 PROVIDE SPECIFICATIONS/DETAILS SHOWING HOW COMPLYING
 WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R310.".
  
 ***RESPONSE:
 REVISED PLANS SHOW AN EGRESS WINDOW FROM THE MASTER
 BATHROOM. THIS DOESN'T COMPLY. THE EGRESS WINDOW SHALL
 BE IN THE MASTER BEDROOM, NOT IN THE MASTER BATHROOM.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED TO COMPLY.
  
 B) ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 "NOTE #2 SPECIFIES EXTERIOR WALLS TO BE 2X4 STUDS WITH
 R-19 INSULATION. R-19 BATT INSULATION DOESN'T FIT ON
 2X4 WALL. REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS TO FBC." AND, COORDINATE WITH ITEM #6(B)
 BELOW.

 REVISE NAILING SCHEDULE TYPE OF NAIL AND NAIL SPACING.
 ROOF SHEATHING REQUIRES MIN. 8D RING SHANK NAILS. AND
 THE SPACING REQUIRED FOR ZONE #3 IS 4"O.C. AND 6"O.C.
 FOR ZONES 1 AND 2. SEC. R803.2.3.1 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.

 NAILING SCHEDULE ON SHEET 4 OF 4 WAS NOT REVISED.
 REVISE TO MATCH INFORMATION SHOWN ON THE TRUSS LAYOUT.
 CLEARLY IDENTIFY THE ROOF ZONES ON THE TRUSS LAYOUT
 (DRAWING SUBMITTED IS MISMATCHING ROOF ZONE 2 AND 3.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED).
  
 4- SOIL TEST REPORT SUBMITTED STATES THAT A SOIL
 BEARING CAPACITY OF 2500 POUNDS PER SQUARE FOOT MAY BE
 UTILIZED IN THE FOOTING DESIGN "WHEN THE FOOTINGS BEAR
 ONE AND ONE HALF (1.5) TO TWO (2) FEET BELOW THE
 FINISHED GRADE". (SEE SECOND TO LAST PARAGRAPH ON SHEET
 3 OF SOIL TEST REPORT). REVISE DRAWINGS AS REQUIRED TO
 SHOW THIS RECOMMENDATIONS. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 5- REVISED ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED:
 A) REVISE ITEMS 6A, 6B AND 6C. NEED TO PROVIDE MINIMUM
 REQUIREMENTS FROM TABLE 402A OF SECOND SHEET OF THE
 ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED. AND, COORDINATE
 INFORMATION WITH INFORMATION SHOWN ON TABLE 402A.
  
 6- ACCORDING TO TRUSS PACKAGE SUBMITTED, THE DESIGNER
 OF RECORD NEED TO REVISE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION ON
 THE PLANS (SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS):
 A) THE CONNECTOR (SIMPSON H16-2) DOESN'T MEET THE
 UPLIFT LOADS CALCULATED BY THE TRUSS ENGINEER. REVISE
 AS REQUIRED.
  
 B) TRUSSES NEED BEARING AT THE ENDS TO BE 6" (SEE TRUSS
 A1 AND A2G. THEY SHOW RIGID SURFACE W=6"). PLANS SHOW
 2X4 WOOD STUDS. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 C) SPECIFY THE CONNECTORS FOR EXISTING ROOF TRUSSES TO
 BE RESTING ON NEW GIRDER TRUSS A2G. TRUSS LAYOUT
 SPECIFIES CONNECTIONS BY OTHERS.
  
 7- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON PLANS
 AND DETAILS. INCLUDING THE H16-2 CONNECTOR SPECIFIED AT
 THE ENDS OF GIRDER TRUSS. ***NOTE: NEED TO COORDINATE
 THIS CONNECTOR WITH ITEM #6 (A) ABOVE. PROVIDE ONLY THE
 PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE
 SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
