 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) SUBMIT 2 COPIES OF CURRENT PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE
 HORIZONTAL SLIDING WINDOWS. THE ONES THAT WERE
 SUBMITTED HAVE BEEN REVISED BY NOA NO.09-1008.06.
  
 2) THE PRODUCT APPROVALS THAT WERE SUBMITTED FOR THE
 NEW SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS HAVE A MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURE
 OF POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE 60 PSI. THE WINDLOAD
 CALCULATIONS THAT WERE SUBMITTED SHOW THAT THE WINDOWS
 LOCATED IN WALL ZONE 5 HAVE NEGATIVE PRESSURES IN
 EXCESS OF NEGATIVE 60 PSI. SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR
 WINDOWS WITH A DESIGN PRESSURE OF MORE THAN - 63.7 PSI.
  
 3) FBC R703.6.3 REQUIRES A BOND BREAK BETWEEN THE
 EXTERIOR STUCCO AND THE WATER-RESISTIVE BARRIER. SHOW
 COMPLIANCE.
  
 4) THE EXTERIOR WALL DETAIL DOES NOT SPECIFY THE CLIPS
 OR STRAPS THAT WILL BE USED TO ATTACH THE STUDS TO THE
 TOP AND BOTTOM PLATES OR THE TRUSSES TO THE WALL.
 PLEASE REVISE THE DETAIL.
  
 5) THE GUIDELINES FOR HURRICANE RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION
 REQUIRES WALL BOTTOM PLATES TO BE ANCHORED TO THE
 FOUNDATION WITH A MINIMUM 5/8" DIAMETER BOLT AND 3 ' X
 3" X 1/8" WASHERS WITH A MINIMUM EMBEDMENT OF 7" IN
 CONCRETE WITH MAXIMUM SPACING OF 1-1/2 FT. PLEASE
 REVISE THE DETAIL.
  
 6) THE PLANS SPECIFY R-19 INSULATION IN THE EXTERIOR 2
 X 4 FRAME WALLS. R-19 REQUIRES A 2 X 6 FRAME WALL. THE
 ENERGY FORM ALLOWS R-13 WALL INSULATION IN 2 X 4 WALLS.
 PLEASE REVISE.
  
 7) BECAUSE STORAGE SPACE IS BEING CONVERTED INTO LIVING
 SPACE, THE PLANS WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE REVIEWED BY
 PALM BEACH COUNTY TO DETERMINE IF ANY IMPACT FEES WILL
 BE REQUIRED. THIS CAN BE DONE AFTER ALL OF THE REVIEWS
 HAVE BEEN PASSED.
  
 8) THE ZONING COMMENTS STATE THAT THE GARAGE CAN NOT BE
 CONVERTED INTO ANOTHER DWELLING UNIT WITH A KITCHEN.
 THE PLANS WILL NEED TO BE REVISED TO SHOW COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE ZONING COMMENTS.
