 1. STRIPING:
 A. SHOW STRIPPED PEDESTRIAN CROSS WALK AT BANYAN AND
 FLAGLER.
 B. NO DETAILS SUPPLIED FOR PARKING SPACES OR ADA
 REQUIREMENTS. I HAVE ATTACHED A COPY TO THE PLAN.
 C. SUGGEST RELOCATING THE ADA PARKING SPOTS NEXT TO THE
 EXIT. A DELINEATED PATH (BLUE THERMOPLASTIC) NEEDS TO
 BE USED TO A SIDEWALK.
 D. A DELINEATED PATH (BLUE THERMOPLASTIC) NEEDS TO BE
 USED TO A SIDEWALK/RAMP FOR ALL OF THE NORTH ADA
 PARKING SPACES.
 2. SIGNAGE:
 A. REMOVE STOP SIGN AT EXIT AT BANYAN, THIS IS A
 TRAFFIC LIGHT REGULATED INTERSECTION.
 B. INSTALL NO PARKING SIGNS IN FRONT OF THE
 DUMPSTER(S).
 3. PAVING:
 A. WHERE WILL THE STRIPING START? I WOULD SUGGEST ABOUT
 TWO FEET OUT INTO FLAGLER AT BANYAN. THE AREA WILL NEED
 TO BE GROUND DOWN SO THE PAVEMENT CAN START WITH OUT
 "FEATHERING". YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE PALM BEACH
 COUNTY MAGNETIC LOOPED WIRES IN THE PAVEMENT IN THIS
 AREA. CAUTION NEEDS TO BE USED WHEN SAW CUTTING SO THE
 LINES ARE NOT CUT. OTHERWISE THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL WILL
 NOT WORK.
 B. PLAN DOES NOT SHOW HOW THE PAVEMENT WILL DRAIN. NO
 "BIRD BATHS" WILL BE ALLOWED.
 4. LANDSCAPE PLAN:
 A. NO IRRIGATION PLAN SUBMITTED. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING
 THAT THE CONTRACTOR HAS ALREADY HOOKED UP TO THE CITY
 SPECIAL EVENTS METER. THIS CONNECTION NEEDS TO BE
 REMOVED. THERE IS AN EXISTING IRRIGATION SYSTEM SERVING
 THE WHOLE SITE, THE 2" METER AND BACKFLOW PREVENTER ARE
 LOCATED NEXT TO THE DUMPSTER. THIS SERVICE HAS BEEN
 DISCONTINUED BY THE OWNER BACK IN FEBRUARY 2009 AND
 NEEDS TO REACTIVATED. CALL PUBLIC UTILITIES CUSTOMER
 SERVICE AT 822-1300 FOR THE FEES REQUIRED.
 B. THE LANDSCAPE PLAN DOES NOT COVER THE LANDSCAPE
 REQUIRED AROUND THE DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE. THIS IS
 UNDERSTANDABLE, SINCE THERE IS NO DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE,
 ONE IS REQUIRED, AS WELL AS THE LANDSCAPING.
 5. FIRE DEPT. ISSUES:
 A. NORMALLY AT LEAST ONE OF THE ENTRANCE/EXIT LANES
 NEEDS TO BE 20' WIDE LANE FOR ACCESS FOR A FIRE TRUCK,
 THIS IS NOT SHOWN ON THE PLAN.
 B. NORMALLY NO PARKING IS ALLOWED IN FRONT OF AN FDC
 AND HYDRANT. IN FRONT OF THE DOCK THERE IS
 A CONFLICT, THE PARKING NEEDS TO BE TAKEN OUT AND
 MARKED "FIRE LANE", ALSO THE HYDRANT AND FDC NEED TO BE
 SHOWN.
 C. THOUGH NOT CALLED OUT THIS FACILITY WILL BE GATED. A
 "KNOX BOX" SET UP SHOULD BE REQUIRED.
 D. YOU WILL NEED TO DISCUSS THE ABOVE ISSUES WITH THE
 FIRE MARSHALL AND THEY WILL NEED TO REVIEW IT FOR OTHER
 ISSUES, SUCH AS THE DESIGNATED "FIRE LANES".
 E. THERE IS A "FIRE LANE" ACCESS ON THE NORTH END OF
 THIS PARKING LOT, THRU THE CONDO TO THE DOCKS. I
 BELIEVE THIS AREA SHOULD BE STRIPED AND MARKED "FIRE
 LANE, NO PARKING" SINCE IT IS THE FIRE LANES ACCESS TO
 YOUR DOCKS. I SAW TWO TRUCKS PARKED IN THIS AREA TODAY
 BLOCKING THE ACCESS.
