 107.3.5.1 COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS:

 OCCUPANCY GROUP AND SPECIAL OCCUPANCY REQUIREMENTS
 SHALL BE DETERMINED.
 MINIMUM TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE DETERMINED (SEE
 TABLE 503).

 2A) THE PLANS INDICATE THE NEW RESTROOM PLUMBING GOING
 INTO A EXISTING FIRE WALL, THE TYPE OF OCCUPANCY NEEDS
 TO BE DECLARED TO KNOW WHAT RATING THE FIRE WALL NEEDS
 TO BE RATED. PLEASE CONFIRM IF THIS IS A PARTYWALL
 SHARED BY BOTH TENANTS OR IF THERE ARE TO TENANT
 SEPERATION WALLS BACK TO BACK. IF THIS IS A SHARED
 PARTYWALL THE PLUMBING WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE PUT INTHE
 PARTY WALL. FOR A TENANT SEPERATION WALL PLEASE SEE
 2010 FBC-B TABLES 602 EXTERIOR WALLS FIRE SEPERATION
 DISTANCE AND TABLE 706.4 FIRE WALL RATINGS DETERMINED
 BY OCCUPANCY GROUP. NOTE IF THE PLUMBING IS INSET INTO
 THE FIRE WALL, WHAT TYPE OF MATERIAL IS GOING TO BE
 USED TO BE INSTALLED TO COVER THE PIPES AND HAVE THE
 SAME RATING AS THE FIRE WALL.
  
 2B) 2010 FBC-B 706.8 FIREWALL OPENINGS.
 EACH OPENING THROUGH A FIRE WALL SHALL BE PROTECTED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 715.4 AND SHALL NOT EXCEED 156
 SQUARE FEET (15 M2). THE AGGREGATE WIDTH OF OPENINGS AT
 ANY FLOOR LEVEL SHALL NOT EXCEED 25 PERCENT OF THE
 LENGTH OF THE WALL.
 EXCEPTIONS:
 1. OPENINGS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN PARTY WALLS
 CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 706.1.1.
 2. OPENINGS SHALL NOT BE LIMITED TO 156 SQUARE FEET (15
 M2) WHERE BOTH BUILDINGS ARE EQUIPPED THROUGHOUT WITH
 AN AUTOMATIC
 SPRINKLER SYSTEM INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 903.3.1.1.
  
 2C) 706.9 FIREWALL PENETRATIONS. PENETRATIONS OF FIRE
 WALLS SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 713.
  
 2D) 2010 FBC-B 706.5.1 REQUIRES THERE TO BE NO
 PENETRATIONS OF THE ROOF WITHIN THE TOTAL LENGTH OF THE
 FIRE WALL, THE VENT WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE OFFSET. IN
 NEW CONSTRUCTION THE ROOF DECK WOULD HAVE BEEN EITHER
 FIRE RETARDANT TREATED PLYWOOD OR 5/8 INCH TYPE X
 DRYWALL BELOW THE ROOF DECK.
  
 2E) PLEASE PROVIDE WHAT TYPE OF FIRE RESISTANCE RATED
 ASSEMBLY WILL BE INSTALLED WHERE THE PIPES PENETRATE
 THE FIRE RATED WALL.

 3) PLEASE SEE ACCESSIBILITY DETAIL FLOOR PLAN INDICATES
 THE WATER CLOSET A MINIMUM OF 12 INCHES FROM WALL LINE.
 2010 FL ACCESSIBILITY CODE 604.2 LOCATION. THE WATER
 CLOSET SHALL BE POSITIONED WITH A WALL OR PARTITION TO
 THE REAR AND TO ONE SIDE. THE CENTERLINE OF THE WATER
 CLOSET SHALL BE 16 INCHES (405 MM) MINIMUM TO 18 INCHES
 (455 MM) MAXIMUM FROM THE SIDE WALL OR PARTITION,
 EXCEPT THAT THE WATER CLOSET SHALL BE 17 INCHES (430
 MM) MINIMUM AND 19 INCHES (485 MM) MAXIMUM FROM THE
 SIDE WALL OR PARTITION IN THE AMBULATORY ACCESSIBLE
 TOILET COMPARTMENT SPECIFIED IN 604.8.2. WATER CLOSETS
 SHALL BE ARRANGED FOR A LEFT-HAND OR RIGHT-HAND
