 CODE: 2010 FBC.
  
 1- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 101.4.3 AND SEC. 103.2 OF 2010 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 2- BEDROOM #1: FRONT WINDOW IS GOING TO BE ENCLOSED.
 SPECIFY SIZE OF EXISTING WINDOW TO BE ENCLOSED. EGRESS
 CAN'T BE REDUCED. SEC. 601.2 OF 2010 FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING. PROVIDE WINDOW MANUFACTURER CUT SHEETS FOR
 OTHER WINDOW ON THIS BEDROOM TO DEMONSTRATE THAT THIS
 WINDOW WILL MEET THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R310
 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 3- SHEET 1.2:
 A) DESIGN PARAMETERS: (1) REVISE THE ROOF LIVE LOAD.
 SEE TABLE R301.6 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL AND REVISE AS
 REQUIRED. (2) ALSO REVISE THE ROOF LIVE LOAD SHOWN ON
 STRUCTURAL NOTE #2(A).
  
 B) REVISE STRUCTURAL NOTE #2(C). DESIGN PARAMETERS
 SPECIFY EXPOSURE "D" NOT "B". REVISE AS REQUIRED TO
 MATCH.
  
 C) SPECIFY SAFETY GLASS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R308.4 FOR
 EAST WINDOWS ON BOTH BEDROOMS. AND, FOR BATHROOM
 WINDOW. THIS APPLIES IF WINDOWS DON'T HAVE IMPACT
 GLASS. PRODUCT APPROVAL WAS NOT SUBMITTED.
  
 D) UTILITY AREA NEW OUTDOOR STEPS: (1) PROVIDE LANDING
 AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R311.3. (2) PROVIDE HANDRAILS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R311.7.7.
  
 4- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) ALL WINDOWS AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 B) ALL EXTERIOR DOORS AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 C) ALL WINDOW MULLIONS AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 D) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON
 PLANS. PROVIDE ONLY THE PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE AND
 PAGE SHOWING THE CONNECTOR.
  
 E) STORM SHUTTERS IF WINDOWS AND DOORS DON'T HAVE
 IMPACT GLAZING. AND, PROVIDE COMPLETE INSTALLATION
 SCHEDULE.
  
 5- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 6- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. SEC. 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC. UPDATE
 VALUATIONS AS REQUIRED. VA;LUATION TO INCLUDE ALL
 PROFESSIONAL DESIGN FEES, ALL LABOR AND MATERIALS AND
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT. PROVIDE COPY OF
 SIGNED CONTRACT SIGNED BY OWNER AND CONTRACTOR.
  
 7- SHEET 2.2:
 A) DESIGN PRESSURES FOR DOORS AND WINDOWS DON'T
 CORRESPOND TO EXPOSURE "D' AS SPECIFIED ON THE DESIGN
 CRITERIA ON SHEET 1.2. REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1
 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 B) TYPICAL WOOD FRAME DETAILS FOR WINDOWS, DOORS AND
 WALLS: (1) SPECIFY SIZE OF HEADERS. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS TO FBC. (2) BELOW THE WINDOW OPENINGS THERE
 IS A NOTE SAYING THAT NO CONNECTORS ARE REQUIRED.
 CLARIFY WHY NOT. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 8- PROVIDE COMPLETE WALL SECTION SHOWING ALL FRAMING
 MEMBERS, CONNECTORS, INSULATION, WALL SHEATHING, DOUBLE
 VAPOR BARRIER, STUCCO THICKNESS, ETC. AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 107.3.5.3(5) CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
