 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS,
 SYSTEMS, AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS
 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) A CONTRACTOR EITHER CGC OR CBC MUST SIGN ON TO THE
 PERMIT APPLICATION AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE
 PERMIT.
  
 2) PLEASE VERIFY WHICH OF THE ADDRESSES ARE CORRECT THE
 PERMIT APPLICATION OR THE PLANS. DISCREPANCY.
  
 3) THE DESIGNER OF RECORD WILL NEED TO DECIDE IF THIS
 PROJECT IS TO BE DESIGNED AS A MIXED USE BUILDING USING
 THE NON-SEPERATION METHOD OR SEPERATION METHOD:
  
 NONSEPARATED OCCUPANCIES:
 508.3.2 NONSEPARATED OCCUPANCIES. BUILDINGS OR PORTIONS
 OF BUILDINGS THAT COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
 SECTION SHALL QUALIFY AS NONSEPARATED OCCUPANCIES.
  
 508.3.2.1 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION. NONSEPARATED
 OCCUPANCIES SHALL BE INDIVIDUALLY CLASSIFIED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 302.1. CODE REQUIREMENTS SHALL
 APPLY TO EACH PORTION OF THE BUILDING BASED ON THE
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OF THAT SPACE EXCEPT THAT THE
 MOST RESTRICTIVE APPLICABLE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 403
 AND CHAPTER 9 SHALL APPLY TO THE ENTIRE BUILDING OR
 PORTION THEREOF.
  
 508.3.2.2 ALLOWABLE AREA AND HEIGHT. THE ALLOWABLE AREA
 AND HEIGHT OF THE BUILDING OR PORTION THEREOF SHALL BE
 BASED ON THE MOST RESTRICTIVE ALLOWANCES FOR THE
 OCCUPANCY GROUPS UNDER CONSIDERATION FOR THE TYPE OF
 CONSTRUCTION OF THE BUILDING IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 503.1.
  
 508.3.2.3 SEPARATION. NO SEPARATION IS REQUIRED BETWEEN
 OCCUPANCIES.
  
 EXCEPTION: GROUP H-2, H-3, H-4 OR H-5 OCCUPANCIES SHALL
 BE SEPARATED FROM ALL OTHER OCCUPANCIES IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH SECTION 508.3.3.

 508.3.3 SEPARATED OCCUPANCIES. BUILDINGS OR PORTIONS OF
 BUILDINGS THAT COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
 SECTION SHALL QUALIFY AS SEPARATED OCCUPANCIES.
  
 508.3.3.1 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION. SEPARATED
 OCCUPANCIES SHALL BE INDIVIDUALLY CLASSIFIED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 302.1. EACH FIRE AREA SHALL
 COMPLY WITH THIS CODE BASED ON THE OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION OF THAT PORTION OF THE BUILDING.
  
 508.3.3.2 ALLOWABLE AREA. IN EACH STORY, THE BUILDING
 AREA SHALL BE SUCH THAT THE SUM OF THE RATIOS OF THE
 ACTUAL FLOOR AREA OF EACH OCCUPANCY DIVIDED BY THE
 ALLOWABLE AREA OF EACH OCCUPANCY SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE.
  
 508.3.3.3 ALLOWABLE HEIGHT. EACH OCCUPANCY SHALL COMPLY
 WITH THE HEIGHT LIMITATIONS BASED ON THE TYPE OF
 CONSTRUCTION OF THE BUILDING IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 503.1. THE HEIGHT, IN BOTH FEET AND STORIES, OF EACH
 FIRE AREA SHALL BE MEASURED FROM GRADE PLANE. THIS
 MEASUREMENT SHALL INCLUDE THE HEIGHT, IN BOTH FEET AND
 STORIES, OF INTERVENING FIRE AREAS.
  
 EXCEPTION: SPECIAL PROVISIONS PERMITTED BY SECTION 509.
  
 508.3.3.4 SEPARATION. INDIVIDUAL OCCUPANCIES SHALL BE
 SEPARATED FROM ADJACENT OCCUPANCIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 TABLE 508.3.3.
  
  
 IF THTE DESIGNER OF RECORD DECIDES TO USE THE
 NON-SEPERATED METHOD THE FOLLOWING WILL NEED TO BE
 DEMONSTRATED.
 STEP 1. DETERMINE WHICH OCCUPANCY GROUPS
 CLASSIFICATIONS ARE IN THE BUILDING.
  
 STEP 2. DETERMINE THE MINIMUM BUILDING TYPE OF
 CONSTRUCTION BASED ON THE HEIGHT & AREA OF THE BUILDING
 FOR EACH OCCUPANCY GROUP IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS
 CHAPTER AND TABLE 503. APPLY THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE
 MOST STRINGENT TO THE ENTIRE BUILDING.
  
 STEP 3. APPLY THE MOST RESTRICTIVE PROVISIONS CONTAINED
 IN SECTION 403 ( NOT APPLICABLE) AND CHAPTER 9
 THROUGHOUT ALL NONSEPARATED USES (SECTION 508.3.2.1).
  
 STEP 4. APPLY ALL OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF THE CODE TO
 EACH OCCUPANCY INDIVIDUALLY BASED ON THE SPECIFIC
 OCCUPANCY OF EACH SPACE( E.G. MEANS OF EGRESS) (SECTION
 508.3.2.1).
  
 4) ELEVATED PLATFORMS SHALL COMPLY WITH:
 4A) 1003.5 ELEVATION CHANGE. CHANGE IN LEVEL IN THE
 MEANS OF EGRESS SHALL BE EITHER BY A RAMP OR A STAIR.
 THE PRESENCE AND LOCATION OF RAMPED WALKWAYS SHALL BE
 READILY APPARENT.
  
 4B) 1003.5.1 WHERE A CHANGE IN LEVEL MEANS OF EGRESS
 NOT EXCEEDING 21 INCHES (533 MM) IS ACHIEVED BY A
 STAIR, THE MINIMUM TREAD DEPTH OF SUCH STAIR SHALL BE
 13 INCHES (330 MM) AND THE PRESENCE AND LOCATION OF
 EACH STEP SHALL BE READILY APPARENT. NOT SHOWN ON
 PLANS.
  
 5) BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT
 FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL
 PERMIT SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND
 A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT
