 1) IT IS UNCLEAR WHAT THE SCOPE OF WORK IS FOR THIS
 PERMIT. THE EXISTING CONDITIONS AND DEMOLITION PLAN
 SHOW FEATURES REMAINING THAT ARE NOT SHOWN ON THE OTHER
 PLANS. THE APPLICATION IS FOR "INTERIOR REMIX AND
 RENOVATION, EXTERIOR RENOVATION". THE CITY DOES NOT
 PERMIT ALL OF THE WORK DESCRIBED, INCLUDING THE SITE
 WORK, PARKING, FENCING AND LANDSCAPING PLANS, ON THE
 SAME PERMIT AS THE WORK ON THE BUILDINGS. SEPARATE
 PERMITS WITH PLANS, EACH WITH THE VALUE OF THE WORK
 APPLIED SEPARATELY, ARE REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING:
  
 A. PARKING LOT, TO INCLUDE THE STRIPING.
 B. LANDSCAPE WORK. NOTE ANY TREE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION
 REQUIRES A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT.
 C. SIGNAGE
 D. FENCES AND GATES.
 E. TRASH ENCLOSURES.
 F. IRRIGATION.
  
 2) THE PERMITS FOR EXTERIOR WORK WILL REQUIRE THE
 SUBMITTAL OF TWO COPIES OF A RECENT SIGNED AND SEALED
 SURVEY, LESS THAN ONE YEAR OLD, SHOWING THE EXTERIOR
 FEATURES ON THE SITE.
  
 3) THIS PROPERTY IS ZONED COMMERCIAL PLANNED
 DEVELOPMENT, SO ANY CHANGES TO THE EXTERIOR OF THE SITE
 REQUIRE A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT. WHILE AN
 AMENDMENT WAS FILED ON FEBRUARY 28, 2013, NONE OF THE
 COMMENTS ISSUED AT THE TIME WERE ADDRESSED. THIS PERMIT
 APPEARS TO SHOW DIFFERENT CONDITIONS FROM THE PLAN AT
 THE TIME OF THE AMENDMENT APPLICATION.
  
 4) THE PORTION OF THE PARKING LOT ALONG THE SOUTH
 PROPERTY LINE WHERE PAVEMENT IS BEING REMOVED WITHIN
 THE FIVE (5) FOOT WIDE LANDSCAPE BUFFER AREA MAY NOT BE
 FILLED IN WITH PAVEMENT, BUT RATHER SHALL COMPLY WITH
 THE CITY'S LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS.
  
 5) THE PAVING AND GRADING PLAN SHOWS AREAS OF THE
 PARKING LOT PROPOSED FOR MILLING AND OVERLAY. PLEASE
 CLEARLY DESIGNATE THESE AREAS ON THE PLANS. THESE AREAS
 ARE CONSIDERED NEW PARKING LOTS AND SHALL HAVE ALL THE
 REQUIRED LANDSCAPE INSTALLED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 ZONING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS. PLEASE NOTE
 THAT ANY AREAS WHERE THE PARKING LOT IS MODIFIED, TO
 INCLUDE THE NORTHWEST AREA REQUIRES LANDSCAPE
 COMPLIANCE AS WELL. THE LANDSCAPE PLAN SHALL VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE BY GRAPHIC AND TABULAR MEANS, NOT JUST
 "EXISTING LANDSCAPE TO REMAIN". THE LANDSCAPE PLAN WILL
 BE FULLY REVIEWED AS PART OF THE REQUIRED LANDSCAPE
 PERMIT.
  
 6) THE GENERAL NOTES ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN REFER TO
 APPROVALS FROM NEW SMYRNA BEACH WHICH IS THE INCORRECT
 JURISDICTION.
  
 7) THE PARKING TABLE SHOWS THE CORRECT PARKING
 REQUIREMENTS, BUT THE PARKING HAS BEEN INCORRECTLY
 CALCULATED. PROVIDE A BREAKDOWN OF THE WAREHOUSE AND
 OFFICE SPACE ON THE PLANS..
  
 9) THE PARKING SPACE STRIPING DETAIL DOES NOT COMPLY
 WITH THE CITY STANDARDS. THERE SHALL BE TWO (2) FEET
 FROM THE BACK OF THE WHEEL STOP TO THE END OF THE
 PARKING SPACE. ADDITIONALLY, THE CITY REQUIRES THAT THE
 PARKING LOT STRIPES SHALL BE FOUR (4) INCHES WIDE AND
 SEPARATED BY 12 INCHES. THIS SHALL BE SHOW ON THE
 PARKING STRIPING DETAIL.
  
 10) THE PLANS SHOW SABAL PALMS USED AS A PARKING LOT
 ISLAND TREE, WHICH REQUIRES A GROUPING OF THREE PALM
 TREES, NOT TWO PALM TREES.
  
 11) THE TREE PLANTING DIAGRAM SHALL CLEARLY INDICATE
 THAT THE TOP OF THE ROOTBALL SHALL BE ABOVE THE
 FINISHED GRADE.
  
 12) THE TRASH ENCLOSURES DOES NOT COMPLY WITH THE
 CITY'S STANDARD DEPTH. PLEASE VERIFY THE ENCLOSURE SIZE
 WITH THE CITY'S SANITATION DIVISION.
  
 13) THE TRASH ENCLOSURE SHALL HAVE THE OPAQUE PANELS ON
 THE GATE.
