 DIMENSION AND DOES NOT SHOW THAT (BASED ON AERIALS)
 THERE IS A DOOR FROM THE BEDROOM TO THE EXISTING OPEN
 AREA, NOW PROPOSED TO BE ENCLOSED WITH A PORCH (ROOF
 PANELS, ACRYLIC WALL PANELS). IT APPEARS THAT YOU
 PROPOSE TO REDUCE THE LEVEL OF SAFETY BY ELMINATING A
 COMPLIANT EMERGENCY MEANS OF ESCAPE.
  
 AS SPECIFIC METHOD OF COMPLIANCE WAS NOT STATED (FBC
 2010 EXISTING BUILDING CODE 101.5), A SPECIFIC CODE
 SECTION CANNOT BE PROVIDED. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT
 ME IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE.
  
 3RD REVIEW - EXISTING WINDOW DOES NOT COMPLY WITH
 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENINGS. THE EXISTING
 SLIDING GLASS DOOR DOES COMPLY. YOU NOW PROPOSED TO
 ENCLOSE THE PORCH WITH SOLID ACRYLIC PANELS, SO THE
 SLIDING GLASS DOOR WILL NO LONGER SERVE AS A COMPLIANT
 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE.
  
 A COMPLIANT WINDOW IS SUGGESTED (CASEMENT, HORIZONTAL
 ROLLER).
  
 PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT THERE ARE THREE DIFFERENT BOAF
 INFORMAL INTERPRETATIONS WHICH ADDRESS THIS ISSUE.
