAS 117.
  
 4- ROOF NEEDS POSITIVE DRAINAGE AS REQUIRED BY
 EXCEPTION ON SEC. 611.1 OF 2010 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING
 CODE.
  
 ***NOTES:
 **** MOISTURE SURVEY TEST MAY BE REQUIRED. SEE ITEM
 1(D) ABOVE.
