 1) 2010 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3
 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS,
 SYSTEMS, AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS
 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 2) THE REVISION INDICATES THE 2 HR RATED OCCUPANCY
 SEPERATION WALL ONLY GOING TO THE CEILING SEE DETAIL
 U498 AS WELL AS FLOOR PLAN. 2010 FBC-B 439.2 SEPARATION
 WALLS. WALLS SEPARATING DWELLING UNITS IN THE SAME
 BUILDING, WALLS SEPARATING SLEEPING UNITS IN THE SAME
 BUILDING AND WALLS SEPARATING DWELLING OR SLEEPING
 UNITS FROM OTHER OCCUPANCIES CONTIGUOUS TO THEM IN THE
 SAME BUILDING SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED AS FIRE PARTITIONS
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 709.
  
 2010 FBC-B 709.4 CONTINUITY. FIRE PARTITIONS SHALL
 EXTEND FROM THE TOP OF THE FOUNDATION OR FLOOR/CEILING
 ASSEMBLY BELOW TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE FLOOR OR ROOF
 SHEATHING, SLAB OR DECK ABOVE OR TO THE
 FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED FLOOR/CEILING OR ROOF/CEILING
 ASSEMBLY ABOVE, AND SHALL BE SECURELY ATTACHED THERETO.
 IF THE PARTITIONS ARE NOT CONTINUOUS TO THE SHEATHING,
 DECK OR SLAB, AND WHERE CONSTRUCTED OF COMBUSTIBLE
 CONSTRUCTION, THE SPACE BETWEEN THE CEILING AND THE
 SHEATHING, DECK OR SLAB ABOVE SHALL BE FIREBLOCKED OR
 DRAFTSTOPPED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS 717.2 AND
 717.3 AT THE PARTITION LINE. THE SUPPORTING
 CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE PROTECTED TO AFFORD THE REQUIRED
 FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING OF THE WALL SUPPORTED, EXCEPT
 FOR WALLS SEPARATING TENANT SPACES IN COVERED MALL
 BUILDINGS, WALLS SEPARATING DWELLING UNITS, WALLS
 SEPARATING SLEEPING UNITS AND CORRIDOR WALLS, IN
 BUILDINGS OF TYPE IIB, IIIB AND VB CONSTRUCTION. ALSO
 SEE EXCEPTION # 5.
  
 3A) THE OTHER ISSUE IS THE LAUNDRY FIRE BARRIER 2010
 FBC-B TABLE 508.2.5 REQUIRES ONLY A ONE HOUR FIRE
 RATING BETWEEN AN INCIDENTIAL ACCESSORY OCCUPANCY IT IS
 ODD THAT A BUSINESS OCCUPANCY REQUIRES A 2 HR OCCUPANCY
 SEPERATION WHERE AS THE LAUNDRY ROOM ONLY REQUIRES ONE,
 IT APPEARS A GREATER FIRE RISK IS IN THEBUSINESS
 OCCUPANCY THAN THE LAUNDRY WHERE THERE IS A GREATER
 RISK OF FIRE WITH THE LENT AND ASSOCIATED ELECTRIC,
  
 3B) SINCE THE ONE HOUR FIRE BARRIER IS TO EXTEND TO THE
 ROOF DECK ABOVE (2010 FBC-B 707.5) PLEASE PROVIDE HOW
 THE RIDGE VENTING FOR BOTH THE LAUNDRY AND THE R-2
 RESIDENCY WILL BE INSTALLED AND ACHIEVE CODE
 COMPLIANCE?
  
 3C) PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH 2010 FBC-B 707.8
 JOINTS. JOINTS MADE IN OR BETWEEN FIRE BARRIERS, AND
 JOINTS MADE AT THE INTERSECTION OF FIRE BARRIERS WITH
 UNDERSIDE OF THE FLOOR OR ROOF SHEATHING, SLAB OR DECK
 ABOVE, SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 714.
  
 3D) PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION, WITH THE
 LAUNDRY AREA AND R2 LIVING ROOM IT IS ASSUMED THIS IS A
 ONE STORY PORTION OF THE BUILDING, PLEASE PROVIDE WHAT
 IS ABOVE THE R2 BEDROOM 102 AND SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 2010 FBC-B 707.3.9. FIRE AREAS- HORIZONTAL ASSEMBLIES.
