 ADDRESS: THE ADDRESS PROVIDED ON THE PLANS (4847) DOES
 NOT MATCH THE ADDRESS (4855) PROVIDED ON THE PERMIT
 APPLICATION.
  
 GENERAL: ON CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENT SHEET FP000, THE
 ENGINEER OF RECORD (NELSON LONG, P.E.) INDICATES A
 REMOTE AREA OF 1,500 SQ.FT. SHALL BE HYDRAULICALLY
 CALCULATED FOR LIGHT HAZARD AREAS. ENGINEER IS TO
 PROVIDE A SIGNED/SEALED LETTER OR REVISED DRAWING
 INDICATING THAT THE SPRINKLER CONTRACTOR'S PROPOSED
 ROOM DESIGN METHOD SHOWN AND CALCULATED ON THE
 SPRINKLER SHOP DRAWINGS IS ACCEPTABLE. TO UTILIZE THE
 ROOM DESIGN METHOD, ALL ROOMS SHALL BE ENCLOSED WITH
 WALLS HAVING A FIRE RESISTANCE RATING OF 30
 MINUTES..THIS NEEDS TO BE INDICATED ON THE PLANS. FOR
 AREAS NOT ENCLOSED BY WALLS WITH A FIRE RESISTANCE
 RATING SUCH AS THE RESIDENTS DIETARY AND DINING AREA
 NEED TO BE SUPPORTED BY HYDRAULIC CALCULATIONS.
  
 GENERAL: (SEE ARCHITECTURAL SHEETS A401 & A402 FOR
 REFERENCE)THE OVERHEAD LIFT TRACK SYSTEM APPEARS TO BE
 A SOLID OBSTRUCTION APPROXIMATELY 6"-8" IN DEPTH IN ALL
 LIVING UNIT TYPES A THROUGH D. LIVING UNIT TYPE E HAS
 THIS SAME TRACK WHICH APPEARS TO EXTEND INTO THE
 SHOWER. THIS TRACK APPEARS TO RESULT IN SPRINKLER SPRAY
 OBSTRUCTIONS. PLEASE EXPLAIN.
  
 GENERAL: IT IS UNCLEAR FROM THE PLANS AND SPRINKLER
 SCHEDULE IF RESIDENTIAL STYLE SPRINKLERS ARE TO BE
 INSTALLED IN ALL LIVING UNITS ON ALL THREE FLOORS.
 NOTE: RESIDENTIAL SPRINKLERS WERE NOT HYDRAULICALLY
 CALCULATED.
  
 GENERAL: FOR SYSTEM PRESSURES EXCEEDING 100 PSI,
 ARMOVERS AND END OF BRANCH LINE PENDENT SPRINKLERS
 SHALL BE PROTECTED FROM UPWARD MOVEMENT. HANGERS SHALL
 BE LOCATED WITHIN 12-INCHES OF THE DROP ELBOW. INDICATE
 THE HANGER TYPE OR METHOD TO BE USED FOR RESTRAINING
 UPWARD MOVEMENT.
  
 SHEET FP101: THE RESIDENTIAL STYLE SPRINKLERS WITH A
 K-FACTOR OF 4.3 COULD NOT BE LOCATED IN ANY OF THE
 SLEEPING ROOMS. THE PLANS INDICATE A SPRINKLER COUNT OF
 84.
  
 SHEET FP101: FLEXIBLE DINING ROOM #129 HAS SPRINKLERS
 LOCATED IN THE 8'-6" CEILING; HOWEVER, THE SPRAY WILL
 BE OBSTRUCTED BY THE PERIMETER SOFFIT LOCATED AT 8'-3"
 AFF.
  
 SHEET FP101B: THE PRODUCT DATA INDICATES THAT CPVC
 PIPING WILL BE USED FOR PIPING 2" AND SMALLER; HOWEVER,
 THE HYDRAULIC CALCULATIONS CORRESPONDING TO THIS SHEET
 INDICATE A C-FACTOR OF 150 FOR SOME SECTIONS OF 3"
 PIPING.
  
 SHEET FP102: THE SIDEWALL SPRINKLERS PROTECTING THE
 LIVING UNITS ON THE FIRST FLOOR ARE INDICATED AS
 RESIDENTIAL SIDEWALL SPRINKLERS (K=4.4); HOWEVER,
 REGULAR (K=5.6) SIDEWALL SPRINKLERS ARE USED IN THE
 SECOND AND THIRD FLOOR LIVING UNITS. PLEASE EXPLAIN.
  
 SHEET FP102: FLEXIBLE DINING ROOM #229 HAS SPRINKLERS
 LOCATED IN THE 8'-6" CEILING; HOWEVER, THE SPRAY WILL
 BE OBSTRUCTED BY THE PERIMETER SOFFIT LOCATED AT 8'-3"
 AFF.
  
 SHEET FP102: SPRINKLER COVERAGE IS ABSENT FROM THE
 SOUTHWEST CORNER OF CENTRAL STORAGE ROOM #276.
  
 SHEET FP103: (SEE ARCHITECTURAL SHEET A153, A401 AND
 SHEET A591 - DETAIL 16 FOR REFERENCE) INDICATE THE
 CURRENT CEILING AND SOFFIT ELEVATIONS FOR THE LIVING
 UNITS AS THE SPRINKLER SHOP DRAWINGS SEEM TO CONFLICT
 WITH THE ARCHITECTURAL CEILING HEIGHTS. PER NPFA 13,
 THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE DISTANCE OF DEFLECTOR ABOVE THE
 BOTTOM OF THE OBSTRUCTION IS 14-INCHES FOR STANDARD
 SPRAY SIDEWALL SPRINKLERS (TABLE 8.7.5.1.3 - NFPA 13,
 2010 ED).
 (NOTE: A RESIDENTIAL SIDEWALL SPRINKLER CANNOT BE USED
 DUE TO THE CEILING/SOFFIT HEIGHT DIFFERENCES PER NFPA
 13).
  
 SHEET FP103: FLEXIBLE DINING ROOM #329 HAS SPRINKLERS
 LOCATED IN THE 8'-6" CEILING; HOWEVER, THE SPRAY WILL
 BE OBSTRUCTED BY THE PERIMETER SOFFIT LOCATED AT 8'-3"
 AFF.
  
 SHEET FP103: PROVIDE SPRINKLER PROTECTION AT THE TOP OF
 STAIR #2 AND #3.
  
 SHEET FP104: PROVIDE CONTROL VALVES, FLOW SWITCHES AND
 INSPECTOR'S TEST CONNECTIONS FOR THE SPRINKLERS
 PROTECTING ROOF AIR HANDLER ROOMS SO A SPRINKLER ALARM
 IN THESE AREAS IS NOT MISTAKEN AS A THIRD FLOOR ALARM.
  
 SHEET FP104: THE RISER AND CROSS MAIN ARE INDICATED AS
 3" ON THE PLANS; HOWEVER, THE CROSS MAIN ON THE FLOOR
 BELOW (SHEET FP103) INDICATES THIS MAIN TO BE 2-1/2".
  
 SHEET FP104: THE PLANS INDICATE 1-1/2" BRANCH LINES.
 THE PLAN REVIEWER WOULD ASSUME THE SPRIG UP OR DROP
 DOWN IS TO BE 1"; HOWEVER, THE HYDRAULIC CALCULATIONS
 INDICATE THE USE OF BOTH 1" RUNOUTS/ARMOVERS AND 1-1/4"
 RUNOUTS/ARMOVERS. CLARIFY ON THE PLANS WHAT IS TO BE
 INSTALLED.
