 EGRASS FROM THE 3RD STORY ROOFTOP GARDEN, PLEASE REVIEW
 SECTION 2010 FBC-B TABLE 1021.2 FOR ASSEMBLY
 OCCUPANCIES AND SINGLE EXIT. TRUE THERE IS AN ATTACHED
 SKYBRIDGE, THAT TO DATE ONLY HAS BEEN REVIEWED FOR THE
 PILING AND PILE CAP. THE SUBMITTED PLANS FOR THE
 SKYBRIDGE ARE MORE OF CONCEPT DRAWINGS.
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE LENGTH OF THE SKYBRIDGE FROM WHERE
 IT ATTACHES TO THE VISITORS CENTER OPEN VERTICAL STAIRS
 AND THE TOTAL OVERALL LENGTH OF THE SKYBRIDGE WHERE IT
 AJOINS TO THE POWER BLOCK BUILDING.. THE PLANS
 SUBMIITED FOR THE SKYBRIDGE DO NOT STATE THEY ARE FIRE
 SPRINKLERED, THE 2010 FBC-B 3104.9 LIMIT THE LENGTH TO
 200 FEEET OF EXIT ACCESS TRAVEL, EXCEPTION FOR FIRE
 SPRINKLERS IS 250 FT.
  
 2) 2ND REQUEST, THIS SAME SHEET A1-300 INDICATES A
 SKYBRIDEGE TO THE POWER BLOCK, SHEET 710-SS-103 ALSO
 MAKES REFERENECE TO THE SKYBRIDGE AND A NOTE
 INDICATEING SEE SHEET 710-S3-301 FOR WIND LOADING ON
 SKYBRIDGE AND SKYBRIDGE STAIR TOWER. THIS SHEET IS NOT
 INCLUDED IN THIS SUBMITION, AT THIS TIME WE CAN ONLY
 VIEW THIS AREA AS A SINGLE EXIT FROM THE THIRD FLOOR.
 UNTIL THE SKYBRIDGE IS REVIEWED BY BOTH THE BUILDING
 DEPARTMENT AND FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR CODE COMPLIANCE AND
 PASS THE SKYBRIDGE THE THIRD FLOOR ONLY HAS A SINGLE
 EXIT. THERE ARE GOING TO BE AREAS OF QUESTION TO CODE
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPENESS OF THE SKYBRIDGE AND BEING
 WITHIN TEN FEET OF THE POWER BLOCK BUILDING. AGAIN THE
 DESIN TEAM IS INDICATING THE POWER BLOCK BUILDING BEING
 A TYPE II-B BUILDING EXTERIOR WALLS NOT RATED AND THE
 SKYBRIDGE BEING WITHIN 10'-0" PARALLELING THIS
 BUILDING. 2010 FBC-B 3104.5 NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.
  
 3) 2ND REQUEST. SHEET 710-A1-300 INDICATES THE USE OF A
 SKYBRIDGE TO THE POWER BLOCK, PLESE REVIEW 2010 FBC-B
 3104.2 SEPERATE STRUCTURES, 3104.3 CONSTRUCTION, 3104.4
 CONTENTS & 3104.5 FIRE BARRIERS BETWEEN PEDESTRIAN
 WALKWAYS AND BUILDINGS. THE RESPONSE STATEMENT IS
 REFERENECING 3104.5 EXCEPTION# 2 WHICH I AGREE YOU CAN
 TAKE FOR THE ELEVATED WALKWAY.
 THE 2007 FBC-B CODE COMMENTARY STATES, THESE FOUR
 EXCEPTIONS APPLY TO THE WALKWAY RATHER THAN THE
 BUILDING THAT THE WALKWAY CONNECTS. SINCE THIS IS THE
 SECOND MEANS OF EGRESS FOR THE THIRD FLOOR IT IS
 NECCESSARY TO PROTECT THE GLAZED AREA ADJACENT TO THE
 WALKWAY WITH 3/4 HR OPENING PROTECTIVES AND AT THE
 FLOOR LEVEL
 AND TEN FOOT OUT AND TEN FOOT DOWN 2 HOUR PROTECTION
 FOR FIRE BARRIER PLEASE REVIEW 2007 FBC-B CODE
 COMMENTARY FIGURE 3104.5.
  
  
  
  
 4) 2ND REVIEW, SHEET 710-A1-307 & 710-HC-104, THE EAST
 STAIR TOWER HAS TWO ISSUES:
 4A) THE MECHANICAL ROOM IS NOT SEPERATED FROM THE
 VERTICAL EXIT ENCLOSURE BY A ONE HOUR RATED WALL PER
 2010 FBC-B 1022.1. THERE IS NO CEILING IN THE
 MECHANICAL ROOM SEPERATING THE MECHANICAL ROOM FROM THE
 STAIRWELL.
  
 4B) COMPLIED.
  
 4C) NEW COMMENT: SHEET 710-HC-104 WITH THE MECHANICAL
 ROOM NOT HAVING WALLS THAT GO TO THE DECK ABOVE THE
 INTAKE DUCT WORK AS WELL AS THE MECHANICAL ROOM
 EQUIPMENT ARE STILL LOCATED IN THE STAIRWELL. IF THE
 PLANS DID HAVE A RATED CEILING INTHE MECHANICAL ROOM,
 AS IT APPEARS THE DESIGNER IS TRYING BECAUSE OF THE
 FIRE DAMPER SHOWN PLEASE REVIEW 2010 FBC-B 1022.4
 PENETRATIONS, THE FRESH AIR DUCT CAN NOT BE WITHIN THE
 STAIRWWELL, IT DOES NOT SERVE THE STAIRWELL.
  
 5) 2ND REQUEST MAY OR MAY NOT BE A ISSUE DEPENDING ON
 THE REDESIGN. SHEET 710-A1-303 IS MISSING FIRE DAMPER,
 PLEASE REVIEW 2010 FBC-B 1022.4. 1022.5 EXIT ENCLOSURE
 VENTILATION SYSTEMS SHALL BE INDEPENDENT OF OTHER
 BUILDING VENTILATION SYSTEMS.

 PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR

 PLEASE REMOVE THE SPECS, THE PERMIT WILL NOT BE ISSUED
 SINCE THEY END UP BEING BATCHED STAMPED. WE DO NOT
 REVIEW SPECIFICATIONS!!!!!! PLEASE SEPERATE THE REVIEW
 COMMENTS INTO A SEPERATE FOLDER FROM THE PRODUCT
