 SHEET G101: THE OCCUPANCY TYPE IS INDICATED AS
 INSTITUTIONAL (I-2) PER THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE;
 HOWEVER, THE OCCUPANT LOAD IS BASED UPON A DAY-CARE
 OCCUPANCY USING AN OCCUPANT LOAD FACTOR OF 20 SQ.FT.
 PER PERSON. PLEASE INDICATE IF THIS SPACE IS INTENDED
 TO BE UTILIZED AS AN ADULT DAY-CARE FACILITY WHERE
 OCCUPANTS ARE CAPABLE OF SELF-PRESERVATION OR WILL THE
 SPACE BE USED FOR PERSONS WHO ARE NOT CAPABLE OF
 SELF-PRESERVATION. ALSO INDICATE THE TIME FRAME FOR
 RECEIVING CARE (MORE THAN OR LESS THAN 24 HOURS PER
 DAY).
  
 SHEET G101: ROOM #110 AND #112 SHOW AN EXIT DISCHARGE
 TO AN EXTERIOR COURTYARD. INDICATE THE ROUTE FROM THE
 COURTYARD TO THE PUBLIC WAY.
  
 SHEET A101: PROVIDE DOOR NUMBER INDICATORS FOR THE MAIN
 ENTRANCE (LOBBY #101), AND DAY ROOM #7 (DOUBLE DOORS).
  
 SHEET A601: INDICATE THE FIRE RESISTANCE RATING (IN
 MINUTES) OF ANY FIRE-RATED DOORS. INDICATE WHAT IS
 INCLUDED (CLOSER, PANIC HARDWARE, LOCKS,ETC.) WITH EACH
 DOOR HARDWARE GROUP AS NO SPECIFICATIONS WERE
 SUBMITTED. NOTE: ANY DOOR IN A REQUIRED MEANS OF EGRESS
 FROM AN AREA HAVING AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 100 OR MORE
 PERSONS SHALL BE PERMITTED TO BE PROVIDED WITH A LOCK
 OR LATCH ONLY IF THEY ARE RELEASED BY PANIC HARDWARE
 PER SECTION 16.2.2.2.2 (NFPA 101 FLORIDA).
  
 GENERAL: EVERY CLOSET DOOR LATCH SHALL BE SUCH THAT
 CLIENTS CAN OPEN THE DOOR FROM INSIDE THE CLOSET. EVERY
 BATHROOM DOOR LOCK SHALL BE DESIGNED TO ALLOW OPENING
 OF THE LOCKED DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE BY AN OPENING
 DEVICE THAT SHALL BE READILY ACCESSIBLE TO THE STAFF
 PER SECTION 16.2.2.2.5 (NFPA 101 FLORIDA).
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING NOTES ON THE LIFE SAFEY
 PLAN:
  
 1) ARTWORK AND TEACHING MATERIALS ATTACHED TO THE WALLS
 SHALL NOT EXCEED 50 PERCENT OF THE INDIVIDUAL WALL
 AREA.
  
 2) AN EMERGENCY PLAN TO BE DEVELOPED AND POSTED IN
 BUILDING PRIOR TO OCCUPANCY.
  
 3) EMERGENCY EGRESS DRILLS SHALL BE CONDUCTED MONTHLY.
 ALL DRILLS SHALL BE SOUNDED ON THE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM.
  
 4) FIRE PREVENTION INSPECTIONS SHALL BE CONDUCTED
 MONTHLY BY A TRAINED SENIOR MEMBER OF THE STAFF, AFTER
 WHICH A COPY OF THE LATEST INSPECTION REPORT SHALL BE
 POSTED IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE IN THE DAY-CARE FACILITY.
 IT SHALL BE THE DUTY OF THE STAFF TO INSPECT ALL EXITS
 DAILY TO ENSURE THAT ALL DOORS AND EXIT PATHS ARE
 MAINTAINED CLEAR OF OBSTRUCTIONS.
  
 SHEET FP101 AND SHEET E0004: FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS
 SHALL REMAIN ACTIVE DURING DEMOLITION AND RENOVATION
 ACTIVITIES. IN THE EVENT A FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM IS
 OUT OF SERVICE FOR MORE THAN 4-HOURS IN A 24-HOUR
 PERIOD, THE BUILDING SHALL BE PLACED UNDER A FIRE
 WATCH. ALL FIRE WATCH REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN
 WRITING (FAX: 561-804-4774) AND APPROVED BY THE OFFICE
 OF THE FIRE MARSHAL LOCATED AT 500 NORTH DIXIE HIGHWAY.
