 2) THE LAST KNOWN USE OF THIS SPACE WAS A DRESS SHOP
 MAKING THIS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY. THE 2007/09 FBC
 EXISTING BUILDING CODE CHAPTER 9 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 SECTION EXST BLDG COE 904.1 . FIRE PROTECTION
 REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 912 SHALL APPLY WHERE A
 BUILDING OR PORTIONS THEREOF UNDERGO A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION.
  
 EXST BLDG CODE 912.2 FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS. FIRE
 PROTECTION SYSTEMS SHALL BE PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 SECTIONS 912.2.1 AND 912.2.2.
  
 2A) EXST BLDG CODE 912.2.1 FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM. WHERE
 A CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OCCURS THAT
 REQUIRES AN AUTOMATIC FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM TO BE
 PROVIDED BASED ON THE NEW OCCUPANCY IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 CHAPTER 9 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING , SUCH
 SYSTEM SHALL BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE AREA WHERE THE
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY OCCURS.
  
 2007/09 FBC-B 903.2 WHERE REQUIRED. APPROVED AUTOMATIC
 SPRINKLER SYSTEMS IN NEW BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES SHALL
 BE PROVIDED IN THE LOCATIONS DESCRIBED IN THIS SECTION.
 FBC-B 903.2.1.2 GROUP A-2. AN AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER
 SYSTEM SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR GROUP A-2 OCCUPANCIES
 WHERE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS EXISTS:
 1. THE FIRE AREA EXCEEDS 5,000 SQUARE FEET (464.5 M2).
 2. THE FIRE AREA HAS AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 100 OR MORE.
 3. THE FIRE AREA IS LOCATED ON A FLOOR OTHER THAN THE
 LEVEL OF EXIT DISCHARGE.
 4. NIGHTCLUBS OR SIMILAR USAGE WHEN OCCUPANT LOAD IS
 100 OR MORE.
 903.3 INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS. AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE DESIGNED AND INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH SECTIONS 903.3.1 THROUGH 903.3.7.
 903.4 SPRINKLER SYSTEM MONITORING AND ALARMS. ALL
 VALVES CONTROLLING THE WATER SUPPLY FOR AUTOMATIC
 SPRINKLER SYSTEMS, PUMPS, TANKS, WATER LEVELS AND
 TEMPERATURES, CRITICAL AIR PRESSURES AND WATER-FLOW
 SWITCHES ON ALL SPRINKLER SYSTEMS SHALL BE ELECTRICALLY
 SUPERVISED IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 72.
 903.4.1 SIGNALS. ALARM, SUPERVISORY AND TROUBLE SIGNALS
 SHALL BE DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT AND AUTOMATICALLY
 TRANSMITTED TO AN APPROVED CENTRAL STATION, REMOTE
 SUPERVISING STATION OR PROPRIETARY SUPERVISING STATION
 AS DEFINED IN NFPA 72 OR, WHEN APPROVED BY THE FIRE
 CODE OFFICIAL, SHALL SOUND AN AUDIBLE SIGNAL AT A
 CONSTANTLY ATTENDED LOCATION.
  
  
 2B) EXST BLDG CODE 912.2.2 FIRE ALARM AND DETECTION
 SYSTEM. WHERE A CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION
 OCCURS THAT REQUIRES A FIRE ALARM AND DETECTION SYSTEM
 TO BE PROVIDED BASED ON THE NEW OCCUPANCY IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH CHAPTER 9 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING ,
 SUCH SYSTEM SHALL BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE AREA WHERE
 THE CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY OCCURS. EXISTING ALARM
 NOTIFICATION APPLIANCES SHALL BE AUTOMATICALLY
 ACTIVATED THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING. WHERE THE BUILDING
 IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH A FIRE ALARM SYSTEM, ALARM
 NOTIFICATION APPLIANCES SHALL BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT
 THE AREA WHERE THE CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY OCCURS AND SHALL
 BE AUTOMATICALLY ACTIVATED.
  
 3) PLEASE PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION FOR THE VERTICAL
 ACCESSIBILITY LIFT IN COMPLIANCE WITH FBC-B 11-4.11
 PLATFORM LIFTS MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS OF ASME A17.1.
  
 4) PLEASE PROVIDE A CURRENT SSURVEY, IT APPEARS THAT
 THE NEW BIFOLD FRONT ENTRY DOORS MAY CROSS THE PROPERTY
 LINE, NO DETERMINATION CAN BE MADE AT THIS TIME.
 2007/09 FBC-B 3202.2 DOORS AND WINDOWS SHALL NOT OPEN
 OR PROJECT INTO THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY.

 106.3.3 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE
 REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9B-72 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND
 APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO
 SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.

 LEVEL TO HAVE AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 39 PEOPLE, AND A
 TRAVEL DISTANCE LESS THAN 75 FEET WHICH WILL MEET THE
 EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF OF FBC-B 505.3. NO OCCUPANT LOAD
 IS FIGURED FOR THE NEW BALCONY, IF FIGURED AS A DANCE
 FLOOR IT WILL PUT THE MEZZANINE LEVEL OVER 50 OCCUPANTS
