 1) THE SUBMITTED PLAN DOES NOT CLEARLY STATE WHERE WORK
 IS GOING TO BE ACCOMPLISHED UNDER THIS PERMIT. THE NEW
 CAMP ULTIMA IS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCYTHE LAST KNOWN
 OCCUPANCY IN THIS SPACE WAS A RESTARAUNT, IF OCCUPANT
 LOAD UNDER 50 THEN CONSIDERED MERCANTILE IF OVER 50
 THEN IT WOULD OF BEEN CONSIDERED A2 ASSEMBLY
 RESTARAUNT. THE NEW OCCUPANCY IS TO BE A GYM WHICH IS A
 A3 OCCUPANCY. 2010 FLORIDA EXISTING BUILDING CODE
 SECTION 901.3.1 PARTIAL CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION. WHERE A PORTION OF AN EXISTING BUILDING
 IS CHANGED TO A NEW OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION, SECTION
 912 SHALL APPLY.
  
 2) 912.1.2 FIRE PROTECTION AND INTERIOR FINISH.
 THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 912.2 AND 912.3 FOR FIRE
 PROTECTION AND INTERIOR FINISH, RESPECTIVELY, SHALL
 APPLY TO ALL BUILDINGS UNDERGOING A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION.
  
 912.2 FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS.
 FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS SHALL BE PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH SECTIONS 912.2.1 AND 912.2.2.
  
 912.2.2 FIRE ALARM AND DETECTION SYSTEM.
 WHERE A CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OCCURS THAT
 REQUIRES A FIRE ALARM AND DETECTION SYSTEM TO BE
 PROVIDED BASED ON THE NEW OCCUPANCY IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 CHAPTER 9 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING, SUCH
 SYSTEM SHALL BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE AREA WHERE THE
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY OCCURS. EXISTING ALARM NOTIFICATION
 APPLIANCES SHALL BE AUTOMATICALLY ACTIVATED THROUGHOUT
 THE BUILDING. WHERE THE BUILDING IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH A
 FIRE ALARM SYSTEM, ALARM NOTIFICATION APPLIANCES SHALL
 BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE AREA WHERE THE CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY OCCURS AND SHALL BE AUTOMATICALLY ACTIVATED.
 PLANS DO NOT INDICATE IF THERE IS A FIRE SPRINKLER
 SYSTEM WITHIN THIS BUILDING.
  
 912.3 INTERIOR FINISH.
 IN AREAS OF THE BUILDING UNDERGOING THE CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION, THE INTERIOR FINISH OF WALLS
 AND CEILINGS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING FOR THE NEW OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION.
  
 3) 912.1.4 ACCESSIBILITY.
 ALL BUILDINGS UNDERGOING A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 912.8. 912.8
 ACCESSIBILITY. EXISTING BUILDINGS THAT UNDERGO A CHANGE
 OF GROUP OR OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION SHALL COMPLY WITH
 THE PROVISIONS OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE,
 ACCESSIBILITY.
  
 3A) 2010 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3
 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS,
 SYSTEMS, AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS

 RECEPTIONIST COUNTER DOES NOT COMPLY WITH 2010 FL
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 904.3.3 CHECK WRITING SURFACES. WHERE PROVIDED, CHECK
 WRITING SURFACES SHALL COMPLY WITH 902.3. 902.3 HEIGHT.
 THE TOPS OF WORK SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES (710 MM)
 MINIMUM AND 34 INCHES (865 MM) MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH
 FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 3B) 2010 FL ACCESSIBILITY CODE 202.4.1 DISPROPORTIONATE
 COST.
 ALTERATIONS MADE TO PROVIDE AN ACCESSIBLE PATH OF
 TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED AREA WILL BE DEEMED
 DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE OVERALL ALTERATION WHEN THE
 COST EXCEEDS 20% OF THE COST OF THE ALTERATION TO THE
 PRIMARY FUNCTION AREA. COSTS THAT MAY BE COUNTED AS
 EXPENDITURES REQUIRED TO PROVIDE AN ACCESSIBLE PATH OF
 TRAVEL MAY INCLUDE: (I) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING
 AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE AND AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE
 ALTERED AREA; (II) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH MAKING
 RESTROOMS ACCESSIBLE, SUCH AS INSTALLING GRAB BARS,
 ENLARGING TOILET STALLS, INSULATING PIPES, OR
 INSTALLING ACCESSIBLE FAUCET CONTROLS; (III) COSTS
 ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES, SUCH
 AS RELOCATING THE TELEPHONE TO AN ACCESSIBLE HEIGHT,
 INSTALLING AMPLIFICATION DEVICES, OR INSTALLING A TEXT
 TELEPHONE (TTY); (IV) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RELOCATING
 AN INACCESSIBLE DRINKING FOUNTAIN.
  
 202.4.2 ACCESSIBLE FEATURES IN THE EVENT OF
 DISPROPORTIONALITY.
 WHEN THE COST OF ALTERATIONS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE PATH
 OF TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED AREA FULLY ACCESSIBLE IS
 DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE COST OF THE OVERALL ALTERATION,
 THE PATH OF TRAVEL SHALL BE MADE ACCESSIBLE TO THE
 EXTENT THAT IT CAN BE MADE ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT INCURRING
 DISPROPORTIONATE COSTS. IN CHOOSING WHICH ACCESSIBLE
 ELEMENTS TO PROVIDE, PRIORITY SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THOSE
 ELEMENTS THAT WILL PROVIDE THE GREATEST ACCESS, IN THE
 FOLLOWING ORDER: (I) AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE; (II) AN
 ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE ALTERED AREA; (III) AT LEAST
 ONE ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM FOR EACH SEX OR A SINGLE UNISEX

 DRINKING FOUNTAINS; AND (VI) WHEN POSSIBLE, ADDITIONAL
 ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS SUCH AS PARKING, STORAGE, AND
 ALARMS.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE A ITEMIXED LIST WHERE AN ADDITIONAL
 $18,000.00 DOLLARS WILL BE SPENT IN ACCESSIBILITY
 UPGRADES TO THE ALTERED WORK AREAS. NOTE IF THE
 ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE AND AND ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO ALTERED
 AREAS DO NOT NEED ACCESSIBILITY UPDATES THEN THE
 RESTROOMS IN THE NEWLY CHANGED OCCUPANCY WOULD NEED TO
 SPEND AN ADDITIONAL $18,000.00 IN ACCESSIBILITY
 UPGRADES.
