 WHERE PERSONS ARE ADMITTED TO THE BUILDING AT TIMES
 WHEN SEATS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AND ARE ALLOWED TO WAIT IN
 A LOBBY OR SIMILAR SPACE, SUCH USE OF LOBBY OR SIMILAR
 SPACE SHALL NOT ENCROACH UPON THE REQUIRED CLEAR WIDTH
 OF THE MEANS OF EGRESS. SUCH WAITING AREAS SHALL BE
 SEPARATED FROM THE REQUIRED MEANS OF EGRESS BY
 SUBSTANTIAL PERMANENT PARTITIONS OR BY FIXED RIGID
 RAILINGS NOT LESS THAN 42 INCHES (1067 MM) HIGH. SUCH
 FOYER, IF NOT DIRECTLY CONNECTED TO A PUBLIC STREET BY
 ALL THE MAIN ENTRANCES OR EXITS, SHALL HAVE A STRAIGHT
 AND UNOBSTRUCTED CORRIDOR OR PATH OF TRAVEL TO EVERY

 2011. THE OCCUPANT LOAD ANALYSIS UNDER THE REALISTIC
 LOAD DOES NOT INCLUDE LOADS
 FROM A FIRST FLOOR CONCENTRATED LOBBY TO BE INCLUDED IN
 THE TOTAL LOAD COUNT. SECTION 1025.4 MAKES THE
 STIPULATION THAT THE WAITING AREAS SHALL BE SEPERATED
 BY PARTITION OR FIXED RIGID RAILS. IN THE AI OCCUPANCY
 TYPE THE CODE IS CLEAR THE LOBBY AREA IS TO BE
 CONSIDERED AS PART OF THE TOTAL OCCUPANT LOAD SINCE
 MANY TIMES A SHOW MAY BE EXITING WHILE THE LOBBY IS
 FULL AND STAGED FOR THE NEXT SHOW. WITHIN THTE STAGING
 AREA DOORS SHOULD BE DESIGNATED FOR THESE OCCUPANTS IN
 CASE OF EMERGENCY. YOU MAY DEDUCT THE CLEAR EGRESS PATH
 FOR THE PATRONS EXITING THE THEATER.
 I CALCULATED FOR THE FIRST FLOOR 76'X5'=380 SQ FT/ 7=
 55 OCCUPANTS DROPPING THE FIRST FLOOR LOBBY FROM 235 TO
 180. EVEN WITH THIS DEDUCTION TTHE OCCUPANCY LOAD STILL
 IS OVER 500 AT 571 ( THIS IS USING THE 25 OCCUPANT LOAD
 FOR THE STAGE AND NOT MAXIMUM OF 76). THIS OCCUPANT
 LOAD WILL STILL BY DEFINTION CREATE THRESHOLD
 REQUIREMENTS BY FL S 553.71(7).

 THRESHOLD BUILDING" MEANING ANY BUILDING WHICH IS
 GREATER THAN (3) STORIES OR 50 FT IN HEIGHT, OR WHICH
 HAS AN ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION AS DENIED IN
 THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE WHICH EXCEEDS 5,000 SQ FT IN
 AREA AND AN OCCUPANT CONTENT OF GREATER THAN 500

 TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT AS PART OF THE TOTAL OCCUPANT LOAD
 FOR THIS BUILDING. ALL AGREE THE CODE AND CODE
 COMMENTARY INDICATE IN 2007/2009 FBC-B 1025.4 THE
