 GENERAL COMMENTS
  
 1) PLEASE PROVIDE CLARITY AS TO THE SPECIFIC WAY THE
 VERTICAL BUILDING SIGNS WILL BE MOUNTED TO THE WALLS.
 SOME OF THE DRAWINGS FOR SIGN 1 APPEAR TO HAVE IT
 MOUNTED ON THE SOUTH FACADE OF THE BUILDING INSTEAD OF
 THE EAST FACADE. SIGN 2 APPEARS TO BE MOUNTED OUT FROM
 THE CORNER OF THE BUILDING IN SOME DRAWINGS, BUT
 MOUNTED PERPENDICULAR TO THE WALLS IN OTHERS. PLEASE
 PROVIDE A PLAN VIEW OF BOTH SIGNS TO SHOW THEIR EXACT
 ORIENTATION. PLEASE INCLUDE THE ADJACENT FEATURES, SUCH
 AS THE BALCONY FOR SIGN 1.
  
 2) THE FLOOR PLAN AND ELEVATION DRAWINGS INCORRECTLY
 SHOW 339 FEET OF FRONTAGE. THE RECESSED SOUTHERN AREA
 MAY NOT BE COUNTED AS FRONTAGE SINCE THE KITCHEN AREA
 DOES NOT DIRECTLY FRONT ON THE EAST FACADE. IT IS
 BLOCKED BY THE ELEVATOR AND STAIRWAY FOR THE UPPER
 FLOORS TO 477 S. ROSEMARY AVENUE. PLEASE PROVIDE
 REVISED CALCULATIONS TO THE EDGE OF THE COVERED PATIO.
 WHILE IT APPEARS THAT THE FRONTAGE WILL STILL BE IN
 EXCESS OF 273.32 LINEAR FEET (SIZE OF BOTH VERTICAL
 BUILDING SIGNS) STAFF REQUIRES THE CORRECT DIMENSION TO
 APPROVE THE PERMIT.
  
 PERMITTED EAST EXTERIOR ARCADE FACADE ?
 PROPOSED VERTICAL BUILDING SIGNS (136.66 SQ. FT. X 2):
 273.32 SQ. FT.
  
 PERMITTED EAST INTERIOR ARCADE FACADE ?
 PROPOSED R SIGN: 31.41 SQ. FT.
  
 3) VERTICAL BUILDING SIGNS
  
 A. THE CITYPLACE MASTER SIGN PLAN PROHIBITS VISIBLE
 EXPOSED BULBS. THE SIGNED AND SEALED ENGINEER DRAWINGS
 SHOW A CLEAR PLEXIGLAS COVER ON THE SIDE AND BOTTOM
 BULBS, BUT NOT THE TOP. THE SIGN DRAWINGS SHOW NO COVER
 ON THE BULBS.
  
 B. THE RENDERING FOR SIGN 1 IS INCORRECT. IT ACUTALLY
 APPEARS TO BE A RENDERING OF SIGN 2, YET THE WINDOWS
 ARE NOT SHOWN CORRECTLY SO IT IS DIFFICULT FOR STAFF TO
 DETERMINE. IT IS DEFINATELY NOT SIGN 1 LOCATION.
