 3. SUBSTRATE SPECIFIED ON INSTALLATION SCHEDULE IS
 CONCRETE BLOCK, BUT CONNECTION TYPE A REQUIRES A
 CONCRETE SUBSTRATE. PLEASE REVISE INSTALLATION SCHEDULE
  
 2ND REVIEW, INSTALLATION SCHEDULE SUBSTRATE STATES:
 "CONC BLOCK." DOES THIS MEAN THAT ALL OPENINGS HAVE A
 CONCRETE BLOCK SUBSTRATE, OR THAT THIS IS CONCRETE AT
 THE TOP, BLOCK ON THE BOTTOM?
  
 4. THE REVISED INSTALLATION SCHEDULE HAS CHANGED EDGE
 DISTANCE FROM 3" TO 2". ANCHOR SPACING, 10", NO LONGER
 COMPLIES. PLEASE APPLY FACTOR .35 PER CHART ON SHEET

 ALSO PLEASE NOTE, I RECEIVED CLARIFICATION FROM WALTER
 TILLET, PE. A 3" EDGE DISTANCE ALSO REQUIRES A .35
 FACTOR. ONLY 3 1/2" EDGE DISTANCE FOR TAPCONS CAN
 UTILIZE THE SPACING IN THE CHARTS WITHOUT A .35 FACTOR.
  
  
 5. SEE ANCHOR CHART FOR CONNECTION TYPE D. SOMEONE
 CIRCLED 10" ON THE PRODUCCT APPROVAL, BUT THAT IS THE
 ROW FOR ALL POINTS SOLID SET. THE TAPCON ROW REQUIRES
 4" SPACING. PLEASE SEE THE LEGEND AT TOP LEFT CORNER OF
 SHEET 13.
  
 6. AS DISCUSSED, I PULLED TWO PLANS AT RANDOM TO
 RE-REVIEW INSTALLATION SCHEDULES ON ISSUED PERMITS IN
 ORDER TO DETERMINE WHY CONTRACTOR WAS ABLE TO OBTAIN
 PERMITS IN THE PAST BUT IS HAVING DIFFICULTIES AT THIS
 TIME. I FOUND THE FOLLOWING:
  
 10050282 WAS SUBMITTED INCORRECTLY BY CONTRACTOR. I HAD
 A DISCUSSION WITH THE CONTRACTOR, EXPLAINED ERRORS, AND
 REDLINED.
  
 08030066 WAS SUBMITTED WITHOUT AN INSTALLATION
 SCHEDULE, BUT ALL INFORMATION WAS PROVIDED IN AN
 ALTERNATE FORMAT. THE WOMAN WHO DID THE PAPERWORK AT
 THAT TIME DEVELOPED A FORM WHICH SHE TITLED "DRILLING
 REQUIREMENT" AFTER SHE AND I HAD NUMEROUS DISCUSSIONS
 REGARDING THE INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR PERMITTING.
  
 PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IN THE FUTURE PERMITS WITH
 INCORRECT INFORMATION SUBMITTED MAY BE ISSUED WITH
 PROVISO THAT CORRECTED (CODE COMPLIANT) PLANS BE
 SUBMITTED AS A REVISION (WITH REVISION FEES).
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, PLEASE PAY PLAN REVIEW FEE. THIS
 PROJECT WAS PULLED FROM REVIEW BECAUSE PLAN REVIEW FEES
 WERE NOT PAID AT TIME OF SUBMITTAL AS REQUIRED. DUE TO
 THE EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE PERMIT RUNNER,
 REVIEW HAS BEEN PERFORMED (CONTRARY TO DEPARTMENT
 POLICY) AS A COURTESY TO THE CONTRACTOR WHO APPEARS TO
 BE A VICTIM. HOWEVER, PLEASE PAY PLAN REVIEW FEE WHEN
 RESUBMITTING PLAN IN ORDER TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH
 DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS.
