 PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSES IN WRITING.
  
 1) REPEAT COMMENT - THE CITYPLACE DESIGN GUIDELINES
 INCLUDE A SECTION ON THE ARCHITECTURAL CHARACTER FOR
 CITYPLACE. THIS INCLUDES THAT THE MATERIALS WILL BE
 DERIVED FROM THE MEDITERRANEAN VOCABULARY. PRIMARY
 BUILDING MATERIALS WILL BE LIGHT COLORED STUCCO, STONE
 OR PRECAST. WOOD, TILE AND STONE WILL BE USED IN WINDOW
 AND OTHER FACADE DETAILS. THE INTERIOR ARCADE ELEVATION
 SHOWS THE MAJORITY OF THE FACADE TREATED WITH "MFG.
 GENERAL SHALE BRICK STYLE, ENGLISH PUB" BRICKS. STAFF
 HAS LOOKED AT THE BRICK STYLE ON THE MANUFACTURER'S
 SITE, AND THEY DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE MEDITERRANEAN
 CHARACTER REQUIREMENT. PLEASE NOTE THAT A COMMENT ABOUT
 BRICKS NOT MEETING THE MEDITERRANEAN CHARACTER WAS MADE
 IN AN E-MAIL TO GINA MOORE ON MARCH 23, 2012.
  
 2) REPEAT COMMENT - THE CITYPLACE DESIGN GUIDELINES
 ENCOURAGE VARIATION IN THE ROSEMARY RETAIL CORRIDOR
 STREET FACADE. AS SUCH, PLEASE CONSIDER VARYING THE
 MATERIALS AT VARIOUS POINTS ALONG THE 300+ FOOT LONG
 FACADE. CITYPLACE HAS PROVIDED AN E-MAIL WITH A
 CONCEPTUAL ELEVATION TO STAFF WHICH SHOWS STUCCO ON
 PIERS ALONG THE FACADE. THE ZONING STAFF IS AMENIABLE
 TO THE CONCEPT OF STUCCO PIERS TO VARY THE FACADE, BUT
 HAS NOT SEEN THE FINAL VERSION OF WHAT CITYPLACE WILL
 APPROVE.
  
 3) THE NEW POSTER CASES PROPOSED ON THE ROSEMARY AVENUE
 FRONTAGE ARE NOT PERMITTED, AS THEY ARE NOT DESIGNATED
 LOCATIONS IN THE CITYPLACE MASTER SIGN PLAN.
  
 4) PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE RS THAT ARE USED AS DOOR
 HANDLES SHALL COUNT TOWARD THE SIGNAGE SQUARE FOOTAGE
 ON THE BUILDING.
