 1) THE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR THE TRULITE SINGLE HUNG
 WINDOWS (NOA NO.12-0118.16) EXPIRED IN 2012. SUBMIT A
 CURRENT PRODUCT APPROVAL THAT HAS BEEN APPROVED BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD. DCA RULE 9N-3 AND CITY AMENDMENTS

 2) SPECIFY WHICH ONE OF THE APPROVED ASSEMBLIES FROM
 THE GAF SELF-ADHERING ROOFING SYSTEM (NOA NO.
 14-0102.12) WILL BE USED. SPECIFY THE FASTENING OPTION
 AND MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURE FOR THE SYSTEM. SUBMIT TWO
 SETS OF SIGNED AND SEALED RAS 117 CALCULATIONS FOR
 ENHANCED FASTENING AT THE CORNER AND PERIMETER AREAS IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH LIMITATION NUMBER 7 OF THE NOA. FBCR

 3) CLARIFY WHERE THE MTS 20 STRAPS SPECIFIED ON PAGE 6
 ARE TO BE USED. THE WALL SECTION ON PAGE 3 SHOWS A
 SIMPSON H10 CONNECTOR AT EACH RAFTER. CITY AMENDMENTS

 4) THE FASTENERS THAT ARE SPECIFIED FOR THE MTS 20
 STRAPS ARE INCORRECT. TAPCONS ARE NOT APPROVED
 FASTENERS FOR SIMPSON CONNECTORS. THEY REQUIRE TITAN
 MASONRY SCREWS. THE MTS 20 REQUIRES (7) 10D X 1-1/2"
 INTO THE TRUSS AND (7) 10D X 1-1/2" INTO THE WALL PLATE
 FOR A TOTAL OF 14 FASTENERS FOR WOOD TO WOOD
 CONNECTIONS. YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION
 FROM SIMPSON IF YOU WISH TO MODIFY THE INTENDED AND
 TESTED USE OR FASTENERS. FBCR 301.1 AND DCA RULE 9N-3
  
 5) PLEASE CLARIFY THE ENHANCED NAILING PATTERN FOR
 ROOFING NOTE ON PAGE 6. IF THIS IS INTENDED FOR THE
 BASE SHEET ATTACHMENT OF THE GAF SELF-ADHERING ROOFING
 SYSTEM (NOA NO. 14-0102.12), IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. RAS
 117 CALCULATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THAT AS STATED ABOVE.

 6) THE VALUE OF THE WORK ON THE APPLICATION IS
 $2000.00. THIS IS TOO LOW. INCLUDE THE VALUE OF ALL THE
 WORK DONE WITHOUT PERMITS, ALL OF THE PROPOSED WORK
 INCLUDING LABOR, MATERIALS, COST, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT.

 7) IN ORDER TO SPEED THE REVIEW PROCESS, PLEASE SUBMIT
 A RESPONSE LETTER INDICATING HOW EACH OF THE REVIEW
 COMMENTS WAS ADDRESSED.
