 REVIEW COMMENTS.
 CODE: 2010 FBC.
  
 ***NOTE: THIS COMMENTS APPLY TO THE REAR BUILDING ONLY.
 FRONT BUILDING IS REVIEWED UNDER PERMIT #14061326.
  
 1- SCOPE OF WORK IS NOT CLEAR. PLANS SUBMITTED NOW ARE
 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT WAS REVIEWED THE FIRST
 TIME. PLANS SUBMITTED FOR THE FIRST REVIEW SHOWED A
 DWELLING UNIT WITH 2 NEW BEDROOMS, A LAUNDRY AREA
 CONNECTING TO THE "EXISTING BUILDING". NOW, PLANS ONLY
 SHOW A DETACHED OFFICE TO BE CONVERTED TO GARAGE. WHAT
 HAPPENED TO THE REST OF THE BUILDING?. IS THERE ANY
 WORK ON THE REAR DWELLING UNIT?. THERE ARE SOME PENDING
 VIOLATIONS ON THE REAR BUILDING THAT WERE NEVER
 ADDRESSED. REVISE PLANS AS REQUIRED. THE INTENTION IS
 TO REVOKE EXPIRED PERMIT APPLICATION 10110533 THAT WAS
 SUBMITTED TO ADDRESS PREVIOUS VIOLATIONS. PROVIDE PLANS
 WITH CLEAR SCOPE OF WORK AND REVISE SCOPE OF WORK ON
 THE PERMIT APPLICATION ACCORDINGLY. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 2- REVISE VALUATION ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION TO MATCH
 SCOPE OF WORK AS REQUESTED ON ITEM #1 ABOVE. SEC. 109.3
 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 3- PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS
 FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE GARAGE DOOR. SEC. R301.1 OF
 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 4- SHEET A-1:
 A) ENGINEER TO REVISE EXISTING BUILDING CODE EDITION
 SHOWN. THE CURRENT CODE IS THE 2010 NOT THE 2007. SEC.
 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 5- ENGINEER TO CLARIFY/REVISE THE "DESIGN DATA FOR WIND
 LOAD" INFORMATION. THE INFORMATION FOR THE WINDOWS AND
 DOORS DESIGN PRESSURES IS NOT CLEAR. WHY THE WINDOWS
 AND DOORS SAY INTERIOR ZONE PRESSURES WHILE THE GARAGE
 DOOR SAYS END ZONE PRESSURES? SEC. R301 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 6- CLEARLY IDENTIFY ON PLANS DOORS AND WINDOWS TO BE
 REPLACED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 7- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR SIZE AS SPECIFIED ON PLANS.
 B) ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS TO BE REPLACED.
  
 *** NOTE: THERE ARE SOME PRODUCT APRPOVALS SUBMITTED
 THAT ARE FOR ANOTHER PERMIT APPLICATION (#14060946).
 ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS WERE SENT TO R12 SHELF TO RIDE
 ALONG WITH THAT PERMIT APPLICATION.
  
 8- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1
 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 ** NOTE: PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH
 COMMENT TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
