 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) TWO SETS OF NEW PLANS THAT ARE DIFFERENT FROM THE
 ORIGINAL ONES, WITH A DIFFERENT SCOPE OF WORK AND A
 DIFFERENT DESIGN PROFESSIONAL (ENGINEER) WERE
 SUBMITTED. PLEASE CLARIFY THE INTENT OF THIS SUBMITTAL.
 IF THE WORK THAT WAS SPECIFIED ON THE PERMIT
 APPLICATION AND SHOWN ON THE FIRST SET OF DRAWINGS IS
 TO BE DONE, THEN SUBMIT PLANS FROM THE NEW DESIGNER OF
 RECORD THAT CLEARLY SHOWS THE TOTAL SCOPE OF THE
 PROPOSED WORK. INCLUDE THE STRUCTURAL REPAIR DETAILS,
 THE ADDITION AND THE NEW EXTERIOR DOORS & WINDOWS.
  
 2) THIS STRUCTURE'S FOOT PRINT AND LIVING AREA SQUARE
 FOOTAGE (420 SQFT) IN THE PALM BEACH COUNTY PROPERTY
 APPRAISER'S RECORDS DOES NOT MATCH WHAT IS SPECIFIED ON
 THE PLANS (1080 SQFT). THE CITY DOES NOT HAVE ANY
 RECORD OF THIS ADDITIONAL SQUARE FOOTAGE BEING ADDED.
 UPON COMPARISON IT APPEARS THAT THE UNFINISHED CARPORT
 AND STORAGE ROOM HAVE BEEN CONVERTED TO LIVING SPACE.
 THE PLANS WILL NEED TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE. FBC 107.2
  
 3) PROVIDE DIMENSIONS OF THE STRUCTURE AND THE ROOMS ON
 THE PLANS. FBC 107.2.1
  
 4) SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF A SURVEY AND SITE PLAN. SHOW
 LOCATIONS OF A STRUCTURES AND DISTANCES TO PROPERTY
 LINES. FBC 107.2.1.3
  
 5) THE ENERGY CALCULATION FORM IS REQUIRED TO BE SIGNED
 AND DATED BY THE OWNER/AGENT PER FBC ENERGY SECTION
 103.
  
 6) INDICATE ALL NEW OR REPLACED WINDOWS AND DOORS ON
 THE PLANS AND SPECIFY THEIR TYPES AND SIZES. CITY
 AMENDMENTS 107.2.1
  
 7) SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF STATE OR MIAMI-DADE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS FOR THE TRUSS ANCHORS, STRAPS AND CONNECTORS
 AS REQUIRED BY DCA RULE 9N-3. ALTERNATELY, THEY CAN BE
 LISTED ON THE PLANS IN AN ANCHOR SCHEDULE WITH THEIR
 FL# OR NOA NUMBER.
  
 8) THE PRODUCT APPROVALS ARE REQUIRED TO BE REVIEWED
 AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD. CITY
 AMENDMENTS 107.3.4.1
  
 9) THE DESIGN PRESSURES OF +62.9 PSF AND -68.3 PSF FOR
 THE WINDOWS AND DOORS SPECIFIED ON THE PLANS APPEAR TO
 BE HIGH FOR THIS STRUCTURE LOCATED IN EXPOSURE C WITH A
 170 VULT WINDSPEED. THIS COULD REQUIRE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS WITH HIGHER DESIGN PRESSURES FOR THE DOORS
 AND WINDOWS. FBC R301.2.1
  
 10) THE 2007 EDITION OF THE EXISTING BUILDING CODE IS
 INCORRECTLY SPECIFIED. THE 2010 FBC EXISTING BUILDING
 IS THE ONE THAT APPLIES.
  
 11) THE SCOPE OF WORK STATES TO BRING THE MAIN HOUSE UP
 TO THE 2010 NEC. THE 2008 NEC IS THE CORRECT REFERENCE.
 2010 FBC-R CHAPTER 43.
  
 12) THE VALUE FOR THE WORK IS SPECIFIED AS $8500.00,
 WHICH APPEARS TO BE LOW. PLEASE SUBMIT A COPY OF THE
 SIGNED CONTRACT. CITY AMENDMENTS 109.3
  
 13) AN IMPACT FEE REVIEW BY PALM BEACH COUNTY WILL BE
 REQUIRED FOR THE AREA THAT WAS CONVERTED TO LIVING
 SPACE.
  
 14) PRODUCT APPROVALS WERE SUBMITTED FOR ASPHALT ROOF
 SINGLES, HOWEVER ROOFING WAS NOT INDICATED ON THE
 PLANS. PLEASE CLARIFY. FBC 107.2.1
  
 15) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIME AND CLARIFY THE
 SCOPE OF THE PROJECT, PLEASE SUBMIT A RESPONSE LETTER
 INDICATING HOW EACH REVIEW COMMENT HAS BEEN ADDRESSED.
