 1) SHEET A1 DETAILS, THE LOWER LEFT SMALL DETAIL
 INDICATES THE STEEL STUD AT 16 GAUGE, THE UPPER RIGHT
 LARGER DETAIL INDICATES 20 GAUGE STEEL STUDS AND THE
 LOWER RIGHT ALSO INDICATES THE USE OF 20 GAUGE STEEL
 STUDS. PLEASE CORRECT THE DISCREPANCY, PLEASE PROVIDE
 IF 20 GAUGE STEEL STUDS TYPE STRUCTURAL 33 MILLS
 THICKNESS OR 20 GAUGE DRYWALL 30 MILLS THICK. 107.2.1.3
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED.
  
 2) THE WAY THE LOWER RIGHT DETAIL IS DRAWN THE 1/2"
 ALLTHREAD IS PENETRATES A HORIZONTAL 2X6 SYP AND A NUT
 ON THE BOTTOM. THE WAY IT IS DETAILED IT APPEARS TO BE
 BLOCKING BETWEEN THE 3 5/8" STEEL STUDS JUST AS
 DEPICTED ON THE VERTICAL FRAMING AS BACKING. IT WOULD
 APPEAR THIS DETAIL NEEDS TO CLARIFY IF THE 2-X6 ARE
 FRAMING MEMBERS (PURLINS) THAT WOULD BE BELOW THE
 HORIZONTAL STEEL STUDS CARRYING THE STEEL STUDS?
 107.2.1.3. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 3) PLEASE PROVIDE IN WHICH WAY THE BAR JOIST ARE
 RUNNING, IT WOULD APPEAR THEY ARE PARRALLEL TO THE
 HORIZONTAL 3 5/8 INCH STEEL STUDS, ALSO PROVIDE AT WHAT
 SPACING THE BAR JOIST ARE APART, ASSUMED 5'-0" O.C. THE
 PLANS ARE NOT CLEAR AS TO IF THE WIDTH OF THE DROPPED
 SOFFIT, IT APPEARS TO BE APPROXIMATELY 16'-0" IN DEPTH,
 WOULD THERE BE 5 VERTICAL 1/2" ALLTHREADS FASTENED
 THROUGH THE SAME BAR JOIST? HAS THE ADDITIONAL LOADING
 BEEN FIGURED INTO THE CARRYING CAPACITY OF THE BAR
 JOIST?
  
 4) THE BOTTOM RIGHT DETAIL PLEASE PROVIDE AS TO THE
 FINISH MATERIALS TO BE APPLIED TO THE DROPPED SOFFIT,
 THERE APPEARS TO BE TWO DIFFERNT TYPE OF MATERIALS,
 TYPE NOR THICKNESS HAS NOT BEEN ESTABLISHED ON THE
 PLANS. 107.2.1.3 ADITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
 ALSO REFER TO 2010 FBC-B 802.11.2. SET OUT
 CONSTRUCTION.

 WHERE WALLS AND CEILINGS ARE REQUIRED TO BE OF
 FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED OR NONCOMBUSTIBLE CONSTRUCTION
 AND WALLS ARE SET OUT OR CEILINGS ARE DROPPED DISTANCES
 GREATER THAN SPECIFIED IN SECTION 803.11.1, CLASS A
 FINISH MATERIALS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 803.1.1 OR
 803.1.2, SHALL BE USED EXCEPT WHERE INTERIOR FINISH
 MATERIALS ARE PROTECTED ON BOTH SIDES BY AN AUTOMATIC
 SPRINKLER SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 903.3.1.1
 OR 903.3.1.2, OR ATTACHED TO NONCOMBUSTIBLE BACKING OR
 FURRING STRIPS INSTALLED AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION
 803.11.1. THE HANGERS AND ASSEMBLY MEMBERS OF SUCH
 DROPPED CEILINGS THAT ARE BELOW THE MAIN CEILING LINE
 SHALL BE OF NONCOMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS, EXCEPT THAT IN
 TYPES III AND V CONSTRUCTION, FIRE-RETARDANT-TREATED
 WOOD SHALL BE PERMITTED. THE CONSTRUCTION OF EACH
 SET-OUT WALL SHALL BE OF FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED
 CONSTRUCTION AS REQUIRED ELSEWHERE IN THIS CODE.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE AT WHAT PORTION OF THIS SOFFIT AND
 DROPPED CEILING ARE EXISTING AND WHAT PORTION IS TO BE
 CONSIDERED NEW WORK, THE VALUE OF THE WORK IS DECLARED
 AT $2499.00 DOLLARS, THIS VALUE MAY APPEAR TO BE LOW,
 OWNERS SIGNATURE AS WELL AS CONTRACTOR MAY BE REQUIRED
 AND NOTIRIZED.
