 ADDITION
  
 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) ALTHOUGH THE PLANS HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND STAMPED
 FOR IMPACT FEES BY PALM BEACH COUNTY, TWO COPIES OF THE
 PAID RECEIPT FROM PBC ARE REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED.
  
 2) THE PROJECT IS LOCATED IN AN A5 FLOOD ZONE WITH A
 BASE FLOOD ELEVATION OF 7 FT. THE CITY OF WEST PALM
 BEACH CITY CODE ARTICLE XVII SECTION 94-546 REQUIRES
 ALL NEW RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION OR SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT OF ANY EXISTING RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE TO
 HAVE THE LOWEST FLOOR ELEVATED TO SIX INCHES ABOVE THE
 BASE FLOOD ELEVATION. THE SURVEY THAT WAS SUBMITTED
 INDICATES THE EXISTING STRUCTURE HAS A FINISHED FLOOR
 ELEVATION OF 6.87 FT. THIS PROJECT WILL REQUIRE THAT
 THE EXISTING STRUCTURE AND THE LOWEST FLOOR OF THE
 ADDITION AS WELL AS THE EQUIPMENT SERVICING THE
 BUILDING BE ELEVATED TO A MINIMUM OF 7.6 FT. ABOVE BFE.
 PROVIDE PLANS SHOWING COMPLIANCE.
  
 3) SUBMIT TWO SETS OF SITE DRAINAGE PLANS SHOWING
 COMPLIANCE WITH FBC R401.3 .
  
 4) THE STRUCTURE IS LOCATED WITHIN 600 FEET OF THE
 INLAND WATERWAY. BASED ON FBC R301.2.1.4.3 THE EXPOSURE
 CATEGORY IS C AND THE ROOF SHEATHING UPLIFT AND
 ROOF-TO-WALL UPLIFT LOADS SHALL BE INCREASED BY 20
 PERCENT. PLEASE CORRECT PLANS.
  
 5) THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS AND PLANS DO NOT MATCH. THE
 EXTERIOR WALL R-VALUES DIFFER. THE CEILING TYPE ON THE
 FORM IS VENTED ATTIC AND THE PLANS HAVE AN UN-VENTED
 ATTIC WITH ICYNENE. ITEM #1 ON THE FORM SHOULD BE NEW
 ADDITION, NOT EXISTING. THE OWNER AGENT IS REQUIRED TO
 SIGN THE FORM.
  
 6) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC R310.1 FOR EMERGENCY ESCAPE
 AND RESCUE OPENING AT THE GUEST ROOM /OFFICE.
  
 7) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC R313.2.1 AND R313.4 FOR
 SMOKE ALARMS AND CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS.
  
 8) SUBMIT 2 COPIES OF PRODUCT APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9B-72 FOR THE STRUCTURAL WINDOW MULLIONS.
  
 9) SUBMIT LEGIBLE DRAWINGS FOR THE RAYNOR SECTIONAL
 GARAGE DOOR PRODUCT APPROVALS.
