 COMMENTS.
 CODE: 2010 FBC.
  
 1- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. 103.2 OF 2010 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 2- AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD) TO VERIFY IF IMPACT FEES ARE
 DUE. BRING BACK STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID RECEIPT
 IF FEES ARE DUE. COUNTY IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE OF THE
 UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
  
 3- SHEET A-1: DESIGN CRITERIA, ENGINEER SPECIFIES THAT
 THIS BUILDING IS LOCATED ON EXPOSURE "B". ACCORDING TO
 SEC. R301.2.1.4.3 OF 2010 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE THIS
 BUILDING IS LOCATED ON EXPOSURE "C". REVISE DESIGN
 CRITERIA INFORMATION AND DOORS/ WINDOWS DESIGN
 PRESSURES AS REQUIRED.
  
 4- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO PROVIDE COMPLETE
 SPECIFICATIONS DETAILS ON PLANS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE OFFICE/GARAGE FIRE SEPARATION AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 R302.6 OF 2010 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE.
  
 5- SHEET A-2:
 A) PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN SPECIFIES OFFICE TRAY CEILING BY
 OWNER. ENGINEER OF RECORD TO PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING
 DETAILS. CLARIFY IF EXISTING TRUSSES OR ROOF RAFTERS
 ARE GOING TO BE CUT TO ALLOW FOR THE NEW TRAY CEILING.
 PROVIDE DETAILS SHOWING HOW THE EXISTING TRUSSES/ROOF
 RAFTERS ARE GOING TO BE REINFORCED TO KEEP THE
 STRUCTURAL STABILITY. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO
 FBC.
  
 B) BATHROOM CLOSET SHOWN ON THE PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN
 SHOWS THAT THE LAVATORY IS IN FRONT OF THE DOOR.
 THEREFORE, THE CLOSET IS NOT ACCESSIBLE. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC.
  
 6- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) DOUBLE CASEMENT WINDOW SIZE AS SHOWN ON PLANS. NOA
 07-0820.02 SUBMITTED DOESN'T COVER THE SIZE OF WINDOW
 SPECIFIED.
  
 B) FRENCH DOORS AS SHOWN ON PLANS. NOA 08-0821.09
 SUBMITTED WAS SUPERSEDED BY MIAMI-DADE. VISIT THE
 MIAMI-DADE WEBSITE AND DOWNLOAD CURRENT NOA AND
 RESUBMIT.
  
 7- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS
 (INCLUDING THE BAHAMA SHUTTERS) AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC TO VERIFY THAT PRODUCT
 APPROVALS MEET THE CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES.
  
 8- PROVIDE COMPLETE INSTALLATION SCHEDULE FOR THE
 INSTALLATION OF THE ALUMINUM BAHAMA SHUTTERS. CLEARLY
 IDENTIFY WHICH SPECIFIC SHUTTERS FROM NOA 09-0122.07
 SUBMITTED ARE GOING TO BE INSTALLED. AND SPECIFY
 SPECIFIC ANCHOR TYPE AND SPACING TO BE USED TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE DESIGN PRESSURES CALCULATED BY THE
 ENGINEER. SEC. R301.2.1.4.3.
  
 9- ACCORDING TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS AND
 PROFESSIONAL REGULATION (DBPR) THE CONTRACTOR NEEDS TO
 UPDATE HIS LICENSE. CONTRACTOR TO CONTACT DBPR TO
 UPDATE LICENSE STATUS. SEC. 105.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO
 FBC.
