 1. THE PROPOSED AWNING COVERS PARKING SPACES AT THE
 REAR OF THE BUILDING. SEE FBC 2010 ACCESSIBLITY 208.3:
 WHERE PARKING SERVES MORE THAN ONE ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE,
 PARKING SPACES COMPLYING WITH 502 SHALL BE DISPERSED
 AND LOCATED ON THE SHORTEST ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE
 ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCES. THIS REQUIREMENT IS BASED ON
 FEDERAL ADA. IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT THIS IS CONSIDERED A
 "RESTRICTED ENTRANCE" (ENTRANCE NOT OPEN TO GENERAL
 PUBLIC, IS THIS CORRECT?).
  
 2. SEE ALSO SECTION 201.1, 202.3, 202.3.1. SECTION
 208.3.1 STATES THAT PARKING SHALL BE PERMITTED TO BE
 LOCATED IN DIFFERENT PARKING FACILITIES IF
 SUBSTANTIALLY EQUIVALENT IN TERMS OF USER CONVENIENCE.
 208.2 STATES THAT WHERE MORE THAN ONE PARKING FACILITY
 IS PROVIDED ON A SITE, THE NUMBER OF ACCESSIBLE SPACES
 PROVIDED ON THE SITE SHALL BE CALCULATED ACCORDING TO
 THE NUMBER OF SPACES REQUIRED FOR EACH PARKING
 FACILITY. SEE ALSO SECTION 103, EQUIVALENT
 FACILITATION.
  
 3. ALTHOUGH IT APPEARS THAT A FULLY ACCESSIBLE PARKING
 SPACE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS COVERED PARKING FACILITY,
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL HAS ALLOWED THE OPTION OF
 EQUIVALENT FACILITATION. AS THIS PARKING FACILITY
 (COVERED PARKING SERVING THE OFFICE BUILDING) IS
 DESIGNATED PARKING ONLY, ONE FULLY "ADAPTABLE" PARKING
 SPACE MAY BE PROVIDED IN LIEU OF A FULLY ACCESSIBLE
 SPACE (DESIGNATED AND SIGNAGE, RESTRICTED USE).
  
 THE ADAPTABLE SPACE SHALL INCLUDE THE WIDTH AND
 CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR AN ACCESSIBLE SPACE. THE ACCESS
 ASILE IS TO BE HATCHED. THE SPACE CAN BE USED AS A
 NON-ACCESSIBLE SPACE UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT SOMEONE
 PERMITTED TO USE THIS PARKING AREA REQUESTS
 ACCOMODATION.
  
 4. SHOW LOWEST HEIGHT AT BOTTOM OF STRUCTURE, SECTION
 208.2.4, 502.5.
  
 IF THE EQUIVALENT FACILITATION IS AGREED TO IN LIEU OF
 A FULLY ACCESSIBLE SPACE, PLEASE PROVIDE A LETTER
 SIGNED BY MANAGEMENT AGREEING TO TERMS. THIS MAY BE
 DONE VIA EMAIL. THE PERMIT MAY BE ISSUED WITH PROVISO
 THAT A STRIPING PERMIT BE APPLIED FOR IN ORDER TO
 RESTRIPE THIS AREA.
  
 PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THE SPACE IS TO BE LOCATED ON
 AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE OF 44". ALTHOUGH THE PERMIT MAY BE
 ISSUED WITH PROVISO, IT IS RECOMMENDED TO APPLY FOR THE
 STRIPING AT THIS TIME.
