 FIRE SPRINKLERED, NOT PROVIDED, ASSUMED FOR THIS PLAN
 REVIEW, NON-SPRINKLERED.
  
 1) SHEET A1.1: THE CONTRACTOR WILL NEED TO UPDATE THE
 EXISSTING PERMIT APPLICATION AND APPLY FOR A SECOND
 PERMIT APPLICATION. THE PLANS INDICATE THE SPLITING OF
 A SINGLE TENANT SPACE INTO TWO INDIVUAL TENANT SPECES
 BY CREATING A TENANT SEPERATION WALL. THE CURRENT
 PERMIT APPLICATION UNDER THE DESCRIPTION OF WORK ONLY
 LIST A DEMISSING WALL. THE PLANS REFLECT ALSO THE
 CREATION OF TWO RESTROOMS, ONE IN EACH TENANT SPACE.
 NOTE THE VALLUE FOR THE NEW TENANT SEPERATION WALL, 2
 NEW RESTROOM WALLS, AND THE OUTFITTING OF RESTROOMS IS
 ONLY $1,500.00.

 MATERIALS, WHERE QUALITY IS ESSENTIAL TO CONFORMITY
 WITH THE TECHNICAL CODES. SUCH INFORMATION SHALL BE
 SPECIFIC, AND THE TECHNICAL CODES SHALL NOT BE CITED AS

 ROOF/CEILING ASSEMBLY ABOVE, AND SHALL BE SECURELY
 ATTACHED THERETO. IF THE PARTITIONS ARE NOT CONTINUOUS
 TO THE SHEATHING, DECK OR SLAB, AND WHERE CONSTRUCTED
 OF COMBUSTIBLE CONSTRUCTION, THE SPACE BETWEEN THE

 SECTION 713.
 713.3.1 THROUGH PENETRATIONS.
 THROUGH PENETRATIONS OF FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED WALLS
 SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 713.3.1.1 OR 713.3.1.2.
 713.3.1.1 FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED ASSEMBLIES.
 PENETRATIONS SHALL BE INSTALLED AS TESTED IN AN
 APPROVED FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED ASSEMBLY.
  
 713.3.1.2 THROUGH-PENETRATION FIRESTOP SYSTEM.
 THROUGH PENETRATIONS SHALL BE PROTECTED BY AN APPROVED
 PENETRATION FIRESTOP SYSTEM INSTALLED AS TESTED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 814 OR UL 1479, WITH A MINIMUM
 POSITIVE PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL OF 0.01 INCH (2.49 PA)
 OF WATER AND SHALL HAVE AN F RATING OF NOT LESS THAN
 THE REQUIRED FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING OF THE WALL
 PENETRATED.

 FIRE WALLS, FIRE BARRIERS, FIRE PARTITIONS, SMOKE
 BARRIERS AND SMOKE PARTITIONS OR ANY OTHER WALL
 REQUIRED TO HAVE PROTECTED OPENINGS SHALL BE
 EFFECTIVELY AND PERMANENTLY IDENTIFIED WITH SIGNS OR
 STENCILING IN A MANNER ACCEPTABLE TO THE AUTHORITY
 HAVING JURISDICTION. SUCH IDENTIFICATION SHALL BE ABOVE
 ANY DECORATIVE CEILING AND IN CONCEALED SPACES.
 SUGGESTED WORDING FOR FIRE AND SMOKE BARRIERS: ?FIRE
 AND SMOKE BARRIER ? PROTECT ALL OPENINGS.?
