 REQUIRED BY SEC. 61G15-23.001 OF FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE
 CODE AND CHAPTER 471 FLORIDA STATUTE. CURRENT SEAL TO
 SAY "LICENSE" NOT CERTIFICATE".
  
 2- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) FRENCH DOORS. NOA 08-0312.12 SUBMITTED EXPIRED ON
 MAY 25, 2011. NEED TO PROVIDE CURRENT NOA.
  
 B) SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS. NOA 06-0705.02 SUBMITTED
 EXPIRED ON JULY 12, 2011. NEED TO PROVIDE CURRENT NOA.
  
 C) HURRICANE SHUTTERS FOR WINDOWS AND DOORS THAT DON'T
 HAVE IMPACT GLAZING.
  
 3- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL THE PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 OF CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 4- HURRICANE SHUTTERS: PROVIDE COMPLETE INSTALLATION
 SCHEDULE ( SEE CITY SAMPLE OF INSTALLATION SCHEDULE OR
 PROVIDE ANOTHER FORMAT THAT PROVIDES ALL THE
 INFORMATION).
 ***NOTE: CLEARLY IDENTIFY SPECIFIC MOUNTING CONDITIONS
 AND SPECIFIC ANCHOR TYPE AND SPACING TO BE USED. SEC.
 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 5- SHEET C-1:
 A) THE CURRENT CODE IS THE 2010 FBC, NOT THE 2007 FBC.
 REVISE AL THE INFORMATION ON PLANS THAT IS REFERENCING
 THE 2007 FBC.
  
 B) SPECIFY THE WIND DESIGN LOADS: ULTIMATE WIND SPEED
 AND THE NOMINAL WIND SPEED AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 R301.2.1.3 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 C) SPECIFY THE BUILDING EXPOSURE. ACCORDING TO SEC.
 R301.2.1.4.3 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, THIS BUILDING IS
 LOCATED IN EXPOSURE "C" NOT "B". COORDINATE WITH ITEM
 #7 BELOW.
  
 6- SHEET A-2:
 A) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS FOR THE
 BEDROOM AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R310 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. (NOTE: SHEET A-1 SHOWS EXISTING
 BEDROOM, THERE ARE NO PERMITS ON CITY RECORDS FOR THE
 CONVERSION).
  
 B) PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH THE HEATING REQUIREMENTS OF
 SEC. R303.8 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 C) PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING DETAILS FOR THE NEW
 EXTERIOR OPENINGS, INCLUDING THE NEW DOUBLE FRENCH
 DOORS. SEC. R301.1.
  
 D) SPECIFY OPENINGS VERTICAL REINFORCEMENT AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. R609.3.2.
  
 E)REVISE EXTERIOR FRENCH DOORS NOTE #2. CURRENT ASCE IS
 ASCE 7-10 NOT ASCE 7-05. ALSO, REVISE THE WIND SPEED,
 EXPOSURE AND THE OPENINGS DESIGN PRESSURES. COORDINATE
 WITH ITEM # 5 ABOVE.
 ***NOTE: SAME COMMENT APPLIES TO WINDOWS NOTES. REVISE
 AS REQUIRED.
  
 7- AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD.) TO VERIFY IF IMPACT FEES ARE
 DUE. THEN, BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF
 PAID RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. REQUIRED BY THE COUNTY
 IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE OF THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT
 CODE.
  
 8- SCOPE OF WORK IS TO CONVERT GARAGE TO LIVING SPACE,
 NOT TO REPLACE WINDOWS/DOORS AND MOVE BATHROOM
 LOCATION. VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION
 IS TOO LOW. UPDATE VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR,
 MATERIALS, CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD/ PROFIT AND ALL DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 OF CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 ***NOTES:

 COMMENT TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
