 NOTE!!!! THIS COMMENT IS TO MAKE THE DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL AND TENANT AWARE OF EXISTING CODE
 COMPLIANCE ISSUES OF THE EXISTING TENANT CONFIGURATION.
 AT THIS TIME IT IS NOT CERTAIN THAT THE PROPOSED MEANS
 OF EGRESS REFLECT THE ORIGINAL PLANS, AND IF THEY WERE,
 THEY WERE ISSUED IN ERROR, OR IF WORK WAS COMPLETED
 SINCE THE ISSUED C. O. AND NOT HAVING THE BENEFIT OF
 PERMIT.
  
 ISSUE ONE IS THE OFFICE AREA IS OVER 8,800 SQ FT AND A
 OCCUPANT LOAD OF 89 OCCUPANTS.
 FBC-B TABLE 1019.2 WILL ONLY ALLOW AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF
 49 WITH A SINGLE EXIT. TWO EXITS ARE REQUIRED AND NOT
 TRAVELING THROUGH A HIGHER HAZARD OCCUPANCY, STORAGE
 (FBC-B1014.2.1). THE EXITS THAT LEAD INTO THE WAREHOUSE
 WOULD NEED TO BE A 2 HR EXIT PASSAGEWAY FROM THE OFFICE
 OCCUPANCY TO THE WAREHOUSE EXIT.
  
 ISSUE TWO IS THERE IS WITHIN THE FENCED IN AREA OF THE
 WAREHOUSE THERE IS TWO MEANS OF EGRESS WITHIN THIS AREA
 BUT HEY ARE NOT SEPARATED BY 1/3RD THE DISTANCE
 (1015.1.2 EXCEPTION 2), THE SECOND ISSUE WITHIN THE
 FENCED IN AREA WOULD BE THE COMMON PATH OF TRAVEL HAS
 ALSO BEEN EXCEEDED, SPRINKLERED BUILDING WITH A STORAGE
 OCCUPANCY ALLOW FOR 100 FT. COMMON PATH OF TRAVEL
 1014.3 EXCEPTION 1).
  
 THE THIRD AREA OF CONCERN IS THE STORAGE AREA NOT
 FENCED IN, COMMON PATH OF TRAVEL HAS BEEN EXCEEDED,
 FBC-B 1014.3 EXCEPTION 1. THE OTHER ISSUE IS HOW ONE
 DETERMINES IF THE STORAGE AREA IS ONE LARGE ONE OR A
 OPEN AREA AND A SECOND FENCED IN AREA UNDER LOCK AND
 KEY. WHEN THE AREA IS CONSIDERED ONE LARGE AREA THERE
 ARE TWO EXITS BUT YOU WOULD NEED TO TRAVEL THROUGH A
 LOCKED AREA, THE TOTAL OCCUPANT LOAD OF THIS SPACE
 WOULD BE 64 REQUIRING TWO DOORS. THE DESIGN TEAM CAN
 ALLOW THE OCCUPANTS OF THE WAREHOUSE TO TRAVEL THROUGH
 THE BUSINESS OCCUPANCY TO AN EXIT. BUT THE DOORS THAT
 LEAD FROM THE OFFICE TO WARE HOUSE WOULD HAVE TO BE
 REVIEWED FOR SWING IN THE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL,
 (1008.1.2).
  
 COMMENT# 1 UNDER THE CURRENT PLAN REVIEW:
  
 1) THE COVERSHEET CODE DATA INDICATES WARE HOUSE
 OCCUPANCY AS F-1 AND A OCCUPANT SQ FT OF 500 SQ FT PER
 PERSON. PLEASE PROVIDE THE TYPE OF MANUFACTURING, FBC-B
 306.2 FACTORY-
 INDUSTRIAL F-1 MODERATE HAZARD.
  
 2) THE OTHER ISSUE IS WITH THE F-1 OCCUPANCY, TABLE
 1004.1.1 INDICATES THE OCCUPANCY PER SQ FT WOULD BE 100
 SQ FT / PERSON. PLEASE CORRECT. FOR STORAGE/ SHIPPING
 IT WOULD BE 300 GROSS.
  
 3) PLANS DO NOT PROVIDE A DOOR LEGEND PLEASE PROVIDE TO
 INDICATE CODE COMPLIANCE WITH FBC-B 715 OPENING
 PROTECTIVE???S AND TABLE 715.4.NOTE PLANS INDICATE A
 NEW FIRE RATED DOOR AND JAMB BUT NO OPENING PROTECTION
 INFORMATION.
  
 4) PLANS INDICATE A NEW MEN???S AND LADIES RESTROOM BUT
 NO HANDICAPPED FACILITIES.
 11-4.1.6 ACCESSIBLE BUILDINGS: ALTERATIONS.
 (1) GENERAL. ALTERATIONS TO EXISTING BUILDINGS AND
 FACILITIES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING:
 (A) NO ALTERATION SHALL BE UNDERTAKEN WHICH DECREASES
 OR HAS THE EFFECT OF DECREASING ACCESSIBILITY OR
 USABILITY OF A BUILDING OR FACILITY BELOW THE
 REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION AT THE TIME OF
 ALTERATION.
 11-4.1.3. (11) TOILET FACILITIES. IF TOILET ROOMS ARE
 PROVIDED, THEN EACH PUBLIC AND COMMON USE TOILET ROOM
 SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 11-4.22.
 11-4.22.4 WATER CLOSETS. IF TOILET STALLS ARE PROVIDED,
 THEN AT LEAST ONE SHALL BE A STANDARD TOILET STALL
 COMPLYING WITH SECTION 11-4.17; WHERE SIX OR MORE
 STALLS ARE PROVIDED, IN ADDITION TO THE STALL COMPLYING
 WITH SECTION 11-4.17.3, AT LEAST ONE STALL 36 INCHES
 (915 MM) WIDE WITH AN OUTWARD SWINGING, SELF-CLOSING
 DOOR AND PARALLEL GRAB BARS COMPLYING WITH FIGURE 30(D)
 AND SECTION 11-4.26 SHALL BE PROVIDED. WATER CLOSETS IN
 SUCH STALLS SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 11-4.16. IF WATER
 CLOSETS ARE NOT IN STALLS, THEN AT LEAST ONE SHALL
 COMPLY WITH SECTION 11-4.16.
  
 5) THE EMPLOYEE LOUNGE INDICATES THE USE OF A SINK,
 PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS INDICATING COMPLIANCE WITH:
  
 SINKS: 11-4.24.2 SINKS, HEIGHT. SINKS SHALL BE MOUNTED
 WITH THE COUNTER NO HIGHER THAN 34" ABOVE THE FINISH
 FLOOR.
 11-4.24.3 KNEE CLEARANCE THAT IS AT LEAST 27" HIGH 30"
 WIDE, AND 19" DEEP SHALL BE PROVIDED UNDERNEATH SINKS.
 11-4.24.5 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR SPACE AT
 LEAST 30 INCHES BY 48 INCHES (760 MM BY 1219 MM)
 COMPLYING WITH SECTION 11-4.2.4 SHALL BE PROVIDED IN
 FRONT OF A SINK TO ALLOW FORWARD APPROACH. THE CLEAR
 FLOOR SPACE SHALL BE ON AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE AND SHALL
 EXTEND A MAXIMUM OF 19 INCHES (485 MM) UNDERNEATH THE
 SINK.
  
 6) PLANS WILL ALSO NEED TO PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH:
 INTERIOR WALL AND CEILING FINISHES SHALL BE CLASSIFIED
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84. SUCH INTERIOR FINISH
 MATERIALS SHALL BE GROUPED IN THE FOLLOWING CLASSES IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR FLAME SPREAD AND SMOKE-DEVELOPED
 INDEXES.
  
 PLEASE INCLUDE A LIFE SAFETY PLAN PROVIDING OCCUPANCY
 LOADS, EGRESS REQUIREMENTS, EXIT ACCESS, EXIT, EXIT
 DISCHARGE, EMERGENCY LIGHTING AND EXITS DIRECTIONAL???S
 AND EXIT SIGNAGE AS WELL AS LOCATION OF FIRE
 EXTINGUISHERS. WPB ADMINISTRATIVE CODE 106.3.5.1.1(7) &
