 13-0424.13 SUBMITTED. INFORMATION SUBMITTED ARE NOT RAS
 117 CALCULATIONS. SEC. 1609 OF 2010 FBC. ***NOTE:
 COORDINATE WITH ITEM #1(C) BELOW.
  
 B) CLARIFY WHY THE DESIGN PRESSURES FOR THE WOOD DECK
 ARE DONE BASED ON BUILDING EXPOSURE "D", WHILE THE
 DESIGN PRESSURES FOR THE STEEL DECK ARE DONE BASED ON
 BUILDING EXPOSURE "B". WHY TWO DIFFERENT BUILDING
 EXPOSURES ON THE SAME BUILDING?. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
 ***NOTE: ACCORDING TO SEC. 1609 THIS BUILDING IS
 LOCATED IN EXPOSURE"C".
  
 C) CAREFULLY READ THE SELECTED ASSEMBLY ON PAGE 14 OF
 NOA 13-0424.13 SUBMITTED. THIS ASSEMBLY REQUIRES THE
 INSULATION TO BE MECHANICALLY FASTENED. THE RAS 117
 CALCULATIONS APPLY TO THE INSULATION FASTENING.
 COORDINATE WITH ITEM #1(A) ABOVE. SEC. 1609 FBC.
  
  
 2- WOOD DECK:
 A)REVISE RAS 117 CALCULATIONS. BASE SHEET FASTENING
 DOESN'T WORK FOR ROOF ZONES # 2 AND #3 FOR THE
 CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES. PROVIDE THE RAS 117
 CALCULATIONS AND REVISE AS REQUIRED. COORDINATE WITH
 ITEM #1(B) ABOVE. SEC. 1609 FBC.
  
  
 3- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL, LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT, AND ALL DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES. SEC. 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
 VALUATION WAS UPDATED TO $84,760 FOR 13,000 S.F. OF
 ROOF AREA =/- . THE PERMIT FEE BALANCE IS $2115.39.
  
 ***NOTES: ANY ROOF EQUIPMENT REMOVAL OR RETROFIT ROOF
 DRAINS REQUIRE SEPARATE PERMITS.
