| CURRENT PATH BY INSTALLATION IN A METAL RACEWAY SYSTEM |
| OR A CABLE HAVING A METALLIC ARMOR SHEATH ASSEMBLY. THE |
| METAL RACEWAY SYSTEM OR METALLIC CABLE ARMOR OR SHEATH |
| ASSEMBLY SHALL ITSELF QUALIFY AS AN EQUIPMENT GROUNDING |

| LEAST ONE CONTROL DEVICE TO INDEPENDENTLY CONTROL THE |
| GENERAL LIGHTING WITHIN THE SPACE. EACH MANUAL DEVICE |
| SHALL BE READILY ACCESSIBLE AND LOCATED SO THE |
| OCCUPANTS CAN SEE THE CONTROLLED LIGHTING. 505.2.1 |
| B) BUILDINGS LARGER THAN 5000SQ.FT. SHALL BE EQUIPPED |
| WITH AN AUTOMATIC CONTROL DEVICE TO SHUT OFF LIGHTING |
| IN THOSE AREAS. THIS AUTOMATIC CONTROL DEVICE SHALL |
| FUNCTION ON EITHER; |
| 1) A SCHEDULED BASIS, USING TIME OF DAY, WITH AN |
| INDEPENDENT PROGRAM SCHEDULE THAT CONTROLS THE INTERIOR |
| LIGHTING IN THE AREAS THAT DO NOT EXCEED 25000SQFT AND |
| ARE NOT MORE THAN ONE FLOOR; OR |
| 2) AN OCCUPANT SENSOR THAT SHALL TURN LIGHTING OFF |
| WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF AN OCCUPANT LEAVING A SPACE; OR |
| 3) A SIGNAL FROM ANOTHER CONTROL OR ALARM SYSTEM THAT |
| INDICATES THE AREA IS UNOCCUPIED. 505.2.2, |
| C) PROVIDE A LIGHTING DENSITY SUMMARY ON THE PLAN |
