 CHECKLIST.
 CODE: 2010 FBC.
  
 1- HOUSE IS LOCATED IN FLOOD ZONE A5. ACCORDING TO THE
 CITY CODE FOR FLOOD PREVENTION AND CONTROL ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION OR SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT OF ANY EXISTING
 RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE THE LOWEST FLOOR
 ELEVATED TO SIX INCHES ABOVE THE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION.
 SEC. 94-546(B)(1). THE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION FOR FLOOD
 ZONE A5 IS 7'-0". THE ADDITION AND THE EXISTING HOUSE
 NEED TO BE ELEVATED TO 7'-6" BECAUSE THERE IS MORE THAN
 50% OF SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT TO THE HOUSE. SEE BELOW
 FOR THE DEFINITION OF SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT:
 SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT MEANS ANY COMBINATION OF
 REPAIRS, RECONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION, OR IMPROVEMENTS TO
 A STRUCTURE, TAKING PLACE DURING THE LIFE OF A
 STRUCTURE, IN WHICH THE CUMULATIVE COST EQUALS OR
 EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF THE MARKET VALUE OF THE
 STRUCTURE. THE MARKET VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE SHOULD BE
 THE APPRAISED VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE PRIOR TO THE START
 OF THE INITIAL REPAIR OR IMPROVEMENT, OR IN THE CASE OF
 DAMAGE, THE VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE PRIOR TO THE DAMAGE
 OCCURRING. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS DEFINITION,
 "SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT" IS CONSIDERED TO OCCUR WHEN
 THE FIRST ALTERATION OF ANY WALL, CEILING, FLOOR, OR
 OTHER STRUCTURAL PART OF THE BUILDING COMMENCES,
 WHETHER OR NOT THAT ALTERATION AFFECTS THE EXTERNAL
 DIMENSIONS OF THE STRUCTURE. THE TERM "SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT" DOES NOT, HOWEVER, INCLUDE ANY IMPROVEMENT
 OF A STRUCTURE TO COMPLY WITH EXISTING HEALTH,
 SANITARY, OR SAFETY CODES WHICH ARE SOLELY NECESSARY TO
 ENSURE SAFE LIVING CONDITIONS
  
 ***NOTE:
 ELEVATION CERTIFICATE DATED 12-09-04 IS INCORRECT. IT
 SPECIFIES FLOOD ZONE B. THIS BUILDING IS LOCATED ON
 FLOOD ZONE A5. HOUSE NEEDS TO HAVE MIN. 7'-6" FINISH
 FLOOR ELEVATION. AND, IF THE GARAGE FINISH FLOOR
 ELEVATION IS BELOW 7'-6" , THEN FLOOD VENTS WILL NEED
 TO BE DESIGNED ALSO.
  
 2- BRING PLANS TO PALM BEACH COUNTY BUILDING TO VERIFY
 IF IMPACT FEES ARE DUE. THEN, BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED
 PLANS AND COPY OF PAID RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE.
 REQUIRED BY THE COUNTY IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE OF THE
 UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
  
 3- SHEET A1:
 A) ACCORDING TO SEC. R301.2.1.4.3 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL THIS BUILDING IS LOCATED ON EXPOSURE
 "D" NOT "B". REVISE THE UPLIFT LOADS ON THE CODE
 COMPLIANCE TABLE. SEE TABLE R301.2(2) OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. ***NOTE: THE NUMBERS ON TABLE
 R301.2(2) ARE FOR EXPOSURE B, THEY NEED TO BE ADJUSTED
 FOR EXPOSURE "D".
  
 4- SHEET A2:
 A) REVISE THE DESIGN PRESSURES ON DOOR SCHEDULE TO
 COMPLY WITH EXPOSURE "D" AND WALL ZONE 5 AS REQUIRED BY
 FIGURE R301.2(7) OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 B) REVISE FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION SPECIFIED ON THE
 PROPOSED KITCHEN ADDITION. THIS HOUSE IS LOCATED ON
 FLOOD ZONE A7. MINIMUM FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION NEEDS TO
 BE 7-6". SEE ITEM #1 ABOVE.
  
 5- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) CONCRETE ROOF TILE ADHESIVE. SEE SEC. 4.2 AND SEC.
 4.3 OF ESR-1775 SUBMITTED FROM THE CONCRETE TILE
 FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL FL 3505.
  
 6- ARCHITECT OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE ABOVE
 PRODUCT APPROVAL. SEC. 107.3.4.1 OF CITY AMENDMENTS TO
 FBC.
  
 7- SHEET A4: REVISE THE FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION
 SPECIFICATIONS SHOWN ON THE FOUNDATION PLAN, STARTER
 COLUMN DETAIL AND MONOLITHIC FOOTER DETAIL. COORDINATE
 WITH ITEM #1 ABOVE.
  
 8- PROVIDE SOIL TEST REPORT. SEC. R401.4 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
