 CODE: 2010 FBC.
  
 1- ENGINEER TO USE CURRENT SEAL AS REQUIRED BY CHAPTER
 471 FLORIDA STATUTE. SEAL THAT SAYS "CERTIFICATE"
 INSTEAD OF "LICENSE" IS NOT ALLOWED SINCE 2006. AND,
 CLARIFY WHY THERE IS AN EXPIRATION DATE OF 2/28/13
 BELOW THE ENGINEER'S LICENSE NUMBER?.
  
 2- AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD.) TO VERIFY IF IMPACT FEES ARE
 DUE. BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID
 RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. REQUIRED BY THE COUNTY IMPACT
 FEE ORDINANCE OF THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
  
 3- SPECIFY SIZE AND TYPE OF WINDOW ON BEDROOM TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH EGRESS REQUIREMENTS. SEC. R310 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 4- PROVIDE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS SHOWING HOW
 OBTAINING R-15 VALUE IN THE CONCRETE BLOCK WALLS AND
 R-30 VALUE IN THE FLAT CEILING AS SHOWN ON THE A/C
 EQUIPMENT SIZING CALCULATIONS. AND, COORDINATE THE
 EQUIPMENT SIZING CALCULATIONS INFORMATION WITH THE
 INFORMATION GIVEN IN THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS. SEC.
 405.4.3 OF 2010 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 5- ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED;
  
 A) COORDINATE THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS WITH THE
 EQUIPMENT SIZING CALCULATIONS (SEE A/C COMMENTS) AND
 FLOOR PLANS SUBMITTED. SEC. 103.2.2 OF 2010 FBC-ENERGY
 CONSERVATION.
  
 B) OWNER/AGENT TO SIGN AND DATE BOTTOM OF FORM. SEC.
 103.2.3.2 OF 2010 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 C) REVISE ROOF TYPE. ADDITION IS A FLAT ROOF NOT
 SHINGLES. SEC. 103.2.2 OF 2010 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 D) REVISE THE NAME OF THE BUILDER. SEE PERMIT
 APPLICATION. AND COMPLETE ALL THE INFORMATION ON TOP OF
 FORM, INCLUDING THE OWNER'S NAME. SEC. 103.2.1.1.2 OF
 2010 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 6- ENGINEER TO SPECIFY THE DESIGN PRESSURES FOR DOORS
 AND WINDOWS. ***NOTE; ACCORDING TO SEC. R301.2.1.4.3 OF
 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL THIS BUILDING IS LOCATED IN
 EXPOSURE "C".
  
 7- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) WINDOWS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 B) HURRICANE SHUTTERS IF WINDOWS DON'T HAVE HURRICANE
 IMPACT GLAZING AND FOR FRENCH DOORS (FRENCH DOORS NOA
 09-0608.16 SUBMITTED IS FOR NON-IMPACT DOOR).
  
 8- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 9- PROVIDE HURRICANE SHUTTERS COMPLETE INSTALLATION
 SCHEDULE (SEE SHUTTERS INSTALLATION SCHEDULE SAMPLE ON
 THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH WEBSITE). SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 10- PROVIDE MANUFACTURER'S INFORMATION FOR DOORS AND
 WINDOWS U-FACTOR AND SHGC FACTOR AS SPECIFIED ON ITEM
 #7 OF THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED. SEC. 103.2.2
 OF 2010 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 11- DRAWING SUBMITTED SHOW TWO EXISTING COLUMNS IN THE
 "GARAGE FLOOR RAISED" PLAN. WHERE ARE THESE COLUMNS ON
 THE "GARAGE FLOOR PLAN CONVERSION" PLAN?. WHERE THEY
 REMOVED?. IF SO, HOW WAS THE STRUCTURE REINFORCED TO
 TRANSFER THE LOADS. SEC. 301.1 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 12- VALUE DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. SEC. 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC. VALUE TO
 INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND
 PROFIT AND PROFESSIONAL DESIGN FEES. REVISE VALUE AS
 REQUIRED.
