 1) SHEET A-0.0 & A-2.2 BOTH INDICATE THIS TO BE A TYPE
 II BUILDING, UNDER THE 1997 SBC THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN
 CORRECT, IN THE 2004 FBC TYPE VI BUILDINGS WERE
 ELIMINATED AND A RECLASSIFICATION TOOK PLACE, THIS
 BUILDING IS CURRENTLY CLASSIFIED UNDER THE 2010 FBC-B
 AS A BUILDING TYPE IB. PLEASE CORRECT ALL SHEETS.
 FIGURE 600 CONSTRUCTION TYPE COMPARISION 2007 FBC-B
 COMMENTARY. PLEASE UPDATE.
  
 2) NEITHER SHEET A-0.0 NOR A-2.2 INDICATE THAT THIS
 TENANT SPACE IS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY. BARNES & NOBLE
 OCCUPIED THIS SPACE A MERCANTILE OCCUPANCY. LA FITNESS
 IS PROPOSING TO BECOME THE NEW TENANT, A A-3 OCCUPANCY.
 THE DESIGNER OF RECORD WILL NEED TO REVIEW THE 2010
 EXISTING BUILDING CODE 901.3.1 FOR BUILDINGS THAT ARE
 UNDER GOING A PARTIAL CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY, SECTION 912
 WILL APPLY.
  
 2A) THE DESIGNER OF RECORD SHALL ELECT TO DESSIGN THIS
 TENANT SPACE UNDER EITHER SECTION:
 912.1.1.1 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION WITHOUT
 SEPARATION.
 912.1.1.2 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION WITH
 SEPARATION.
 2B) WHEN THE CONTRACTOR APPLIES FOR THE BUILDING
 PERMIT, UNDER THE HEADING, DESCRIPTION OF WORK, THE
 CONTRACTOR IS TO INCLUDE, "CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY".
  
 3) SHEET A-0.0 & A-2.2 THE OCCUPANT LOAD COUNT IS NOT
 CORRECT, ROOM ID 200 THE AEROBICS ROOM IT APPEARS THE
 USEE OF 50 SQ FT PER PERSON IS WITH EQUIPMENT, THE
 CORRECT USEAGE SHOULD EITHER BE 15 NET OR 7 NET. FOR
 THE PURPOSE OF THIS REVIEW THE 15 SQ FT WILL BE USED
 FOR THE OCCUPANT LOAD COUNT. PLEASE CORRECT THE
 OCCUPANT LOAD AND REQUIRED EGRESS WIDTHS ON BOTH
 SHEETS.
  
 4) 2010 EXST BLDG CODE 912.4.1 MEANS OF EGRESS FOR
 CHANGE TO HIGHER HAZARD CATEGORY.
 WHEN A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION IS MADE TO A
 HIGHER HAZARD CATEGORY (LOWER NUMBER) AS SHOWN IN TABLE
 912.4, THE MEANS OF EGRESS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER 10 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, BUILDING.
  
 4A) THE MONUMENTAL STAIR IS NOW AN ISSUE (A-3
 OCCUPANCY) WHERE IT WAS NOT UNDER THE MERCANTILE
 OCCUPANCY. THE EXCEPTION FOR MONUMENTAL STAIRS IS FOUND
 UNDER 708.2 EXCEPTION # 7, THE MONUMENTAL STAIR NOT
 REQUIRED TO BE PART OF THE MEANS OF EGRESS BECAUSE
 THERE WERE 2 VERTICAL EXITS TO THE 2ND FLOOR.
  
 THE 2010 FBC-B SECTION 1028.2 REQUIRES 50 % OF THE
 TOTAL OCCUPANTS TO EXIT THROUGH THE MAIN EXIT. 1028.3
 ASSEMBLY OTHER EXITS. EACH LEVEL OF AN ASSEMBLY
 OCCUPANCY SHALL HAVE ACCESS TO A MAIN EXIT AND SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WITH ADDITIONAL EXITS OF SUFFICIENT WIDTH TO
 ACCOMMODATE ONE-HALF OF THE TOTAL OCCUPANT LOAD SERVED
 BY THAT LEVEL. SUCH ADDITIONAL EXITS SHALL BE LOCATED
 AS FAR FROM THE MAIN ENTRANCE/EXIT AS PRACTICABLE. SUCH
 EXITS SHALL BE ACCESSIBLE FROM A CROSS AISLE OR A SIDE
 AISLE. PLEASE PROVIDE CODE COMPLIANCE.
  
 ANOTHER ISSUE THAT IS BORDER LINE IS THE OCCUPANT LOAD
 ON THE SECOND FLOOR AND A THIRD REQUIRED STAIRWAY 2010
 FBC-B TABLE 1021.1 IF 501 OCCUPANTS ARE LOCATED ON THE
 2ND FLOOR THEN A THIRD REQUIRED EXIT STAIR WILL ALSO BE
 REQUIRED.
  
 5) THE PLANS DO NOT PROVIDE A SECTION THROUGH THE
 MONUMENTAL STAIRWAY, PLEASE PROVIDE SUCH SECTION
 PROVIDING DETAILS SUCH AS DRAFT CURTAIN AND SPRINKLER
 LOCATION.
 2010 FBC-B 708.2 EXCEPTION 2.1. WHERE THE AREA OF THE
 FLOOR OPENING BETWEEN STORIES DOES NOT EXCEED TWICE THE
 HORIZONTAL PROJECTED AREA OF THE ESCALATOR OR STAIRWAY
 AND THE OPENING IS PROTECTED BY A DRAFT CURTAIN AND
 CLOSELY SPACED SPRINKLERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 13.
 IN OTHER THAN GROUPS B AND M, THIS APPLICATION IS
 LIMITED TO OPENINGS THAT DO NOT CONNECT MORE THAN FOUR
 STORIES. PLEASE NOTE THIS EXCEPTION IS ONLY FOR
 BUSINESS & MERCANTILE, NOT FOR AN ASSEMBLY USE, PLEASE
 PROVIDE HOW THIS CODE VIOLATION WILL BE COMPLIED.
  
 6) THE LIFE SAFETY PLANS HAVE SERIOUS PROBLEMS SINCE
 THE MONUMETAL STAIRS CAN NOT BE USED FOR EXITING AND
 SINCE THE 2ND FLOOR OCCUPANT LOAD IS AT 500 OCCUPANTS,
 NEITHER THE STAIRS NOR THE DOORS AT THE BACK OF THE
 BUILDING WILL HANDLE THESE OCCUPANT LOADS. THE DESIGNER
 IS TAKING A 36 INCH DOOR AND STATING 180 OCCUPANTS CAN
 EXIT THIS OPENING, WHEREAS THE CLEAR OPENING IS CLOSER
 TO 34 INCHES AND ONLY 170 OCCUPANTS CAN EXIT. FOR A
 PAIR OF DOUBLE DOORS 340 OCCUPANTS. THE BACK OF HOUSE
 SEERVICE CORRIDOR IS ALSO CONSIDERED A EXIT PASSAGEWAY
 SINCE IT IS A CONTINUATION OF THE VERTICAL EXIT. MANY
 OF THE DOORS IN THIS EXIT PASSAGEWAY DOORWAYS ARE NOT
 WIDE ENOUGH FOR THE NEW ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCIES THAT NOW
 EXIST. FOR EXAMPLE TO THE SOUTH THE SPACE WAS
 ORIGINALLY DESIGN FOR MERCANTILE OCCUPANCY, THIS IS NOW
 GOING TO BE A RESTRAUNT WITH DOUBLE THE OCCUPANT LOAD
 OF HOW THE EXIT PASSAGE WAY WAS DESIGNED. THE SAME HOLD
 TRUE JUST TO THE NORTH, A SECOND FLOOR NIGHTCLUB AND
 THE SECONDARY EXIT THAT LEADS TO THE EXIT STAIRS.
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE OCCUPANT LOADS THAT WILL SHARE THE
 EXITING FOR THIS COMMON EXIT PASSAGE WAY. PLEASE NOTE
 PART OF THE EXIT DISCHARGE A 4 FOOT WIDE SIDEWALK
 AND STAIRS., THE STAIRS WILL ONLY ALLOW FOR 160
 OCCUPANTS. PLEASE PROVIDE THE LIFE SAFETY PLANS TO THE
 PUBLIC WAY.
  
 7-9) COMPLIED.
 10) STRUCTURAL WORK COMMENT # 10 TO BE COMPLETED UNDER
 THE LANDLORD PERMIT# 13030406.
  
 11) PLANS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE CITY PLACE APPROVAL WITH
 THEIR STAMP.
  
 12) BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT
 FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL
 PERMIT SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND
 A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT
