 OF AISLE WIDTHS WITH 2010 FBC-B 1017.4. ALSO PROVIDE AN
 AREA BREAK DOWN FOR OCCUPANCY LOADS USING 15 NET FOR
 UNCONCENTRATED TABLES AND CHAIRS, KITCHEN AREAS 200
 GROSS AND OFFICE SPACE 100 GROSS. IT APPEARS THE
 OCCUPANT LOAD WILL BE GREATER THAN 50 OCCUPANTS MAKING
 THIS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY TO A A-2 OCCUPANCY FOR
 RESTARAUNTS. 2010 FBC-B TABLE 1004.1.1.
  
 WITH THIS BEING A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY THE 2010 EXISTING
 BUILDING CODE WILL APPLY, CHAPTER 9,
  
 2) PLEASE PROVIDE A SURVEY OF THIS PROPERTY TO
 DETERMINE IF THIS IS A SINGLE TENANT BUILDING UNDER
 THIS PROPERTY CONTROL NUMBER, THIS DETERMINES WHICH
 SECTION TO USE IN THE EXISTING BUILDING CODE:
 901.3 FOR WHERE THE WHOLE BUILDING IS UNDER GOING A
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY OR
 901.3. FOR A PARTIAL CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY.
 EACH HAS SEPERATE REQUIREMENTS. FOR THIS REVIEW WE WILL
 USE WHOLE BUILDING UNDERGOING A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY.
  
 3) EXST BLDG CODE 904.1 FIRE PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS OF
 SECTION 912 SHALL APPLY WHERE A BUILDING OR PORTIONS
 THEREOF UNDERGO A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION.
 EXST BLDG CODE 912.2.1 FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM. WHERE A
 CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OCCURS THAT REQUIRES
 AN AUTOMATIC FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM TO BE PROVIDED BASED
 ON THE NEW OCCUPANCY IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 9 OF
 THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING, SUCH SYSTEM SHALL
 BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE AREA WHERE THE CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY OCCURS.
  
 4) EXST BLDG CODE 905.1 MEANS OF EGRESS IN PORTIONS OF
 BUILDINGS UNDERGOING A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 912.
 2010 FBC-B TABLE 1015.1 WILL REQUIRE TWO EXITS ISNCE
 THE OCCUPANCY LOAD IS OVER 49 OCCUPANTS, PLEASE PROVIDE
 THE 2ND EXIT. NOTE BUILDINGS THAT ARE SPRINKLERED SHALL
 HAVE THEIR EXITS A MINIMUM OF 1/3 THE DIAGONAL APART.

 5) ESXT BLDG CODE SECTION 906 ACCESSIBILITY ,906.1
 ACCESSIBILITY IN PORTIONS OF BUILDINGS UNDERGOING A
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION SHALL COMPLY WITH
 THE PROVISIONS OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE,
 ACCESSIBILITY.
 2010 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3
 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS,
 SYSTEMS, AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS
 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH :202.4.1
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST.
 ALTERATIONS MADE TO PROVIDE AN ACCESSIBLE PATH OF
 TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED AREA WILL BE DEEMED
 DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE OVERALL ALTERATION WHEN THE
 COST EXCEEDS 20% OF THE COST OF THE ALTERATION TO THE
 PRIMARY FUNCTION AREA. COSTS THAT MAY BE COUNTED AS
 EXPENDITURES REQUIRED TO PROVIDE AN ACCESSIBLE PATH OF
 TRAVEL MAY INCLUDE: (I) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING
 AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE AND AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE
 ALTERED AREA; (II) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH MAKING
 RESTROOMS ACCESSIBLE, SUCH AS INSTALLING GRAB BARS,
 ENLARGING TOILET STALLS, INSULATING PIPES, OR
 INSTALLING ACCESSIBLE FAUCET CONTROLS; (III) COSTS
 ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES, SUCH
 AS RELOCATING THE TELEPHONE TO AN ACCESSIBLE HEIGHT,
 INSTALLING AMPLIFICATION DEVICES, OR INSTALLING A TEXT
 TELEPHONE (TTY); (IV) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RELOCATING
 AN INACCESSIBLE DRINKING FOUNTAIN.
 202.4.2 ACCESSIBLE FEATURES IN THE EVENT OF
 DISPROPORTIONALITY.
 WHEN THE COST OF ALTERATIONS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE PATH
 OF TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED AREA FULLY ACCESSIBLE IS
 DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE COST OF THE OVERALL ALTERATION,
 THE PATH OF TRAVEL SHALL BE MADE ACCESSIBLE TO THE
 EXTENT THAT IT CAN BE MADE ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT INCURRING
 DISPROPORTIONATE COSTS. IN CHOOSING WHICH ACCESSIBLE
 ELEMENTS TO PROVIDE, PRIORITY SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THOSE
 ELEMENTS THAT WILL PROVIDE THE GREATEST ACCESS, IN THE
 FOLLOWING ORDER: (I) AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE; (II) AN
 ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE ALTERED AREA; (III) AT LEAST
 ONE ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM FOR EACH SEX OR A SINGLE UNISEX
 RESTROOM; (IV) ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES; (V) ACCESSIBLE
 DRINKING FOUNTAINS; AND (VI) WHEN POSSIBLE, ADDITIONAL
 ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS SUCH AS PARKING, STORAGE, AND
 ALARMS.
  
 NOTE THE EXISTING RESTROOM AT THE REAR OF THE
 RESTARAUNT WILL NEED TO HAVE A RAMP TO BE ACCESSIBLE,
 PROVIDE LANDING TOP & BOTTOM OF RAMP WILL REQUIRE
 HANDRAILS IF RAMP IS OVER 6" IN HEIGHT. SEE 2010
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE 405 RAMP REQUIREMENTS 505 HANDRAILS.
  
 6) SHEET 1.0A INDICATES THE USE OF NEW IN-SWINGING
