 DEMOLITION: FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS SHALL REMAIN ACTIVE
 DURING DEMOLITION AND RENOVATION ACTIVITIES. IN THE
 EVENT A FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM IS OUT OF SERVICE FOR
 MORE THAN 4-HOURS IN A 24-HOUR PERIOD, THE BUILDING
 SHALL BE PLACED UNDER A FIRE WATCH. ALL FIRE WATCH
 REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING (FAX:
 561-804-4774) AND APPROVED BY THE OFFICE OF THE FIRE
 MARSHAL LOCATED AT 500 NORTH DIXIE HIGHWAY.
  
 GENERAL: PROVIDE AN EXTERIOR KEY SAFE TO ALLOW
 EMERGENCY RESPONDERS NON-FORCIBLE ENTRY INTO THE
 BUILDING DURING NON-BUSINESS HOURS. A KEY SAFE CAN BE
 ORDERED FROM WWW.KNOXBOX.COM.
  
 GENERAL: PROVIDE TACTILE SIGNAGE AT ALL REQUIRED EXIT
 DOORS WITH EXIT SIGNS.
  
 SHEET LS1.0: EXISTING REAR EXIT ACCESS CORRIDOR NEEDED
 SOME WORK DURING LAST ROUTINE FIRE INSPECTION. NEW AND
 EXISTING PENETRATIONS SHALL BE A APPROPRIATELY
 PROTECTED. PROVIDE PERMANENT SIGNAGE THROUGHOUT
 CORRIDOR INDICATING ?EXIT CORRIDOR ? NO STORAGE OR
 COMBUSTIBLES.?
  
 SHEET LS1.0: PROVIDE HANDRAILS ON BOTH SIDES OF STAIRS
 AT KJ BOOTH #104 AND MB CONTROL #112. HANDRAILS SHALL
 BE LOCATED NOT LESS THAN 34 INCHES AND NOT MORE THAN 38
 INCHES ABOVE THE SURFACE OF THE TREAD, MEASURED
 VERTICALLY TO THE TOP OF THE RAIL FROM THE LEADING EDGE
 OF THE TREAD. HANDRAIL ENDS SHALL BE RETURNED TO THE
 WALL OR FLOOR OR SHALL TERMINATE AT NEWEL POSTS.
 HANDRAIL CROSS SECTION SHALL HAVE A DIAMETER OF NOT
 LESS THAN 1.25 INCHES AND NOT MORE THAN 2 INCHES.
  
 SHEET A1.0: ALL EXIT AND EXIT ACCESS DOORS TO BE
 EQUIPPED WITH PANIC OR FIRE EXIT HARDWARE INCLUDING
 EXISTING DOORS LOCATED IN THE REAR EXIT ACCESS CORRIDOR
 ALONG COLUMN LINE ?E.? DOOR #111 TO BE PROVIDED WITH
 PANIC HARDWARE AS WELL.
  
 SHEET FA-1: PROVIDE SPEAKER/STROBE NOTIFICATION
 APPLIANCES AS NEW ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCIES WITH AN OCCUPANT
 LOAD EXCEEDING 300 OCCUPANTS SHALL RECEIVE FIRE ALARM
 NOTIFICATION BY VISIBLE SIGNALS AND VOICE
 ANNOUNCEMENTS. PROVIDE FIRE ALARM MICROPHONE NEAR
 ANUNCIATOR PANEL. PROVIDE A PRE-RECORDED FIRE ALARM
 EVACUATION MESSAGE NOTIFYING OCCUPANTS AN EMERGENCY HAS
 BEEN REPORTED IN THE BUILDING, LOCATE THE NEAREST EXIT,
 AND EXIT THE BUILDING IMMEDIATELY. MUSIC SHALL SHUT
 DOWN UPON ACTIVATION OF FIRE ALARM SYSTEM TO ALLOW FIRE
 ALARM MESSAGE TO BE INTELLIGIBLE.
  
 SHEET FA-1: NO FIRE ALARM NOTIFICATION APPLIANCES
 LOCATED IN KITCHEN PREP AREA OR OUTDOOR DINING AREA
