 BUSINESS TO DAYCARE, PLEASE SEE 2010 EXISTING BUILDING
 CODE 901.3.1 PARTIAL CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION.
 WHERE A PORTION OF AN EXISTING BUILDING IS CHANGED TO A
 NEW OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION, SECTION 912 SHALL APPLY.
  
 1A) EXST BLDG CODE 912.1.1.2 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION WITH SEPARATION. WHERE A PORTION OF AN
 EXISTING BUILDING THAT IS CHANGED TO A NEW OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION AND THAT PORTION IS SEPARATED FROM THE
 REMAINDER OF THE BUILDING WITH FIRE BARRIERS HAVING A
 FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING AS REQUIRED IN THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING FOR THE SEPARATE OCCUPANCY,
 THAT PORTION SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL THE REQUIREMENTS OF
 CHAPTER 8 FOR THE NEW OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION AND WITH
 THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS CHAPTER.
  
 THE ADJACENT TENANTS ARE EITHER A BUSINESS OR
 MERCANTILE OCCUPANCY THAT ONLY REQUIRE A ONE HOUR FIRE
 SEPERATION BETWEEN OCCUPANCIES, PLEAS PROVIDE THE
 FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
 IS THIS BUILDING FIRE SPRINKLERED?
 PROVIDE THE WALL SECTION AS TO WHAT TYPE OF WALL IS
 THERE NOW A ONE HOUR RATED WALL OR A TWO HOUR RATED
 WALL. IF WALL IS ONLY ONE HOUR RATED PLEASE PROVIDE A
 WALL ASSEMBLY DETAIL FROM A RECONIZED NATIONAL TESTING

 UNDERGOING A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION SHALL
 COMPLY WITH SECTION 912.8. 912.8 ACCESSIBILITY.
 EXISTING BUILDINGS THAT UNDERGO A CHANGE OF GROUP OR
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION SHALL COMPLY WITH THE
 PROVISIONS OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, ACCESSIBILITY.
 202.4.1 DISPROPORTIONATE COST.
 ALTERATIONS MADE TO PROVIDE AN ACCESSIBLE PATH OF
 TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED AREA WILL BE DEEMED
 DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE OVERALL ALTERATION WHEN THE
 COST EXCEEDS 20% OF THE COST OF THE ALTERATION TO THE
 PRIMARY FUNCTION AREA. COSTS THAT MAY BE COUNTED AS
 EXPENDITURES REQUIRED TO PROVIDE AN ACCESSIBLE PATH OF
 TRAVEL MAY INCLUDE: (I) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING
 AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE AND AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE
 ALTERED AREA; (II) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH MAKING
 RESTROOMS ACCESSIBLE, SUCH AS INSTALLING GRAB BARS,
 ENLARGING TOILET STALLS, INSULATING PIPES, OR
 INSTALLING ACCESSIBLE FAUCET CONTROLS; (III) COSTS
 ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES, SUCH
 AS RELOCATING THE TELEPHONE TO AN ACCESSIBLE HEIGHT,
 INSTALLING AMPLIFICATION DEVICES, OR INSTALLING A TEXT
 TELEPHONE (TTY); (IV) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RELOCATING
 AN INACCESSIBLE DRINKING FOUNTAIN.
  
 202.4.2 ACCESSIBLE FEATURES IN THE EVENT OF
 DISPROPORTIONALITY.
 WHEN THE COST OF ALTERATIONS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE PATH
 OF TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED AREA FULLY ACCESSIBLE IS
 DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE COST OF THE OVERALL ALTERATION,
 THE PATH OF TRAVEL SHALL BE MADE ACCESSIBLE TO THE
 EXTENT THAT IT CAN BE MADE ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT INCURRING
 DISPROPORTIONATE COSTS. IN CHOOSING WHICH ACCESSIBLE
 ELEMENTS TO PROVIDE, PRIORITY SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THOSE
 ELEMENTS THAT WILL PROVIDE THE GREATEST ACCESS, IN THE
 FOLLOWING ORDER: (I) AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE; (II) AN
 ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE ALTERED AREA; (III) AT LEAST
 ONE ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM FOR EACH SEX OR A SINGLE UNISEX
 RESTROOM; (IV) ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES; (V) ACCESSIBLE
 DRINKING FOUNTAINS; AND (VI) WHEN POSSIBLE, ADDITIONAL
 ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS SUCH AS PARKING, STORAGE, AND
 ALARMS.
  
 2) 2010 FBC-B436.2 CLOSET DOORS. EVERY CLOSET DOOR
 LATCH SHALL BE SUCH THAT CLIENTS CAN OPEN THE DOOR FROM
 INSIDE THE CLOSET.
  
 3)2010 FBC-B 436.3 BATHROOM DOORS. EVERY BATHROOM DOOR
 LOCK SHALL BE DESIGNED TO PERMIT OPENING OF THE LOCKED
 DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE IN AN EMERGENCY. THE OPENING
 DEVICE SHALL BE READILY ACCESSIBLE TO THE STAFF.
  
 4) 436.4 DOOR CLOSURE. ANY EXIT DOOR DESIGNED TO BE
 NORMALLY CLOSED SHALL BE KEPT CLOSED AND SHALL COMPLY
 WITH SECTION 715.3.
  
 5) 2010 FBC-B 713.6 FIRE WALLS, FIRE BARRIERS, FIRE
 PARTITIONS, SMOKE BARRIERS AND SMOKE PARTITIONS OR ANY
 OTHER WALL REQUIRED TO HAVE PROTECTED OPENINGS SHALL BE
 EFFECTIVELY AND PERMANENTLY IDENTIFIED WITH SIGNS OR
 STENCILING IN A MANNER ACCEPTABLE TO THE AUTHORITY
 HAVING JURISDICTION. SUCH IDENTIFICATION SHALL BE ABOVE
 ANY DECORATIVE CEILING AND IN CONCEALED SPACES.
 SUGGESTED WORDING FOR FIRE AND SMOKE BARRIERS: ?FIRE
 AND SMOKE BARRIER ? PROTECT ALL OPENINGS.?
  
 6) BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT
 FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL
 PERMIT SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND
 A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT
