 SINGLE EXIT FROM THE FRONT SET OF STAIRS. FBC-B TABLE
 1021.2 STORIES WITH ONE- EXIT TRAVEL DISTANCE LIMIT 75
 FEET. THE COURTYARD WILL NEED TO LEED TO A PUBLIC WAY.
 AT THE JOBSITE VISIT THE CONTRACTOR AND OWNER INDICATED
 ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE BUILDING WHERE THEY WERE GOING
 TO OPEN FRONTAGE TO CLEMATIS ST FOR THE SECOND MEANS OF
 EGRESS TO THE PUBLIC WAY, ALSO REVIEW FBC-B 1027.5
 EGRESS COURT REQUIREMENTS. PLEASE PROVIDE A SITE PLAN
 WITH THE EGRESS FOR THE BACK EXTERIOR STAIR THRU THE
 COURTYARD LEADING TO THE PUBLIC WAY.

 THE SECOND ISSUE WHEN THE EGRESS FROM THE COURTYARD TO
 THE PUBLIC WAY OCCURS IS THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE TOP
 OF THE 2 STAIRWAYS IS NOT 1/2 THE OF THE LENGTH OF THE
 MAXIMUM OVERALL DIAGONAL DIMENSION OF THE BUILDING OR
 AREA TO BE SERVED MEASURED IN A STRAIGHT LINE BETWEEN
 DIAGONAL DISTANCE PER FBC-B 1015.2.1. NOTE WHEN YOU
 FIGURE THE OVERALL DIAGONAL OF THE BUILDING WITHOUT THE
 TERRRACE WE ARE WITHIN ONE FOOT OF COMPLIANCE. AT SOME
 TIME SOMEONE HAS CUT IN A EXTERIOR DOORWAY AND CREATED
 A ROOF TOP TERRACE MAKING THE OVER ALL DIAGONAL
 DISTANCE A GREATER DISTANCE FOR THE STAIRS TO BE APART,
 AND NOT CODE COMPLIANT.
  
 EVEN IF YOU LOOK AT UNIT 203 THE FURTHEST POINT ON THE
 TERRACE THE TRAVEL DISTANCE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIRS
 IS OVER 75 FEET. THE FURTHEST DISTANCE FROM THE
 FURTHEST POINT ON THE TERRACE TO THE TOP LANDING AT THE
 BACK STAIR IS APPROX. 68 FEET, OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WILL APPROVE THIS DISTANCE BUT
 THE BATHROOM WINDOW IN UNIT DOES NEED TO BE 3/4 HOUR
 FIRE RATED, IT IS WITHIN 10 FEET OF THE EXTERIOR STAIR,
 FBC-B 1026.6 AND THE EXTERIOR DOOR WILL NEED TO BE 1
 HOUR FIRE RATED.
  
 3) LIFE SAFETY PLAN SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
