 1) A RESIDENT INSPECTOR WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THIS
 PROJECT PER WEST PALM BEACH ADMINISTRATIVE CODE
 SECTION:
 110.3.9 OTHER INSPECTIONS SERVICES. THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL MAY MAKE, OR CAUSE TO BE MADE BY OTHERS, THE
 INSPECTIONS REQUIRED BY SECTION 109. HE/SHE MAY ACCEPT
 REPORTS OF INSPECTORS OF RECOGNIZED INSPECTION
 SERVICES, PROVIDED THAT AFTER INVESTIGATION HE/SHE IS
 SATISFIED AS TO THEIR QUALIFICATIONS AND RELIABILITY. A
 CERTIFICATE CALLED FOR BY ANY PROVISION OF THE
 TECHNICAL CODES SHALL NOT BE BASED ON SUCH REPORTS
 UNLESS THE SAME ARE IN WRITING AND CERTIFIED BY A
 RESPONSIBLE OFFICER OF SUCH SERVICE. THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL MAY REQUIRE THE OWNER TO EMPLOY AN INSPECTION
 SERVICE IN THE FOLLOWING INSTANCES:
 1. FOR BUILDINGS OR ADDITIONS OF TYPE I OR II
 CONSTRUCTION
 2. FOR ALL MAJOR STRUCTURAL ALTERATIONS
 3. WHERE THE CONCRETE DESIGN IS BASED ON COMPRESSIVE
 STRENGTH (F ?C) IN EXCESS OF 3000 POUNDS PER SQUARE
 INCH
 4. FOR PILE DRIVING
 5. FOR BUILDINGS WITH AREA GREATER THAN 20,000 SQUARE
 FOOT
 6. FOR BUILDINGS MORE THAN 2 STORIES IN HEIGHT
 7. FOR BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES OF UNUSUAL DESIGN OR
 METHODS OF CONSTRUCTION
 SUCH INSPECTORS SHALL BE ADEQUATELY PRESENT AT TIMES
 WORK IS UNDERWAY ON THE STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS OF THE
 BUILDING. SUCH INSPECTORS SHALL BE A REGISTERED
 ARCHITECT, OR ENGINEER, OR A PERSON LICENSED UNDER
 CHAPTER 468, PART XII, FLORIDA STATUTES. SUCH
 INSPECTORS SHALL SUBMIT WEEKLY PROGRESS REPORTS
 INCLUDING THE DAILY INSPECTIONS TO THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL, AND INCLUDING A CODE COMPLIANCE OPINION OF
 THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR.

 BOLTED TO OTHER WALL SECTIONS BELOW WITHOUT THE USE OF
 A HAUNCH BEAM, PLEASE PROVIDE STRUCTURAL CALCULATIONS
 FOR THE LOADSTO BE RESISTED FOR THE UPPER PORTION OF
 THIS WALL SECTION, FOR GRAVITY LOADS, UPLIFT LOADS &
 LATERAL LOADS.

 ACCESSIBLE WALKWAY, DROPED CURB SECTION , PLEASE REVIEW

 4) SHEET A2.2 AT DOOR OPENING # 6, THE NEW FIRE RATED
 TILT WALL STOPS SHORT OF THE DOOR OPENING. TABLE 602
 VERSES SECTION 503.1. SHEET A2.1 INDICATES A SECTION OF
 WALL FROM THE EXISTING BUILDING AS A 4 HR FIRE RATED
 WALL AND A NEW SECTION OF TILT WALL AS A 4 HR RATED
 SECTION OF WALL.
 A) TBEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT
 FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL
 PERMIT SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND
 A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT

 INFORMATION.HE EXISTING BUILDING APPEARS TO HAVE
 COLUMNS WITH BLOCK INFILL, IF SO PROVIDE THE EQUIVALENT

 B) THE PROPERTY APPRAISERS WEB SITE SHOWS THE ASHLEY
 FURNATURE STORE ON SEPERATE PROPERTY, THIS REQUIRES A 3
 HR RATED FROM BOTH PROPERTIES NOT A 4 HR RATED FIRE
 WALL. A UNITY OF TITLE BETWEEN THE LOTS WOULD THEN MAKE
 THE 4 HR FIRE WALL FOR TWO INDEPENDANT BUILDINGS ON THE
 SAME LOT. TABLE 603 BUILDING TYPE IIIA & IIIB/
 MERCANTILE OCCUPANCY.
 C) PLEASE PROVIDE DETAIL OF HOW THE TWO FIRE RATED
 WALLS WILL BE FIRE CAULKED OR SEALED BETWEEN THE TWO
 WALLS.
 D) PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PER SECTION
 FBC-B 706.5 HORIZONTAL CONTININUITY.
  
 5) SHEET A2.2 DOOR OPENING # 8 PROVIDE WALL DETAIL FOR
 FIRE RATED WALL, AGAIN THE RATED FIRE WALL STOPS SHORT
 OF THE OPENING PROTECTIVES, PROVIDE A DETAIL OF THIS
 AREA, TABLE 602.
