 3. THIS APPEARS TO BE A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY. PLEASE
 REVISE LS100 AND INCLUDE IN DESIGN CRITERIA. CONFIRM
 COMPLIANCE WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS, SEE FBC EXISTING

 4. DINING AND BAR AREA REQUIRE TWO EXITS, FBC 1015.1,
 LS100. OCCUPANT LOAD IS OVER 50. PLEASE CONSIDER THE
 FOLLOWING WHEN REVISING THE PLAN TO SHOW TWO EXITS:
  
 IF DOOR 103 IS INTENDED FOR USE AS THE SECOND MEANS OF
 EGRESS, PLEASE SEE FBC 1024.1, EXIT DISCHARGE SHALL NOT
 REENTER A BUILDING, AND SEE COMMENT 5 REGARDING THE
 OUTDOOR WAITING AREA.
  
 PLEASE SEE FBC 1015.2, EXITS TO BE LOCATED IN A MANNER
 WHICH MAKES THEIR AVAILABILITY OBVIOUS. THE EXITING
 STRATEGY FOR THE SECOND DINING AND BAR EXIT IS NOT
 CLEAR. PLEASE REVISE PLAN TO SHOW TWO EXITS AND CLARIFY
 HOW THE AVAILABILITY IS OBVIOUS TO THE OCCUPANTS.
  
 PLEASE NOTE THAT EVEN IF THE OUTDOOR WAITING AREA IS
 CONSIDERED THE OUTDOORS AND NOT A PART OF THIS
 BUILDING, IT APPEARS THAT OCCUPANTS IN THE DINING AND
 BAR AREA, IF UNABLE TO EXIT THROUGH DOOR 100 DUE TO A
 HAZARD IN THAT ROOM, WOULD BE FORCED TO USE THE REAR
 EXIT WHICH HAS AN EXIT DISCHARGE ADJACENT TO THE
 HAZARD. AS THERE IS NO FIRE RATED ASSEMBLY (GLASS
 STOREFRONT), THERE WOULD BE NO PROTECTION FROM THE
 HAZARD. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME TO DISCUSS.
  
 5. EXITS ARE TO BE REMOTELY LOCATED, FBC 1015.2.1.
 PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION REGARDING THE NATURE OF THE
 OUTDOOR WAITING AREA. BASED ON THE FLOOR PLAN LS100,
 SURVEY (APPEARS TO SHOW THIS AREA AS COVERED CONCRETE),
 ROOF PLAN, THIS APPEARS TO BE A PART OF THE BUILDING.
 THE PAGE LABELED SITE APPEARS TO SHOW A FENCE OR WALL
 ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE OUTDOOR WAITING AREA. IT IS NOT
 CLEAR WHICH DOOR OR GATE IS THE EXIT AS DEFINED IN FBC
 1002 AND, IF DOOR 103A IS THE EXIT AS SHOWN ON LS100.
 PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME TO DISCUSS.
  
 6. SEE FBC1024.4, EXIT DISCHARGE SHALL BE SUFFICIENTLY
 OPEN TO THE EXTERIOR SO AS TO MINIMIZE THE ACCUMULATION
 OF SMOKE AND GASES. PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION REGARDING
 THE OUTDOOR WAITING AREA IF THIS AREA IS TO BE USED AS
 EXIT DISCHARGE.
  
 7. FBC 1014.2(2), MEANS OF EGRESS SHALL NOT PASS
 THROUGH THE KITCHEN, SEE OFFICE LS100.
  
 8. PLAN STATES THAT THIS BUILDING IS FULLY SPRINKLERED.
 IF A SPRINKLER EXEMPTION IS TO BE USED, PLEASE PROVIDE
 A BASIC SPRINKLER HEAD LAYOUT PLAN. IF THIS BUILDING
 DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE SPRINKLERS INSTALLED, AND IF A
 SPRINKLER EXEMPTION IS USED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH FBC,
 HYDRAULIC CALCS MAY BE REQUIRED AT THIS TIME (PRIOR TO
 BUILDING PERMIT ISSUANCE) SUBJECT TO FIRE DEPARTMENT?S
 DISCRETION. COMPLETE PLANS, SPECS, HYDRAULIC CALCS WILL
 BE REQUIRED WITH THE SPRINKLER PERMIT APPLICATION.

 ROOF, MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT STANDS.
  
 FOR THE ROOF, THE ASSEMBLY PROPOSED IS TO BE INDICATED
 AND CALCULATIONS FOR ZONES 2 AND 3, IF REQUIRED, ARE TO
 BE SUBMITTED. THIS CAN BE DONE EITHER WITH THE MASTER
 PERMIT OR WITH THE ROOF SUB PERMIT, SEPARATE REVIEW
 REQUIRED.
  
 10. PRODUCT APPROVALS ARE TO BE REVIEWED BY DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL, FBC 106.3.3.
  
 11. FBC 1008.1.9 AND 1008.1.8.3 ITEM 2, PLEASE CONFIRM
 THAT PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR THE DOORS INCLUDE REQUIRED
 PANIC HARDWARE AS APPLICABLE.
  
 12. FBC 1003.6, MEANS OF EGRESS CONTINUITY, PLEASE
 PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION REGARDING THE DOOR OR GATE
 SHOWN AT THE SOUTH END OF THE OUTDOOR WAITING AREA.
  
 13. PROVIDE AN OCCUPANT LOAD FOR THE OUTDOOR WAITING
 AREA, FBC 1004.
  
 14. LS100 STATES THIS BUILDING AS TYPE IIA
 CONSTRUCTION. PLEASE SEE FBC 602.2 AND FBC 603. S200
 SHOWS WOOD TRUSSES AND PLYWOOD SHEATHING (ONE EXAMPLE),
 NOT PERMITTED IN A TYPE II NON COMBUSTIBLE BUILDING
 EXCEPT AS PERMITTED BY FBC 603. EITHER REVISE BUILDING
 TYPE OR REVISE PLAN TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH TYPE IIA.
 NOTE THAT COMBUSTIBLES SUCH AS PVC ARE NOT PERMITTED IN
 A NON COMBUSTIBLE BUILDING.
  
 15. S100, WIND DESIGN CRITERIA STATES THAT THIS IS
 DESIGNED TO EXPOSURE B. PLEASE SEE
 FBC1609.4.2. EITHER REVISE TO EXPOSURE C OR PROVIDE
 RATIONAL ANALYSIS FOR REDUCED PRESSURES IN THE
 TRANSITION ZONE. ALSO REVISE PRESSURES ON A500, S302 AS
 NEEDED.
  
 16. SEE FBC1006 AND REVISE PLAN TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 MEANS OF EGRESS ILLUMINATION FOR THE OUTDOOR WAITING
 AREA.
  
 17. FBC 11-5.2, PROVIDE A DETAIL FOR THE BAR.
  
 18. FBC 11 5.1, SHOW HOW ACCESSIBLE SEATING WILL BE
 ADDRESSED FOR THE DINING, OUTDOOR WAITING, AND OUTDOOR
 DINING.
  
 19. DOOR 103A DOES NOT MEET THE MINIMUM WIDTH REQUIRED
 BY FBC 11-4.13.4.
