 SYSTEMS, AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS
 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) IS THIS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY?
  
 2) SHEET S-1 SECTION A-A INDICATES THE REMOVAL OF A
 BLOCK WALL, SHORING UP A 8X12 4 BAR BEAM AND APPLYING A
 4X6 ANGLE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE BEAM. NOTES ALSO
 INDICATE THE USE OF A 4"X4" STEEL COLUMN WITH A TOP AND
 BOTTOM PLATE 7"X7". THE PLANS ARE NOT CLEAR AS TO HOW
 THE STEEL ANGLE AND COLUMN ARE TO BE JOINED TOGETHER BY
 BOLTING OR WELDING THE COLUMN TO THE STEEL ANGLE? IF
 THE TWO ARE TO BE WELDED WHAT IS THE TYPE OF WELD, THIS
 IS NOT KNOWN OF THE BOTTOM WELD? 106.1.2 ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION REQUIRED.
  
 3) FOR THE SAME CONCRETE BEAM AND STEEL COLUMN
 CONFIGURATION, WHERE THE BLOCK WALL WALL IS REMOVED, IS
 THERE ANY PROVISIONS TO BE MADE HOW THE WEIGHT WILL BE
 TRANSFERRED TO THE FOUNDATION BELOW? ARE THE BLOCK
 CAVITIES TO BE FILLED ? ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 REQUIRED?
  
 4) THE OTHER SECTION B-B IS FOR THE RAFTERS AND OR
 CEILING JOIST. ARE THE EXISTING ROOF FRAMING MEMBERS
 SPANNING THE 18'-2" CLEAR OR IS THERE A SPLICE OVER THE
 EXISTING BEARING WALL THAT IS BEING REMOVED? IF THERE
 IS A SPLICE OVER THE EXISTING BEARING WALL THE NEW
 GLULAM BEAM IS OVER 3'-6" AWAY FROM THE SPLICE POINT?
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED?
  
 5) THE NEW GLULAM BEAM IS TO BE 5 1/2"X 12" PLEASE
 PROVIDE PRODUCT REPORT FOR WHICH HGUS HANGER YOU ENTEND
 ON INSTALLING AND TO WHAT TYPE OF MATERIALS THIS HANGER
 WILL BE ATTACHED TO. IT APPEARS THAT THE ONE END WILL
 BE ATTACHING INTO THE 4X6 STEEL ANGLE. NOTE MOST
 MANUFACTURERS OF HANGERS WILL VOID THE APPROVALS IF
 THEY ARE WELDED AT ALL.
  
 6) ARE THERE ANY FINSIHES BEING REPLACED, WALLS AND OR
 CEILING?
  
 7) S-1 INDICATES A NEW REAR DOOR LOCATION BUT THERE ARE
 NO STRUCTURAL DETAILS INDICATING HOW THE MWFRS WILL
 REMAIN , NO COLUMN, LENTAL DETAILS. MISSING WIND DESIGN
 CRITERIA.FBC-B 1609.
  
 8) EXISTING BUILDING CODE 808 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.
 ALTERATIONS SUBJECT TO THIS CHAPTER SHALL COMPLY WITTH
 THE REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER 13 FOR THE FBC-B.
  
 BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT
 FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL
 PERMIT SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND
 A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT
