 FLUSH BOLTS MEETING THE ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS AS
 IN HARDWARE GROUP 4.
  
 11-4.1.6 ACCESSIBLE BUILDINGS: ALTERATIONS.1) GENERAL.
 ALTERATIONS TO EXISTING BUILDINGS AND FACILITIES SHALL
 COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING:
 B) IF EXISTING ELEMENTS, SPACES, OR COMMON AREAS ARE
 ALTERED, THEN EACH SUCH ALTERED ELEMENT, SPACE,
 FEATURE, OR AREA SHALL COMPLY WITH THE APPLICABLE

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION. IF THE
 APPLICABLE PROVISION FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION REQUIRES THAT
 AN ELEMENT, SPACE, OR COMMON AREA BE ON AN ACCESSIBLE
 ROUTE, THE ALTERED ELEMENT, SPACE, OR COMMON AREA IS
 NOT REQUIRED TO BE ON AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE EXCEPT AS
 PROVIDED IN SECTION 11-4.1.6(2), ALTERATIONS TO AN AREA
 CONTAINING A PRIMARY FUNCTION.
  
 11-4.1.3(7)(C) EACH DOOR THAT IS AN ELEMENT OF AN
 ACCESSIBLE ROUTE SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 11-4.13.
 11-4.13.9 DOOR HARDWARE. HANDLES, PULLS, LATCHES,
 LOCKS, AND OTHER OPERATING DEVICES ON ACCESSIBLE DOORS
 SHALL HAVE A SHAPE THAT IS EASY TO GRASP WITH ONE HAND
 AND DOES NOT REQUIRE TIGHT GRASPING, TIGHT PINCHING, OR
 TWISTING OF THE WRIST TO OPERATE. LEVER-OPERATED
 MECHANISMS, PUSH-TYPE MECHANISMS, AND U-SHAPED HANDLES
 ARE ACCEPTABLE DESIGNS. WHEN SLIDING DOORS ARE FULLY
 OPEN, OPERATING HARDWARE SHALL BE EXPOSED AND USABLE
 FROM BOTH SIDES. HARDWARE REQUIRED FOR ACCESSIBLE DOOR
 PASSAGE SHALL BE MOUNTED NO HIGHER THAN 48 INCHES (1219
 MM) ABOVE FINISH FLOOR.
  
 1B) BREAK ROOM 119 AND WINDOW # W119, TTHE WINDOW
 SCHEDULE DOESN'T INDICATE THE USE OF TEMPERED GLASS
 PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 2406.3 HAZARDOUS
 LOCATIONS 7. GLAZING IN AN INDIVIDUAL FIXED OR OPERABLE
 PANEL, OTHER THAN IN THOSE LOCATIONS DESCRIBED IN
 PRECEDING ITEMS 5 AND 6, WHICH MEETS ALL OF THE
 FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
 7.1. EXPOSED AREA OF AN INDIVIDUAL PANE GREATER THAN 9
 SQUARE FEET (0.84 M2);
 7.2. EXPOSED BOTTOM EDGE LESS THAN 18 INCHES (457 MM)
 ABOVE THE FLOOR;
 7.3. EXPOSED TOP EDGE GREATER THAN 36 INCHES (914 MM)
 ABOVE THE FLOOR; AND
 7.4. ONE OR MORE WALKING SURFACE(S) WITHIN 36 INCHES

 ROOM IS APPROXIMATELY 155 SQ FT WHICH WILL REQUIRE A
 SMOKE RATED WALL AND DOOR PLEASE REVIEW FBC-B SECTION
 508.2.2.1 AND TABLE 508.2 STORAGE ROOMS. WHERE TABLE
 508.2 PERMITS AN AUTOMATIC FIRE-EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM
 WITHOUT A FIRE BARRIER, THE INCIDENTAL USE AREA SHALL
 BE SEPARATED FROM THE REMAINDER OF THE BUILDING BY
 CONSTRUCTION CAPABLE OF RESISTING THE PASSAGE OF SMOKE.
 THE PARTITIONS SHALL EXTEND FROM THE FLOOR TO THE
 UNDERSIDE OF THE FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED FLOOR/CEILING
 ASSEMBLY OR FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED ROOF/CEILING ASSEMBLY
 ABOVE OR TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE FLOOR OR ROOF
 SHEATHING, OR SUB DECK ABOVE. DOORS SHALL BE SELF- OR
 AUTOMATIC CLOSING UPON DETECTION OF SMOKE IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH SECTION 715.4.7.3. DOORS SHALL NOT HAVE AIR
 TRANSFER OPENINGS AND SHALL NOT BE UNDERCUT IN EXCESS
 OF THE CLEARANCE PERMITTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 80.
