 THRESHOLD INSPECTION PLAN FL S. S. 553.71(7) "
 THRESHOLD BUILDING" MEANING ANY BUILDING WHICH IS
 GREATER THAN (3) STORIES OR 50 FT IN HEIGHT, OR WHICH
 HAS AN ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION AS DENIED IN
 THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE WHICH EXCEEDS 5,000 SQ FT IN
 AREA AND AN OCCUPANT CONTENT OF GREATER THAN 500
 PERSONS.
  
 1A) 109.3.6.1 THE ENFORCING AGENCY SHALL REQUIRE A
 SPECIAL INSPECTOR TO PERFORM STRUCTURAL INSPECTIONS ON
 A THRESHOLD BUILDING PURSUANT TO A STRUCTURAL
 INSPECTION PLAN PREPARED BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD. THE
 STRUCTURAL INSPECTION PLAN MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE
 ENFORCING AGENCY PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF A BUILDING
 PERMIT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A THRESHOLD BUILDING.
 THE PURPOSE OF THE STRUCTURAL INSPECTION PLAN IS TO
 PROVIDE SPECIFIC INSPECTION PROCEDURES AND SCHEDULES SO
 THAT THE BUILDING CAN BE ADEQUATELY INSPECTED FOR
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE PERMITTED DOCUMENTS.

 CURRENTLY SINCE THE 2004 FBC WAS ADOPTED AND TYPE VI

 UPDATE PLANS, THIS DOES EFFECT THE FIRE RESISTANCE

 INDICATES THE EXISTING STEEL STUD FRAMEWORK ABOVE THE
 THE NEW STEEL TUBING STRUCTURAL FRAME IS INDICATED AS
 EXISTING.
 PLEASE CONFIRM THE EXISTING STUD WALL WAS BUILT USING
 STRUCTURAL STEEL STUDS 20 GAUGE AND NOT INTERIOR GAUGE
 STEEL STUDS. 2010 FBC-B 2506.2 & TABLE 2506.2.
