 PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSES TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN
 FORMAT.
  
 1. PLEASE APPLY FOR A SEPARATE LANDSCAPE PERMIT. SUBMIT
 TWO COPIES OF A LANDSCAPE PLAN BASED UPON THE
 REQUIREMENTS SETFORTH IN ARTICLE XIV OF THE ZONING AND
 LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS. THE LANDSCAPE PLAN SHALL
 SHOW ALL UTILITIES, EASMENTS, SITE LIGHTING AND
 ANYTHING ELSE THAT MAY INTERFERE WITH THE PROPOSED
 LANDSCAPING. THE PLAN SHALL BE SIGNED AND SEALED BY A
 REGISTERED LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT. PLEASE INCLUDE A
 CERTIFIED COST ESTIMATE THAT INCLUDES THE TOTAL COST OF
 ALL LANDSCAPE MATERIALS AND LABOR, BROKEN DOWN INTO
 UNIT COST.
  
 2. PLEASE PROVIDE THE TABULATION NECESSARY FOR THE
 EVALUATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH ARTICLE XIV OF THE ZONING
 AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, INCLUDING THE
 XERISCAPE DESIGN OPTIONS.
  
 3. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-448 (D), THE LANDSCAPE PLAN
 SHALL CONTAIN ALL OF THE ITEMS LISTED WITHIN THIS
 SECTION.
  
 4. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (2), VEHICULAR USE
 AREAS SHALL BE SCREENED FROM THOROUGHFARES AND
 RESIDENTIAL USES AND DISTRICTS BY A LANDSCAPE BUFFER OF
 AT LEAST FIVE FEET IN WIDTH. HEDGES SHALL BE PLANTED
 WITHIN THE LANDCAPE BUFFER AND ARE SUBJECT TO THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF SUBSECTION 94-445 (4) (E). THE HEDGES
 SHALL BE PLANTED ALONG THE INTERIOR PERIMETER OF THE
 LANDSCAPE BUFFER WHEN ADJACENT TO A RIGHT-OF-WAY. SHADE
 TREES MUST BE PLANTED AT 30-FOOT INTERVALS. THESE ITEMS
 APPLY TO THE SOUTH, EAST AND WEST SIDES OF THE
 PROPERTY.
  
 5. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (E), AT LEAST 30 PERCENT
 OF THE LINEAR FEET AROUND THE EXTERIOR OF ALL
 COMMERCIAL STRUCTURES SHALL BE PLANTED WITH TREES,
 SHRUBS AND HEDGES. PLANTING SHOULD BE INSTALLED ALONG
 ALL SIDES OF THIS STRUCTURE. THE LANDSCAPE AREA ALONG
 THE FRONT ELEVATION (WEST SIDE) CAN BY INCREASED BY
 REMOVING SOME CONCRETE THAT WAS ADDED SOME TIME IN THE
 PAST.
  
 6. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (5) (A), LANDSCAPE
 AREAS SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM VEHICULAR USE AREAS BY
 NON-MOUNTABLE , REINFORCED CONCRETE CURBING OF THE TYPE
 CHARACTERIZED AS "TYPE D".
  
 7. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-445 (4) (G) (3) (II), IN ALL
 AREAS THAT ARE TO BE PLANTED IN A CULTIVATED LANDSCAPE,
 IRRIGATION SYSTEMS SHALL BE DESIGNED TO HAVE 120
 PERCENT COVERAGE. A SEPARATE LANDSCAPE PERMIT IS
 REQUIRED AND TWO COPIES OF AN IRRIGATION PLAN SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION.
  
 8. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-444 (B), GARBAGE OR TRASH
 RECEPTACLES AND ALL OTHER MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SHALL
 NOT BE PERMITTED UNLESS APPROPRIATE SCREENING IS
 PROVIDED. SCREENING SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED OF BRICK,
 DECORATIVE CONCRETE, OTHER DECORATIVE MASONRY OR
 COMPARABLY DURABLE WOOD AND STEEL. WALLS SHALL BE
 LANDSCAPED WITH SHRUBS AND HEDGES PLANTED AT TWO-FOOT
 INTERVALS. A FOUR-SIDED ENCLOSURE WITH VISION OBSCURING
 GATES IS REQUIRED.
  
 9. A LETTER OF APPROVAL FROM THE EASEMENT HOLDER IS
 REQUIRED FOR ANY PLANING WITHIN AN EASEMENT.
  
 10. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS WILL BE FORTHCOMING AFTER A
 LANDSCAPE PLAN HAS BEEN SUBMITTED.
