 #1 EXISTING DRAINAGE WILL CONFLICT WITH NEW FOUNDATION.
 COMPARE C-1 AND S-3.
  
 #2 SITE DESIGN MUST RETAIN 1ST INCH OF RAINFALL BEFORE
 DISCHARGE AT A CONTROL ELEVATION.
  
 #3 SITE DOMESTIC WATER METER WILL REQUIRE A BACKFLOW.
 SITE POSES A CHALLENGE AS THE DOMESTIC METER GOES
 DIRECTLY INTO NORTH BUILDING WALL WITH NO GREEN AREA. A
 NEW TAP LOCATED WHERE BACKFLOW WILL BE JUST INSIDE THE
 PROPERTY FOLLOWING THE CITY METER MAY BE NEEDED.
  
 #4 SITE PAVING AND DRAINAGE DESIGN WILL NEED SPOT
 ELEVATION OF EXISTING AND PROPOSED SO THAT WATER IS
 RETAINED ON-SITE PRIOR TO DISCHARGE.

 #10 SHOW CONNECTION OF ROOF DRAIN INTO STORM. ON THE
 PLANS IT DOES NOT CONNECT TO ANYTHING.
  
 # 11 PARKING LOT LAY-OUT DESIGN SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH THE ZONING ORDINANCE. PARKING STALLS AND AISLE
 DIMENSIONS MUST BE SHOWN ON DEVELOPMENT PLANS. ALL
 PARKING LOTS REGARDLESS OF SIZE SHALL PROVIDE FOR
 PROPER DRAINAGE. THE MINIMUM LONGITUDINAL GRADIENT
 (SLOPE) SHALL BE 0.4 PER CENT IN BOTH DIRECTIONS. ALL
 RUNOFF SHALL BE COLLECTED ON SITE, FOR PROVISIONS OF
 WATER QUALITY AND QUANTITY CONTROL, PRIOR TO DISCHARGE
 TO THE CITY'S DRAINAGE FACILITIES.
  
 # 12 WATER QUALITY RETENTION VOLUME CALCULATION:
 RETENTION OF THE 1ST INCH OVER THE PROJECT AREA OR 2.5
 TIMES THE PERCENTAGE OF IMPERVIOUS AREA WILL NEED TO BE
 DOCUMENTED FOR WATER QUALITY PURPOSES.

 GENERAL COMMENTS:
 EXISTING DEVELOPMENTS THAT PROPOSE ADDITIONAL
 STRUCTURES AND/OR PARKING FACILITIES FOR APPROVAL MUST
 PROVIDE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT AS REQUIRED ABOVE FOR THE
 NEW FACILITIES ONLY. HOWEVER, IT WILL BE THE
 RESPONSIBILITY AND A REQUIREMENT OF THE DEVELOPER'S
 ENGINEER TO DETERMINE AND CERTIFY THAT PROPOSED AND
 EXISTING FACILITIES TOGETHER WILL NOT ADVERSELY AFFECT
 THE SITE DRAINAGE, STATE AND/OR FEDERAL REGULATIONS AS
 A WHOLE OR THE EXISTING AND FUTURE WATER QUALITY
 RESULTING FROM ANY INCREASES TO THE EXISTING IMPERVIOUS
 AREAS OF THE SITE.
  
 EXISTING BUILDINGS WHICH HAVE PLUMBING DRAIN OUTLETS AT
 AN ELEVATION 12? OR LESS ABOVE THE GROUND SURFACE OF
 THE NEXT UPSTREAM MANHOLE, WHERE THE ELEVATION OF ANY
 FLOOR IS AT OR BELOW THE INVERT OF THE ADJACENT CITY
 SANITARY SEWER MAIN OR
 IS LESS THAN 12?ABOVE THE GROUND SURFACE OF THE NEXT
 UPSTREAM MANHOLE, OR WHERE A CONDITION EXISTS WHERE A
 PLUG IN THE CITY SANITARY SEWER MAIN WILL CAUSE THE
 HYDRAULIC GRADIENT TO RISE ABOVE THE LOWEST FLOOR
 LEVEL.
  
 CITY ORDINANCE 3132-98, SECTION 32-18(A): "...IT SHALL
 BE UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON TO DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY
 DEPOSIT, DISCHARGE, SPILL, OR DUMP INTO ANY OF THE
 PUBLIC WATERS OR MUNICIPAL SEPARATE STORM SEWER SYSTEM
 WITHIN THE CITY, ANY SUBSTANCE OTHER THAN THAT COMPOSED
 ENTIRELY OF STORM WATER." AND, SECTION 32-18(C): "NO
 PERSON MAY MAINTAIN, USE OR ESTABLISH ANY DIRECT OR
 INDIRECT CONNECTION TO THE STORM WATER SYSTEM THAT
 RESULTS IN ANY DISCHARGE IN VIOLATION OF THIS
 ORDINANCE. THIS PROHIBITION IS RETROACTIVE AND APPLIES
 TO CONNECTIONS MADE IN THE PAST, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER
 MADE UNDER A PERMIT, OR OTHER AUTHORIZATION, OR WHETHER
 PERMISSIBLE UNDER LAWS OR PRACTICES APPLICABLE OR
 PREVAILING AT THE TIME THE CONNECTION WAS MADE."
  
 EXFILTRATION TRENCHES ARE DISCOURAGED BECAUSE THE
 EXFILTRATION THAT THEY PROVIDE ARE FOUND TO DECREASE
 WITH AGE, IF THEY ARE NOT PROPERLY MAINTAINED OR
 REPLACED WHEN THEY DO NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICES INTENDED
 BY THE DESIGN. HOWEVER, IF THE DEVELOPER'S ENGINEER,
 DEVELOPER AND/OR OWNER DETERMINES THAT EXFILTRATION
 TRENCHES ARE TO BE PROVIDED FOR WATER QUALITY OR
 QUANTITY, THEIR DESIGN MUST CONFORM TO THE METHODOLOGY
 OF SFWMD. SITE'S HYDRAULIC CONDUCTIVITY TEST REPORTS AT
 THE LOCATION OF THE PROPOSED TRENCH SHALL BE SUBMITTED
 TO THE CITY ENGINEER TOGETHER WITH THE CALCULATIONS;
 SITE DEVELOPMENTS THAT USE EXFILTRATION TRENCHES FOR
 BOTH, WATER QUALITY AND QUANTITY WITHOUT OVERFLOW
 CAPABILITIES MUST PROVIDE ENOUGH TRENCH CAPACITY TO
 HANDLE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE POST-DEVELOPMENT AND
 PRE-DEVELOPMENT RUNOFF.
  
 CHAPTER 62.302, F.A.C. EFFECTIVELY STATES THAT THE SITE
 IS NOT ALLOWED TO DISCHARGE ANY QUANTITY OF WATER THAT
 VIOLATES STATE WATER QUALITY STANDARDS. CITY ORDINANCE
 3132-98, SECTION 32-18(A) STATES THAT IT IS A VIOLATION
 TO DISCHARGE ANYTHING EXCEPT STORM WATER INTO THE
 CITY'S MS4. THE CITY HAS THE AUTHORITY AND OBLIGATION
 TO ENFORCE THESE RESTRICTIONS. IF THE APPLICANT'S
 PROPOSED SYSTEM IS NOT PROVIDING SUFFICIENT WATER
 QUALITY TREATMENT (SO THAT ANY DISCHARGE IS FREE OF ALL
 BUT STORM WATER RUN-OFF), THEN APPLICANT MUST RE-DESIGN
 THE SYSTEM.
