| FLOWERING TREE. THE PAVEMENT WITHIN THE STRIPED AREA |
| THAT TERMINATES THE ANGLED PARKING STALLS ON THE EAST |
| SIDE OF THE SITE SHALL BE REMOVED AND THE AREA SHALL BE |
| CONVERTED INTO GREEN SPACE WITH A TREE, HEDGE AND OTHER |
| PLANTING. A TREE IS REQUIRED AT THE OPPOSITE END OF THE |
| PARKING ROW IN THE TERMINAL ISLAND. |

| 8. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (3) (C), DIVIDER |
| MEDIANS MAY BE PROVIDED WITHIN THE LANDSCAPE AREA. IF |
| DIVIDER MEDIANS ARE USED, THEY SHALL FORM A CONTINUOUS |
| LANDSCAPED STRIP BETWEEN ABUTTING ROWS OF PARKING |
| SPACES. THE MINIMUM WIDTH OF SUCH A DIVIDER MEDIAN |
| SHALL BE FIVE FEET. SHADE OR FLOWERING TREES WITHIN A |
| DIVIDER MEDIAN SHALL BE PLANTED AT 30 FOOT INTERVALS. |
| THIS APPLIES TO THE EXISTING SQUARE PARKING LOT. |

| 9. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (3), OFF-STREET |
| PARKING LOTS CONTAINING AT LEAST 12 INTERIOR PARKING |
| SPACES SHALL CONTAIN LANDSCAPE AREAS. THE TOTAL SIZE OF |
| SUCH LANDSCAPED AREAS SHALL BE EQUAL TO TEN SQUARE FEET |
| FOR EACH PARKING SPACE AND SHALL BE PROVIDED WITHIN THE |
| INTERIOR OF AN OFF-STREET PARKING AREA. LANDSCAPED |
| AREAS SHALL CONTAIN AT LEAST ONE SHADE TREE OR |
| FLOWERING TREE FOR EACH 100 SQUARE FEET OF REQUIRED |
| LANDSCAPED AREA. A MINIMUM OF 75 PERCENT OF ALL TREES |
| THAT ARE REQUIRED TO BE PLANTED WITHIN THE INTERIOR OF |
| AN OFF-STREET PARKING AREA SHALL BE SHADE TREES. THE |
| SHADE TREES SHALL BE LOCATED IN SUCH A MANNER TO |
| PRODUCE MAXIMUM OVERHEAD CANOPY FOR THE VEHICLES. THE |
| DIVIDER MEDIAN MENTIONED IN THE ITEM ABOVE WOULD BE A |
| LOGICAL PLACE TO INSTALL SOME OF THE REQUIRED TREES. |

| 10. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (5) (A), LANDSCAPE |

| CHARACTERIZED AS "TYPE D". THE EXISTING PARKING AREAS |
| SHALL ALSO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT. |

| 12. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442 (D), PRIVATE LAND AND |
| PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY BETWEEN STREET OR SIDEWALK |
| SURFACES AND REQUIRED BUFFER STRIPS AND LANDSCAPED OPEN |
| SPACE AREAS SHALL BE PLANTED WITH GRASS. GRASS AREAS |
| SHALL BE SODDED. THIS INCLUDES THE RIGHT-OF-WAY AT THE |
| SOUTHEAST CORNER. |

| 13. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-445 (4) (G) (II) IN ALL |
| AREAS THAT ARE TO BE PLANTED IN A CULTIVATED LANDSCAPE, |
| IRRIGATION SYSTEMS SHALL BE DESIGNED TO HAVE 120 |
| PERCENT COVERAGE. THIS INCLUDES THE RIGHT-OF-WAY. THE |
| NOTE ON THE PLAN INDICATES 100% COVERAGE. |

| 14. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (3) (B), ONE |
| INTERIOR LANDSCAPE ISLAND SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR EVERY |
| TEN PARKING SPACES OR FRACTION THEREOF. INTERIOR |
| LANDSCAPE ISLANDS SHALL BE AT LEAST FIVE FEET WIDE, |
| EXCLUDING THE REQUIRED CURB, AND SHALL CONTAIN AT LEAST |
| ONE SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE. THE WIDTH OF THE ONE |
| LANDSCAPE ISLAND THAT WAS PROVIDED DOES NOT MEET THE |
| MINIMUM WIDTH REQUIREMENTS. |

| 15. ALL TREES AND SHRUBS SHALL BE PLANTED AT OR |
| SLIGHTLY ABOVE GRADE WITH THE THREE INCHES OF MULCH |
| PLACED OUTSIDE OF THE ROOT BALL. NO MORE THAN A ONE |
| INCH LAYER OF MULCH SHALL BE PLACED ABOVE THE ROOTBALL |
| OF ANY TREE OR SHRUB. |

| 16. THE CARSTOP DETAIL SHOWS A TWO-SIDED CARSTOP. THAT |
| DOES NOT MEET OUR REQUIREMENTS. PLEASE PROVIDE A |
| STRIPING DETAIL AND A CAR STOP DETAIL THAT MEET OUR |
| CODE REQUIREMENTS. |
